Nice work fella, just started doing the same with mine. All you would need to do is keep going finer grit sand paper until the scratches were gone on the side cover.
That's right Marty. My moto "fix it till it's F...ed". I'm reading the manual now but I get confused. Are you enjoying the cruise control on the Bonnie?
Perfect project for the winter. You will have the bikes looking super for there next riding destination. Cheers Noel
I hope so Lloyd. Actually I hope it runs.
Clean, sand, clean, sand, a nice winter project.
Sort of having fun Buzz. Anyway it's keeping me occupied when it's raining.
You learn something new every day Noel but at least you have a bench.
Haven't you got a bench of some description Nev? Just learnt something from Andre Heuser's comment above. Have a good week Mate.
@@MothershipVideos I did have a bench but struggled to get the bandit on it so I sold it.
Awesome mate! What a beauty you have Sr..
Why thank you very much. It's like having eye candy in the gaarage.

Mate thanks for the heads up. Ride safe.
No need to remove the starter motor. Turn the crank shaft just a tad clockwise while pushing the starter idle gear in place.
Damm it I whish I'd seen your post earlier Wouldn't have had skinned knuckles and wasted a good part of my life. Anyway thanks for the tip.
Well done sir 👍
Well well well. Here’s a bloke who doesn’t read the manual first. Who’d have thought. Still, what else ya gonna do on a rainy afternoon ??
