I'm guilty of squirting loads of lube on my chain, I usually do it from the rear on the paddock stand with the engine running. The back wheel turns even though it's not in gear on my zx9 so it doesn't spin so fast it all flings off all the lube. Your way is better because you inspect the chain while you do it too. 👍👍👍👍

Nothing wrong with squirting your lube from the rear . . . so long as it doesn’t make to much mess 😂
