Always enjoy watching your videos! Interesting, calming, and allows us to feel like we're with you! With all the craziness in the world- it's videos like yours that help prioritize life. Appreciate what you guys do.
There you are enjoying one of our favorite parks. Real Florida. Maggie is right at home in the bike basket now. Bike, and basket pulling double duty, nice. Nice to make new friends. Yes, when you venture out, plenty to see/do. 🙂👍
Once again, Great video. Last June we drove down to Port St Lucie to purchase our Class A and on the way back to SC we spent our first night @Tomoka. Less than 3 miles to the entrance to the park we clipped a tree and destroyed our awning. A trip we'll never forget.
Love your videos. I live a world away in the northwest part of western Canada but look forward to traveling around like yourselves when the wife and I retire in a few years.
Hope we do. As you probably know our videos get progressively less and less real-time and more behind as a trip progresses. We hate that but don't really know what to do about it. Hope we see you.
Great video and enjoyed the content. We camp at Tomoka when we can The sites can be a little tight. Love the area being near history and different attractions not far from the camp ground. Thanks for sharing.
What a nice park. Are the neighbours close bye? That looks like a great stove or firepit for cooking on. Lots of room. Did you put away the Blackstone? I think Maggie would be more comfortable in the front seat when you are traveling around. Cheers guys. 😘🍻🥂😜
In some of the site your neighbors are quit close, but we were pretty please with both of the sites we stayed in this time. I’m sure we will be bring back the Blackstone, we do miss it. Thanks so much for you comment.
Maggie is enjoying her Toto Basket, and smart use of the basket for laundry day. Such a sweet, young couple that you met. I imagine that you make friends ever were that you go! Thank you for the review of Tomoka State Park!
Everyone we met at Tomoka was really nice but the young couple we met at the end of our stay was extra special. It’s so comforting to meet young couples that are so genuine and sweet.
We love the fire pit… it folds up smaller and you can cook on it. We were just trying it out for this trip to see if we liked it better and we do. We do love the solo stove but we may just use it at home.
Just finished watching this Tomoka visit. I haven’t gone camping since moving to FL almost 5 yrs ago. Was thinking of going early next month (December 2023) for a several days depending on availability of a tent site. I was considering Tomoka, Sebastian Inlet or Anastasia in St Augustine. I’m glad I saw your UA-cam on this park Now, I’ll have to see what I can reserve. Thanks!
That's great to hear it helped. All the parks you mentioned are gems. Each is different. Tomoka is old Florida camping thru and thru. We love it. Ormond Beach is a great little town. We rarely hit up the beach there but it's a cool area too. Good luck and enjoy your beautiful state.
It was such a honor to meet y’all and spend time with y’all! 😊 We look forward to meeting up with you three again! Until then, we wish you safe travels & lots of beautiful sunsets 🧡
It was so great meeting you and Jack you are such an awesome couple and it made out trip to Tomoka even more special. I hope you are still loving your truck camper. Happy adventures!
Here’s the link to the light Lumitronics RV LED Euro-Style Porch Light - Clear Lens (Black) a.co/d/3nvlRb7. We also added it to our Amazon page, here a link to that if you are interested www.amazon.com/shop/VanTrekkingLifestyle.
I sure wish my wife would camp without hookups. I think that is on of the most beautiful places in Florida. Lots to do nearby and great restaurants. Super video guys.
Wife and I just found your videos and really enjoying them, we travel in a small motorhome also,we have a scooter we ride, we seen the e bikes and we got to have these, may see you one day we been at a lot of places that you go, you two make a great couple and your videos are awesome take care you two and happy tails
Thanks for reminding me how much my wife and I loved our stay at Tomoka State Park. As Florida residents from Cape Coral, we love our state parks. In May we are heading to Jonathan Dickenson State Park on the East Coast. We visited there before. This will be our first time camping there. It can be a challenge getting a reservation there. Enjoy your visit to Florida. I truly enjoy your videos. I'll do a happy dance for you next time we're camping. Keith and Sue
We do love Florida State Parks for so many reasons, and Jonathan Dickerson is also one of favorites, but it is hard to get into. I’m sure we will have a lot of fun there.
We love our Popup Fire Pit and cooking grate. The bag is great for the firepit but they fell short on the bag for the cooking grate. Would love to hear your thoughts?
We also love the fire pit and being able to cook on it is working out great for us. We have not had any issues with the bags so far, but we haven’t had them very long either.
I am sure lucky to find your channel because it is always beautiful and amazing to travel with you three !!! I sure enjoy your travels from one place to another and. See the sight and enjoy the humor that you have . On again as always BS & BK & BC !!!!
The basket is from Amazon, it is in our store under “Bike Items”, Here’s the link to your store if you are interested www.amazon.com/shop/VanTrekkingLifestyle.
Great video! You are right on the money when you say Tomoka is old Florida and this is the perfect time of the year to experience it. Thank you for taking us along. Happy tails and safe travels.
We spent two full weeks before and after Christmas as Tomoka. Cooked an Aldi bought huge turkey breast over the camp fire which turned out great! Great place to stay for the holidays even though it was pretty cold at that time. Glad you enjoyed it too.
Sounds like you had a great stay too. We had a few cold days but that seems to happen to us a lot when we stay there but it doesn’t keep us from having fun. We got lucky this time… we had a couple of warm days that we were able to get out on the water.
We bought the Toto basket on Amazon. It’s called a Basil Weave WP Hinterradkorb, we have it in our Amazon store under bike items, here’s our link if you are interested www.amazon.com/shop/VanTrekkingLifestyle. We all are really liking it especially Maggie.
@VAN TREKKING lifestyle thank you. I've been looking for something for the back of my bike that will hold our fur baby. Enjoy your travels and I'll see you on the next video.
I hope you are kidding about life’s too short to eat vegetables because life might be shorter if you don’t eat them. I’m sitting here in my little rv at one of the few places in the Alabama Hills with enough internet access to watch your video. Really enjoyed it, as always.
Oh yeah. Kidding. Lynn makes sure every plate has lots of colors... which is code for veggies. 😂. OK. So you are at Alabama Hills. Wow! That is awesome. You know how much we loved being there last year. Have fun.
There is more smoke with the fire pit, but it hasn’t really made that much difference for us. We didn’t use the smoke reflector on the Solo stove either.
It seems Florida has an endless number of awesome State Parks. The 3 of you could do a best of book and probably hit the best sellers list. The new fire pit is a hit and looks like it changed the way you cook, those steaks looked great....Happy Trails 🐕
That is a great idea, we may have to do that with just the Parks that we visited this year, we have added several new ones. We are loving the fire pit and yes it is providing us a different way to cook which is also exciting for us. Thanks for watching.
I just finished some blueberry pancakes for breakfast but that steak looked great! The site and surroundings look so relaxing. Thanks for taking us along! Happy tails!
Haven’t eaten yet today and your steaks have made me very, very hungry. That pop-up fire pit and grill for cooking are the cat’s meow. I saw a Solo stove on my last Costco visit, and those things are heavy! Tomoka seems like a very laid back kind of park, and that’s about my speed - beautiful sunsets, trails to walk on, water to gaze at, fishing is always fun too. So glad to see Maggie enjoying her bike basket rides too. She really seems to enjoy the wind blowing again her face; sweet girl. Wishing you safe travels wherever you are; stay well and hugs for your sweet fur-girl. Lol - no more waiting; it’s time to fix me something yummy to eat.
Nice campground.
Always enjoy watching your videos! Interesting, calming, and allows us to feel like we're with you!
With all the craziness in the world- it's videos like yours that help prioritize life. Appreciate what you guys do.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We appreciate you following along.
Always an adventure! ❤️🐾
Yes it is and we are loving this trip to Florida this year. I hope you guys are doing well. Much love!
The photos at the end of the video were beautiful.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed them.
This park looks nice. That steak and potato looked good as well. I love when Owen does that dance I know when the food was cooked to his taste.
He does that dance a lot especially when he cooks. Thanks so much for watching.
Love the toto basket
We all love the Toto basket too… it’s working out great.
There you are enjoying one of our favorite parks. Real Florida. Maggie is right at home in the bike basket now. Bike, and basket pulling double duty, nice. Nice to make new friends. Yes, when you venture out, plenty to see/do. 🙂👍
It’s one our favorites too. Making new friends Is becoming my favorite thing.
Once again, Great video.
Last June we drove down to Port St Lucie to purchase our Class A and on the way back to SC we spent our first night @Tomoka. Less than 3 miles to the entrance to the park we clipped a tree and destroyed our awning. A trip we'll never forget.
O no, so sorry. There are some low hanging trees and the road can be very tight.
I found you on UA-cam as your One Man Band- you are amazingly talented. So glad I found you. Enjoyed your show!!!
Thank You!
Good morning 🌅, I have been waiting to see some updates traveling , we are going to have a good time smile
Thanks Jerlyn for watching and commenting.
Great video! Thanks for sharing your visit to Tomoka State Park!
You are so welcome and thank you for watching.
We miss you by 1 week sometime we will see you. We like Tomoka too happy traveling
Sorry we missed you, maybe we’ll see you at another campground.
Thanks for the video I like that campground👍
You are so welcome and thank you for watching.
Such a nice lifestyle you both seem to be really enjoying.
We are very blessed. Thanks for watching.
Love what your doing to your channel 😅
Thank you! We appreciate you watching.
HaHa for Cousin David's happy dance - wonder who he learned that from 🙂🙂
I think David is just mocking Owen 🤣.
Love your fire pit!!! Is it warm underneath - perfect place for those cold feet! Blessings
Enjoyed the video. We went to the state park years ago when we were down visiting the grandkids. Beautiful place.
So glad you enjoyed the video, we appreciate you watching and commenting.
Owen, I’m not surprised that people are drawn to y’all. You, Lynn and of course Maggie are so likable.
Thank you Mark… you are very kind.
Florida State Parks are uniquely spectacular - if you can score a site!
We totally agree, each park has something unique to offer and we are loving getting to explore as many as we can.
Love your videos. I live a world away in the northwest part of western Canada but look forward to traveling around like yourselves when the wife and I retire in a few years.
Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment.
We back up to Jonathan Dickenson State Park and live across the street to the Loxahatchee River.
That is a great park. Have fun!
Be careful when cooking over wood my friend. Love your content.
Thanks for the warning, much appreciated.
Another great video! Glad I get to see it through your eyes. Hopefully one day we will get to visit Florida state parks too.
Thank you so much Patty. You hope you get to visit Florida too, it has great State Parks.
What was that on the sky (see video 4:16) ? A fire comet ! Amazing !!! You guys were celebrating the passing of that sky object.
It was a Space X rocket, we were in the middle of cooking dinner or we could have gotten a better video.
Must have just missed you at Tomoka, hope to run in to you as we criss-cross florida. Thanks for your videos.
Hope we do. As you probably know our videos get progressively less and less real-time and more behind as a trip progresses. We hate that but don't really know what to do about it. Hope we see you.

Thank you for exploring new state park. Love all your videos 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
We prefer staying in places we’ve never stayed before but we do have our favorites that we end up staying every time we are in the area.
Salads are good, but optional when ya have good ol' steak and poteaters.
You sound like Owen 😂.
@@VANTREKKINGlifestyle thanks for the videos, y'all help me get through cold or rainy days 😎

Always fun to see your trips. Can you say more about the new fire pit? Did you stop using the solo fire pit?
We love the fire pit… it folds up smaller and you can cook on it. We were just trying it out for this trip to see if we liked it better and we do. We do love the solo stove but we may just use it at home.

While you were there, you should have driven over and enjoyed silver springs state park
Thanks for the suggestion, we will try to add it on the way back up.
Could you provide a link to that replacement outside light? Didn’t see it on your Amazon list. Thanks!

I sure wish my wife would camp without hookups. I think that is on of the most beautiful places in Florida.
Lots to do nearby and great restaurants.
Super video guys.
Thanks Danny, we totally agree that is very beautiful.
Maggie looks so happy in her toto basket! Beautiful park!
Maggie is loving her Toto basket and it’s so much easier than her wagon.

So glad you found us. It would be great to see you on the road, meeting new likeminded people is our favorite thing to do.
Also a great place to kayak and fish, lots of wildlife.
We totally agree… a lot of the time the weather gets in the way of us enjoying the water as much as we would like.

Hi love your videos. Where did the 'toto basket's for Maggie come from?
The basket is from Amazon, it is in our store under “Bike Items”, Here’s the link to your store if you are interested www.amazon.com/shop/VanTrekkingLifestyle.
Great video! You are right on the money when you say Tomoka is old Florida and this is the perfect time of the year to experience it. Thank you for taking us along. Happy tails and safe travels.
Thanks David. There is something to be said about “Old Florida”… we love it.

Love the new grill but didn't see all the fish you cook on it 😅😅 maybe next time
😂❤️. Yeah the fish had lock jaw. We only stayed out an hour or so and headed back to camp. Cold fronts really effect the fishing for sure.
Why haven't we heard any of your music lately, Owen? Come on now, I'm missing some of that.
We will try to include some of Owen’s music in upcoming videos.
@@VANTREKKINGlifestyle thank you
Since you have used both the solo stove and folding fire pit what is the smoke difference?
There is more smoke with the fire pit, but it hasn’t really made that much difference for us. We didn’t use the smoke reflector on the Solo stove either.

Tomoka is a great stop. Hope you make it down next winter too.
Sure looks like Tomoka State Park was a huge success, gotta love the friendships, activities and good times there. Happy tails Maggie. 🐕❤️🇺🇸🙋🏼♀️
We do love all the people we get to meet, it’s the best part of traveling.
Owen, are you running anything in the bike tires besides air? A slime or an insert?
We have liners and slime in our tires, we put both in last year after we had all the problems in Texas. No problems since.
Great video. Have not been to Tomoka yet. It sure looks inviting.
Thanks Mike, we appreciate you watching.
I just finished some blueberry pancakes for breakfast but that steak looked great! The site and surroundings look so relaxing. Thanks for taking us along! Happy tails!
Blueberry pancakes sounds really good. We appreciate you following along.
Great Video, when you come back to Jacksonville, try staying at Huguenot Campground operated by the city.
Thanks for the suggestion, we will look into Huguenot.
Haven’t eaten yet today and your steaks have made me very, very hungry. That pop-up fire pit and grill for cooking are the cat’s meow. I saw a Solo stove on my last Costco visit, and those things are heavy!

@8:43 Looks like Owen should have stuck with the salad.
😂 He just needs to not be so worried about getting his feet wet and have the kayak out a little deeper. ❤️👍❤️
