We love Math With Confidence! I’ve been using it since K with my seven year old and we just started Second Grade this week. My oldest is in 7th grade and we’ve used a ton of different math over the years. I found that I had everything I needed for manipulatives just from different things we’ve used over the years! I wish all the levels were available right now, but I get it’s a new program. I just ordered the Level 4 set for my 5th grader to use as a supplement to fill in gaps.
I do find looking at the lesson the night before is good for my sanity. 😂 I pulled my kindergartener out, they wanted him to redo kindergarten so sometimes I’ll just UA-cam the books that are recommended and do the workbook page If I feel like he’s already mastered it. Like the left right lesson.
Thats sounds great and like it’s working for you! Something that I’ve really embraced this second year of homeschooling, is realizing that I can slice and dice our different curriculums however we need them to work for us! I was so scared to “go off script” last year or not use the curriculum as exactly prescribed. But once I realized that’s one of the best things about homeschooling, I fully embraced customizing our curriculums to our needs! 🥰🥰
@@MaryBarfield Absolutely! I’m finding they are basically the same topics, I have one doing first grade TGATB but randomly got a page with ones and tens placement and I was like… uhm.. that came out of nowhere! We’ll see how that goes as it’s kind of early but I’m also aware of others take on it as well. He was all into one of the games my kindergartener was doing as well, ( In MWC) he’s a very high energy kid. Not sure what the future holds just yet. He’s more gifted with math and was excited to see adding above ten. We’ll see.

Lolz I am listening with headphones and can hear HP in the background. 😂
(Also, we’re just at the beginning of K and loving it so far!)
😂😂 I was waiting for someone to mention Harry Potter playing in the background! I’m glad you are loving it! 🥰
I’m waiting to get my laminator and then I’m gonna pull those pages out and laminate them. 😊
Yes! Laminating is another great option! It will be more durable and last longer! 🙌
