Well I've long since sold the DR650, recently sold the Bonneville and now own an 09 Suzuki GSX1400 and a 2020 Moto Guzzi V85tt. Both of these bikes are awesome in there own right so if you're interested, in either, come along for the ride.
NO NAME Selfie Stick
I bought this Selfie Stick through eBay, for not much, and was hoping it would do the trick.

Suzuki GSX 1400 Givi Fairing Evaluation No 3
Good job!
Bumping the starter switch while ignition switch on and bike in gear and clutch engaged will cause bike to leap forward unexpectedly is my concern. I’m clumsy like that!
Just be careful mate. Ride safe.
Are you satisfied with this robot, or would you recommend another one? Greetings.
So far so good...no problems.
Great demo! Thank you. Now I have to go replace my side stand…
Glad it helps. The video has been around for a while now. Ride safe mate.
Works well mate, footage is great, the phone works well.
Yes Tim I think I'll just use the phone...hopefully I won't bore you to tears.
I like using the phone when traveling. Just less stuff to carry around. That selfie stick is pretty slick Noel. Enjoy your trip coming up. Cheers
THANK YOU for writing out the tool dimensions, you saved my ass ❤
I'm glad it was of some help mate. Ride safe.
Looks like it's going to be a good day to ride. How long of a ride is it, and about how many riders? Enjoy, ride safe.
Buzz the ride was 37klms about 250 took part in the Wellington ride.
Well it works that's the main thing. Video in a video how about that. Enjoy your visit.
Who said I haven't got to grips with technology?
Nice for a no name stick.
Cheers mate.
The phone is my sugestion Noel. You take it with you anyway!
That's true Nev. My only worry is making myself look more of an idiot than I already do.
😀Gidday Noel, Great job on the video. Yeah what a great turn out for the ride. Looked like a fun day out. Cheers Paul👍👍🍻🍻
Hi Paul, I hope you are well. It was a fantastic turn out mate...thanks.
I know you were on cloud 9 there. Getting to see all the cool bikes and cruise the roads there. Cheers Noel and Thanks for sharing
That gulf scheme was cool on that bike.
Nice to see the gsx1400 out. Make sure you never sell that thing and pass it down (in 40 years when you are too old to ride 😉).
Ha "40 years" I wish. I admit I'm reluctant to part with it.
Great video Noel and brilliant to see the mothership out and about. Didn’t get to the DGR this year. First miss for a long time. Maybe I’ll ride down and join you lot in ‘25.
Now that would be great. Bring Trish down on the mighty Guzzi and stay a night or two.
Beautiful Suzi, mate. Was a great ride! 🤙
Cheers
I am in the mode to buy a new computer as well the one I've been using is 11 years old or more. Takes like two hours to do a video.
11 years old and still usable...that's amazing Spongie.
@@MothershipVideos it's Asus laptop works good but just a little slow when rendering videos.
I used to love doing time lapse videos of clouds but not much clouds lately tho and she's pretty flat where we love haha...
Hi, are you doing the dgr in the weekend?
Hi Phill. yes we are attending the DGR. Looking forward to it, how about yourself?
@@MothershipVideos I'm doing it in Tauranga this year.
@@philldodds1482 Good show...have fun.
There's something about the cloud's movement that's relaxing.
I believe you're Buzz.
Well done Noel, you can never tell what you might catch on camera when doing a time lapse. Have a great weekend
True that Lloyd.
Nicely done. Nice view from your house. 😀
Cheers Tim.
Wow everything is so neat and nice.
Hi I saw you on Rusty Glovebox so took a peek. Very nice indeed my new friend, I have just subscribed to you.
the only thing i agree on is muffler to big but thats why i only buy 01=04 4 into 2, the reason for clunky gearbox is the torque 126nm k1-k4, 124nm k5-k8!! get a better clutch put in problem solved!!
Thanks mate...ride safe.
Don’t cry in your Beer mate. With any luck the new washer will do the trick. $600 isn’t cheap but the oil leak is behind you now. Cheers and enjoy the week
It's doing the trick so far Lloyd, so fingers crossed.
Thanks Noel, your wife has a real Green Thumb. The garden look like its doing great. Thanks for sharing. I was on a quick trip last week and trying to catch up on watching videos. Cheers
Thanks mate.
See the price for service on BMWs
A bit pricey I'm assuming Richard. Ride safe mate.
You can live off the fat of the land now mate 😎
Great that its fixed Noel, I do all the services myself. They charge like wounded bulls here also.
I was going to do the 6 months service but seeing I had this problem I got the bike shop to do it. I'll be doing the next Tim.
Gosh, there's a mighty fine feed or two in there Noel. Well done the gardener !!
Only a few meals I fear Marty.
Two good things, 1, her garden is doing good, 2 she's not using you as fertilizer. LOL
Haha, very good Buzz. I'm sure I'd make crap fertiliser anyway
Had to fit a aluminium crush type washer to seal the temprature guage adaptor on the bandit. Is good the leak is fixed on the guzzi.
You can say that again Nev. Lets hope that's the end of it.
I won't show you my garden Noel!
Come on mate!
😀Gidday Noel, Great job on the video. Yeah glad the leak is fixed. That will make you feel better. Holy Toledo, dam that is expensive for the service. Oh well, at least its done. Ok great stuff, cheers Paul👍👍🍻🍻
Thanks Paul. The video was a bit of a mess but thanks for the kind words mate.
Yeah they know how to charge but when we need their knowledge we need to pay. Sometimes the modern techo stuff gets a bit scary I reckon. The bike relearns your riding style after an upgrade. Wow !!
That's what the OWNER of the joint said Marty...who am I to question his knowledge?
@@MothershipVideos oh I absolutely believe he’s right mate.
What!!! Did I see free FUEL? Nice road for a good ride. Great, all fixed, not a big fix but an important one.
As you know Buzz nothing is free. You probably have to download the BP app, fill up every day for a year and then have one chance in million to get free fuel. Thanks for watching mate.
10 years later and your video is still helping. Cheers for the no BS upload mate.
I'm glad it's been of some use. Thanks for commenting and ride safe.
Looking forwards to seeing your trip vids. I have an ASUA laptop and tower in the shop, great systems
Buzz, the new laptop I have an ASUS as well. Don't know what the Desk Top is.
A trip to Turkey sounds fun Noel. We would like to travel there. Have a good time visiting your daughter and fingers crossed the new laptop works well for you. Cheers mate
Lloyd there's a bit of water to pass under the bridge yet mate. Looking forward to the trip though.
Are you riding to Turkey! Have fun with the laptop.
I can only just ride over here , let alone Turkey Nev. The lap top should be a bit of humour.
You could rent a moped for a day, or just rent one off guy on the street and ride it in circle while they video! Best of luck mate, stay safe.
@@michaelkaylor6770 Sounds like great advise Michael. Good to know you are still alive and kicking. Take care.
Promo>SM 😃
A sharp eye, and a simple fix. Thanks for the test ride.
No worries Buzz...thanks for watching.
😀Good spotting Noel, hopefully thats the problem solved. Cheers Paul👍🍻🍻
Hopefully Paul. How's the weather down your way?
Gidday Noel, weather🌥 hasn't been too bad. Wont be long before the Winter chill sets in tho. Cheers
Brilliant work Noel, looks like the new plug and seal has done the trick. Enjoy your next ride mate
Lloyd we'll wait and see if it's "Brilliant" or not. Enjoy the Summer mate.
Job done Noel. I’ve got a Yamaha here that could do with your mechanical expertise when you’ve got a minute or two.
Not sure about that Marty. I wouldn't mind giving you a hand but "mechanical expertise" I don't think so
Have you had any luck fixing that fjr?
Silicone, tape great idea. Have a great Easter mate.
Same with you Tim.
Hey there, it is really important to read the installation instructions, then the result is also better, we would be happy to send you a replacement free of charge, just contact us Stay protected - Moto Screenies
All is good. The other set arrived and I'm just plucking up the courage to have another go. Thank you for your king offer.
You may want to put a zip-tie around the tape to keep it from coming loss / off. Any bike trips coming up?
Yes might put a zip tie on for security...good suggestion.
