  • It's a terrible feeling looking down at your car watching fluid pour out. In this video, we take a look at how to identify the source of the leak on a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan, we then go through the process of solving the problem.
I hope this video helps some of you who may run into the same problem. UA-cam is an excellent source for DIYers who cannot stand getting ripped off at the mechanic shop.
At a minimum, take some time to try and solve the problem yourself, doing this has saved me thousands of dollars on car repairs, as many of them can be straight forward.
I hope you enjoy the video and find this helpful and remember to be safe especially when doing work below your vehicle.

Great video this was my neighbours issue on his van. He said he watched your video and checked the clamp first sure enough it snapped and I just happened to have the right size hose clamp on hand.

Good video, I had to replace bottom hose on my 2012 Town n Country. Two push clips and two wire harness plugs and the whole fan and shroud assembly comes out and you have unlimited access to the bottom hose, 20 mins total time to replace bottom clamp and or hose!!!!

Frustrating cause I have this happening right now, barely had time to pull into my driveway that the whole reservoir just poured out, problem is, i'm 8months pregnant so I can't get under the car myself so I have to pay someone to do it for me :( Atleast when I get my van towed to the garage i'll have an idea of what to expect so thanks alot for this video :)

It was a quick fix and it's still holding strong, apparently this was a defect in these model years of van

You made short work of that, nice.
I took on brake lines on my 2003 Ford ranger 2 years ago, it took me 2 weeks to finally learn how to bleed the lines properly, terrible job to do yourself, but in the end I learned quite a bit. The oil pan on my Hyundai Elantra was slightly easier.

@@NeedItMakeIt definitely. The bleeding took forever but eventually got done. Lots of youtube for help.

Did you bleed the system when finished? Bleeder screw is on the thermostat housing..

What If you can smell it but shows no sign of leaking on to the ground below ?

I'm not a mechanic, so best to bring it in. I'd have to ask how you know what you're smelling.
