I am getting a grill for camping too. The fire pits are good for hot dogs and marshmallows etc. but food in general, no.

That's exactly right! Cuz we all expect hot dogs to be nasty and charred anyway haha but there ain't no way I'm putting chicken on those nasty rusted fire ring covers
