Keep them aerial shots coming. The island sandwiched between the streams of Halifax River and the massiveness of the Atlantic Ocean is a sight to behold. And, of course, thank you for making the time to film the list.
Excellent! We have been going to Ormond Beach for our Spring Break for 13 years and had never even known about the Ormond Garage restaurant. It looks like a garage from the outside so I am sure noone except the natives have. We went 3x during our week long vaca after watching your vlog! YUMmmm! 😋 The cupcake place closed due to the pandemic, which was sad, but the Goldleaf Cafe is still there. It's all in the same block radius, so if you find Ormond Garage on Grenada, you will find them all, excluding the cupcakes.😓
What an unbelievable presentation of your travels! It legit made me feel like I was there! They don’t do it like you do Mr. Chad they need to get you on TV immediately. You make us viewers feel like we are standing there right with you! Incredible!
Fantastic video. We moved here and are planning a weekend to check many out, we did go to the coffee shop and also researched the arches. We love it here!
We just stayed at the Lotus Boutique on vacation. We loved Ormand beach so much!! We are selling out NY home and buying one out there! Beautiful place!
I don't want to have to go all the way to Orlando Florida for amusement parks what is the closest amusement park in Ormond Beach Florida. I don't want to go to universal studios will cost over $100 each way. If there are not any amusement parks near Ormond Beach. What fun and exciting places that you can go to if y'all don't have any theme parks nearby.
My Grandparents retired in Ormond in1959. We visited every Easter and Christmas until i was a teen in the mid-seventies. I visit every year chasing ghosts of the many Mom and Pop motels long gone…..including the old Ormond Beach Hotel that was on John Anderson Dr. across from the bridge. Pan Am flew flying boats to that hotel using the river in the 1930’s.My Grandfather was a part time electrician until he passed. The last time we stayed there was in the late seventies.
I lived in the area in the early 80s. In Holly hill off of riverside dr. So beautiful. Im thinking of moving back. You seem to be a history buff. I am for sure.
I love it when people presents good places to go where I live but I would go to these places only once it's the people that are the best there's a kid that goes up to 7-Eleven on Granada almost everyday and he is nice
February 2024...Bakery Creations went out of business awhile ago. Memorial Gardens was changed by the building of a newer bigger Museum but most of it is still good. A shot of Billy's Tap near the Museum is out of business. However, many new restaurants and little shops on Granada make it fun.
Going to Ormand next month! Still watching your video. I just hope the beach is nice, quiet, and empty next month. I'll be going after the 4th of course lol.
I have just discovered your channel and your videos are the best I've seen. Your presentation is perfect and your videography is excellent. I appreciate the content. After purchasing a home in Panama City, I have regrets and would like to move to the Atlantic coast between Cocoa and Melbourne. Ormond and New Smyrna are of interest to me. Thank you for putting out top notch content. Your videos will help me narrow my search down.
Great informative video. I’ve been vacationing @ Ocean East Resort in O.B. a couple of times a year since the mid 80’s (with my wife since 2005), and was unaware of most of these places other than The Casements. After watching your video a week ago, we are currently eating at Ormond Garage for the third time this week. #HookedOnCheeaeCurds Unfortunately Cakery Creation was no longer there when we went to try it.
I stayed at The Pagoda on Ormond beach with my family in 1979. I know it's no longer there but I'd like to see what's there now. Is the building still standing or was it completely demolished?
We went to Ormond beach just about every year when I was a kid. Loved it. Of course back then the two main hotels we went to were the Alaskan and the Maine sale. They were next-door to one another. And according to my research they were demolished in 2010. And that sucks cause I was hoping to stay there when I made my truck back to Ormond Beach as a full grown adult. I would also like to be able to check out a lot of these little restaurants in mom and Pop places just walk around the streets, the city. Never got to do that when I was there was a kid. I mean I want to swim and play on the beach like anyone else. But I kind of wanna get to know the city a little bit.

Chad I love your videos but I have to say, based on your reccomendation Im currently sitting at the Ormond Garage and it is a HORRIBLE showcase of food/drink in florida. Terrible value for money. $12 for a burger that doesnt even come with fries :( But...Ormond itself is gorgeous!
❤ I love Ormond Beach Florida. Please don't over build our area. Stop taking down our trees and building row homes/apartments. Your stealing the homes of wild life and over crowding our town. 😢
I love that you show us visitors there is more to Florida than theme parks! Ormond looks beautiful. Cheers
Thx Helga! Lots of great places to see here in FL. Hope you’re doing well!!

I used to live in The Trails.. Spent 28 years in the area.. I do miss this place...

I understand the sentiment but hope you voice your objections to the ones who can pass ordinances, set limits, make & change laws. They’re not here.
