4:19 IM SO GLAD YOU FINALLY SAID THIS. I’m a big biolife guy and I IMMEDIATELY recognized the symbolism of misinterpreting it for a morning glory, the second I saw it. You’re the first person I’ve seen that actually noticed it
I love how yujis eyes look normal until the final panels where you see the double rings, I think it has a meaning as in he was giving sukuna a chance and believes 100% he will win and doesn’t wanna harm megumi.
Hydrangeas (specifically purple ones) are my favorite flower, and I'm glad to see them appear in this chapter. The symbolism works well. I liked this chapter a lot, regardless. Nice review/analysis!
Yuji still offering mercy and redemption to someone he knows full well is without mercy and is irredeemable... its the exact thing I expected his domain to be. He gives one final chance, one final opportunity to be given a death worthy of life. I thought it was going to be more of a crossroads into the afterlife, but its more like sitting outside the school waiting on your test results.
To me, this chapter and your analyses helped me understand something I was looking for. Meaning. Your analyses showed me that simply living and enjoying the small things in life is what makes this life worth living. Small things have meaning, friends, families, the rain, the bus rides home, all of it holds some meaning to me. Maybe it might seem meaningless to somebody else, but thats the beauty of it. Everything has a different meaning to someone else. Thank you for analyzing the video, your words made an impact on me and my perspective. I will always be greatful for this
I like to add to the crawfish scene. Yuji is having a brotherly moment with Sukuna and whether or not he'd like to admit it arguing with your brother over who has the better stuff is connection. It was very nice to see the King of Edge slip up and have a sweet moment despite the fact that he more than likely grew up with no family or friends to teach him love when he was a kid. If Sukuna dies this is lowkey the greatest gift that a shonen protag has given their big bad.
Your analysis videos are fucking amazing as always. If only a huge part of the fanbase would tune into these. You explain things so well and your interpretations are incredible.
I believe the scissors and string in the pannel on 11:23 are shown there to represent Yuji and Sukuna's position in this battle. Yuji is currently like someone standing over a row of strings with scissors in hand. Trying to reach out to Sukuna one last time before he pulls the scissors shut and ends his life (cuts the strings that hold him and megumi together). I believe Sukuna will die next chapter.
Phenomenal chapter. Sukuna with killing intent like this is gonna be NUTS, Yuji truly built different for attempting this but he and the team gonna find a way out of this
I’m so sorry but the fact your main choice of music was from Kingdom Hearts!?? And your choice in music was Roxas and Ven!?! PEAK!! Actually the music choice made me understand the video better too. Cause I dropped off the series a long while but kept up with it every now and then, so listening to this is helping me puzzle out the recent story. So props to you man!
This is why I love your videos, besides the detailed analysis and thorough-ness of your understanding of the story, you manage to draw out profound messages that are applicable to our own lives too. Great video as always, powerful.
Their clash of ideals is not enough for Sukuna to despise Yuji the way he does now. Weirdly, it makes perfect sense for that same clash of ideals to cause Yuji to despise Sukuna. Even the thing with Yuji being Sukuna's reincarnated brother should cause Yuji to despise Sukuna but not necessarily the other way round.
It does make sense And in the same chapter yuji already said he loathed sukuna sukuna is pissed because yuji is judging HIS way of living and pitying him on top of it
This chapter gave me goosebumps at the end. Yuji looks so badass but something tells me Sukuna is about to run amuck now. Yuji should’ve never showed mercy sukuna is about start snatching chains and burning tattoos 😂

@@adonislanzones Those aren't ideologies. Firstly, Nietzsche is a philosopher, therefore he has a philosophical theory not an ideology. On the other hand, Dostoievsky dosen't have a clear ideology, he is a writer. Nietszche's will to power is fundamentally a rejection to western morality and affirms life, despite suffering, it embraces chaos, nobility and all superior values. Sukuna is just a character that seeks power, but dosen't affirm life.
If Gege is taking inspiration from Naruto, both characters will die or be pushed to the brink of death. Megumi must win the games for it to come to an end.
I think it's interesting that Sukuna only engages in competitive activities because they reinforce his mindset of might making right. He's completely dismissive of Yuji's efforts to talk to him, so Yuji tries meeting Sukuna halfway by engaging in something that might interest him. Of course, Sukuna is only barely mustering the effort to participate, but that small part of him always itches to prove its superiority, even at the simplest activities like catching crayfish or archery.
I really can’t believe people have the audacity to downgrade this chapter to “yapping”. Bro if yapping means meaningful character interaction and development then give me more yap chapters
I see you with the Roxas theme to accent this video, amazing choice I feel for the matching themes from KH to JJK especially as Yuji is to Sukuna much like Roxas is to Sora (although less murder/cannibaly) . Idk if that was your intent, if so keep cooking. Love the video though. Have a good one!
Yuji:I have no enemies just stepping stones, that is your role in my story. Sukuna absolutely seething in hatred: I'll kill you and everyone you ever cared about
Okay this is totally unrelated but hear me out, now that yuji got his domain sukuna would have initially be in cautious mode. But, Yuji’s talk no jutsu was a 2 bird with 1 stone scenario, now that yuji has no teammates for the time being, he has to be more careful now, by explaining his ideals he accomplished 3 things 1.explained how he feels 2.Wants megumi back even at this point 3.Enrages and Angers sukuna(IK THIS ISNT SOMETHING YUJI THOUGHT OF BUT IT WORKS IN HIS FAVOUR) Angered sukuna might fumble, imagine without the whole talk and just domain clashes, sukuna would opted simple domain or tanked the shots with RCT! WE ARE BACK TO SQUARE ONE! SUKUNA HAS RCT HE WILL REGAIN CT QUICKER AND GOOD CURSED ENERGY RESERVES. There’s no way to fry his brain again unless Yuta steps in. My expectations,DUE TO ANGER SUKUNA WILL BREAK A BINDING VOW
Then he’ll says ah yes the anti broken binding vow technique (allows him to use not break a binding vow even though he broke a rule) that I haven’t used since the Heian era
Sukuna cannot be saved, not because hes too far gone, or because he doesnt want to be saved, but because there is nothing to be saved. You can show a great white a sunset, children playing in the park, the beauty of this world, at the end of the day, it is a shark, and it will devour you to survive.
Kingdom Hearts music fits this series so well. I played the Scaela ad Caelum track while reading the last 10 chapters and it was a religious experience
I think that videos like this are so important. I wrote off JJK as this thing that would mock and belittle hopeful messages, but now that I can see a bit more, I realize the point of that suffering was for the narrative to have a much stronger 'savior' character in Yuuji.
@@juanpablorobayo9891 I'd compare it to the Dark Souls series, they aren't dark just for the sake of being dark but use that in order to make the good moments feel more satisfying, I love it

1:15 Funny thing about Sukuna sending them off... Yama/Enmaten is the figure in Buddhism that is attributed to Malevolent shrine's hand signs. I wont't delve too deep into this, but the bare minimum of what you should know is that Yama also sends people off once they die, after disecting their character. Yama also has four arms so theres that also apparently Yama at one point bowed to Buddha and Ksitigarbha, showing respect. This is really the only hope Sukuna will show respect and/or retain some human value. He's shown his respect to Gojo (who represents Buddha with his honoured one line), but has yet to show his respect to Ksitigarbha (Yuji)
This was such a breath of fresh air after what felt like a full year of slop for chapters. Maybe I'm just a Sukuna hater but just like he finds nothing of value in Yuji's speech, I find nothing of value in his personality. It's been a hellish year or however long it's actually been since Gojo "lost" (off-screen, to cover up the many plotholes lmao)
So it reaches their heart People who think the show sucks because it talks to much are more into things that are mainly fighting, fan service, food, and all that. This is where the ultimate authors are. Bleach, Naruto, Yuyu Hakasho while I love them they can't match the mind of this. The brilliance is that he was able to achieve everyone's character without completing them, because there was nothing to perfect. It left room for no absence yet answered it all. Yuji was not meant to be the strongest, but the most human and relatable. Gojo who got an ending befittimg even though his dreams of creating something new wasn't achieved when he was living, it unfolds with the generation he nutured and protected. He was never meant to be a great teacher, but was a greater guide in the meaning he have everyone. It allowed them to strengthen their own meanings and goals beyond their teachers while ultimately reaching his. So much goes into all of this and almost everything has meaning without having meaning. It relates person to person because that's how amazingly down to earth the characters are.
I know it is really easy to disregard this theory, but I was just thinking if it is possible for Yuji's domain to be an open domain expansion. It could be the first open domain that warps reality to whatever Yuji desires. Idk but im just putting it out there, because im not sure how it'd be great as a narrative standpoint to have another Open vs Closed domain battle from Gege, especially it being Sukuna's, potentially, last battle.
Something else that should be brought up about the movie theater is how movies relate to Yuji’s trainingto control his cursed energy. He watched lord of the rings, a story of an average person coming accross an item of unimaginable power that is a step in the rebirth of the greatest evil the world has ever known. Not to mention one of the covers was of the Yugioh movie bonds beyond time, and Yuji and Sukuna litterally have a blood tie that binds them accross time.
So with the Crawfish part what it looks like to me is Sukuna is all about Quantity and Yuji is about Quality which honestly reflects them both perfectly
I like the idea that Yuuji is talking about these niche things and random memories as a sort of point to Sukuna, about what his philosophy and way of life misses. Why it matters when Sukuna destroys life, and why life is worth living for more reasons then combat and strength.
I like this. Sukuna has always been hedonistic, doing whatever he wanted. But the truth was Sukuna only placed value in strong things and people. That left him incapable of connecting with everyone else. And rather than reach out, he doubled down on that mindset and closed himself off, turning into a monster in hia isolation. Yuji did the opposite. He placed value in every little thing. So he could see the value other people placed in the world. That allowed him to connect to people and gave him a sense of contenredness that Sukuna could never achieve. This boy is an angel! Sukuna already lost his battle. He just doesn't realise it

But considering this is manga, its been a running thing twins eat their younger sibling to gain power, nothing new and a way for a characters to develop further.
His first kill was his downfall from the very beginning
@@zeekerofwebs8205Makes me wonder what would have happened if sukuna died before jin
Roxas’s theme is such an ironic song choice for a chapter about Yuji and Sukuna. Reminds me of how Roxas and Sora over time grew to understand each other completely by looking through each others memories and by sharing a body
Rikus theme too
Nobody could understand Gojo and so will it be the same with sukuna. The value is in the eye of the beholder.
Gojo was the only one that understood sukuna besides that lightning sorcerer who smoked kenjaku I forget his name
Nah, Yuji could understand him because he had the same mindset as Gojo, who thought of himself just as a tool before ,I don't know how you read this chapter and still missed what it's trying to say lol
" nobody could understand Gojo" . You didn't read the manga . Many characters understand perfectly Gojo with 0 difficulty . Many people have the potential to understand Sukuna : Yuji , Megumi , Yuta and Uraume . In fact , Gojo , Kenjaku , Todo and Haraki probably understand Sukuna 's philosophy
@@DS123-gb8tf the lightning sorcerer did not smoke kenjaku, and his name is kashimo. yuta is the one that killed kenjaku.
@@ConstantinDOSSOU-vy1zo????? YOU don't read the manga if you think everyone understood gojo, his entire life goal was to raise strong students that could be on his level and relate to him, and it's why losing geto hurt so bad, he had an equal in strength after spending his entire childhood miles stronger than everyone else and feeling like a tool
Notice how Yuji’s pupils change when he drops the threat on Sukuna. When he locks in with pending animosity, his pupils change into the same ones sukuna has at all times. Neat little detail that shows Yuji’s growth as an individual and his sheer capacity of destruction with intention. Not a wild destructive force like Sukuna, but more akin to a blade that’s ready to be used when it’s necessary.
I dont believe that Sakuna got the flowers from Megumis memory...couse he basically says right after he doesn't go for useless memories. Theres more to this... why would a beast care about flowers.?

Using the Roxas theme for this is very fitting. I knew there was a reason I liked this channel
Facts.
They also used rikus theme
Ventus's theme was here too
Yuji still offering mercy and redemption to someone he knows full well is without mercy and is irredeemable... its the exact thing I expected his domain to be.
You explain things so well and your interpretations are incredible.
gojo fanbase are just the loudest. you hear them dropping this manga but JJK manga sales werent even affected
It does make sense And in the same chapter yuji already said he loathed sukuna sukuna is pissed because yuji is judging HIS way of living and pitying him on top of it
I thought yuji's dad was sukunas twin. Yuji is his nephew
This chapter gave me goosebumps at the end. Yuji looks so badass but something tells me Sukuna is about to run amuck now. Yuji should’ve never showed mercy sukuna is about start snatching chains and burning tattoos 😂
literally my first thought when the chapter ended. it’s very likely yuji got overconfident, and is about to realize he bit off more than he can chew. if sukuna wasn’t already going all out before this, he definitely is now
@@Stayeazy he hasn’t really shown him mercy. He gave him an ultimatum, either give up all control, or die. I don’t think it will be enough to defeat sukuna outright, but it’s probably going to be something crazy
@@talibjames2659he lowkey did show mercy if he didn’t then yuji would’ve created a domain with the soul cutting dismantle as the guaranteed hit and finish him off from the start. He didn’t have to do all this talking trying to poke at sukunas humanity.
@@Stayeazy this wasnt yujis domain tho. this is just a moment that they shared in the middle of the battle. like sukuna said hes had these moments with other peoples hes fought where their minds connect.
I feel like sukuna is already dead and i saw someone from Facebook state that it could be possible that sukuna is still "alive" because of yuji having fused with a finger but idk about that last part, i do have a feeling that sukuna is already dead though and yuji is holding on to his last bit of consciousness to give a shot at him redeeming himself
Hundred, I just wanna say thank you for adding in the theory I commented on the last video about the Ko-Guy(the locust curse) nobody has mentioned anything in-depth about the scene but thank you 🙏🏾
This is one of the best videos I watched in a long time… and I really mean that. This really touch me. I really loved the way you explained and expressed your ideas. Please continue to live your life as best as you can, I pray and hope I get to continue to watch your videos❣️
to those who want to see which ideologies are being challenged that those two embodies, its a nietzsche vs dostoevsky
No it's not. Why do people constantly misrepresent nihilism.
Yuji casually taking Sukuna on a date😂
INTERVENTION
The final few minutes of this is beautifully said. Amazing analysis.
Honestly, Yuji fumbled here. He could’ve brought Sukuna to a McDonalds and turned Sukuna’s worldview around.
Exactly
If Gege is taking inspiration from Naruto, both characters will die or be pushed to the brink of death. Megumi must win the games for it to come to an end.
It's my prediction that we finna get a mirror of 251, with Yuji’s body on the and Megumi standing over it
@@yukotrey9422 i feel lie it would be more of a mirror of Chapter 009
I don’t think gege is taking inspiration from Naruto here
I was hoping Sukuna would give Yuji a hand with his archery.
Sukuna absolutely seething in hatred: I'll kill you and everyone you ever cared about
Almost feels like this is purgatory for sukuna and he didnt learn the lesson and is going to hell
That’s why I always knew your my go to for jjk. Love listening to these types of videos from you
This chapter is truly the cherry on top of the cake
I've been waiting for this video, thank you hundred 😭🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This was actually a very good explanation 👏
Incredible
The kh ost is an amazing choice for this video
Bro... Using Kingdom hearts music at the start 👏 hell yeah... And throughout the rest of the video too!!! 👏👏👏
Okay this is totally unrelated but hear me out, now that yuji got his domain sukuna would have initially be in cautious mode. But, Yuji’s talk no jutsu was a 2 bird with 1 stone scenario, now that yuji has no teammates for the time being, he has to be more careful now, by explaining his ideals he accomplished 3 things
1.explained how he feels
2.Wants megumi back even at this point
3.Enrages and Angers sukuna(IK THIS ISNT SOMETHING YUJI THOUGHT OF BUT IT WORKS IN HIS FAVOUR)
Angered sukuna might fumble, imagine without the whole talk and just domain clashes, sukuna would opted simple domain or tanked the shots with RCT!
@@Sn_da_1st GO/JO trash fans still on copium

Sukuna has only made binding vows on himself so far meaning he will just lose what he's gained
Beautiful analysis couldn’t have said it better
Sukuna cannot be saved, not because hes too far gone, or because he doesnt want to be saved, but because there is nothing to be saved. You can show a great white a sunset, children playing in the park, the beauty of this world, at the end of the day, it is a shark, and it will devour you to survive.
This chapter is definitely in gege’s top 5 chapters Gege really made me like him
Top tier breakdown that’s much needed
This was a fantastic video, and anyone who just thinks it's another talk no jutsu aren't reading deep enough
This is literally why even now gojo still gets shown almost every other chapter in a flashback.
fantastic video dude
I love the music you used here it really adds alot to the video
This analysis was beautiful
Roxas/Ventus theme playing in the background suites this so well
Cheers man amazing analisis.
Kingdom Hearts music fits this series so well. I played the Scaela ad Caelum track while reading the last 10 chapters and it was a religious experience
this video really elevated the chapter for me, thanks!
what if Sukuna is telling us he DOESN'T FEEL ANYTHING? No pain😂
you always choose great music
I think that videos like this are so important. I wrote off JJK as this thing that would mock and belittle hopeful messages, but now that I can see a bit more, I realize the point of that suffering was for the narrative to have a much stronger 'savior' character in Yuuji.
@@juanpablorobayo9891 I'd compare it to the Dark Souls series, they aren't dark just for the sake of being dark but use that in order to make the good moments feel more satisfying, I love it
Say what you want, the fact that people mourn the characters in this series like they do speaks to something about gege's writing
It's stuff like this that makes Yuji my favorite JJK character and one of my favorite MCs in Anime/Manga.
Gege is really good….this is an excellent contrast and a very good explanation of past events of the manga. I really hope he continues the manga a little longer after this battle.
Amazing , gege is a world class chef
Because of this chapter or because he keeps cooking his characters?
As both a Kingdom Hearts and jjk fan... I only realised until this video, how well so many KH themes fit with JJK

Funny thing about Sukuna sending them off...
Yama/Enmaten is the figure in Buddhism that is attributed to Malevolent shrine's hand signs. I wont't delve too deep into this, but the bare minimum of what you should know is that Yama also sends people off once they die, after disecting their character. Yama also has four arms so theres that
also apparently Yama at one point bowed to Buddha and Ksitigarbha, showing respect.
Nvm, this channel has helped me so much in JJK
Hundred keeping it a 💯. You truly cook with this video.
So it reaches their heart
People who think the show sucks because it talks to much are more into things that are mainly fighting, fan service, food, and all that.
Not only a master class chapter but a master class video!
Sukuna could be the big store that made all of the tiny stores (other opponents) close down. But idk I could just be dumb
“You’re only a thing. You’re only an old killer. You don’t make anything, you don’t live. You just eat and hide”
Keep it a 💯
Something else that should be brought up about the movie theater is how movies relate to Yuji’s trainingto control his cursed energy.
What a wonderful message to send to the world.
So with the Crawfish part what it looks like to me is Sukuna is all about Quantity and Yuji is about Quality which honestly reflects them both perfectly
Domain expansion Therapy 😂
This chapter reveals one thing of importance and one thing only. We can now confirm that Todo is not just delusional!
I like the idea that Yuuji is talking about these niche things and random memories as a sort of point to Sukuna, about what his philosophy and way of life misses. Why it matters when Sukuna destroys life, and why life is worth living for more reasons then combat and strength.
I would say that Yuji's point is that, "it doesn't matter how you died, as long as you are happy with how you lived" that's how i see it.
Why do i feel like Yuji is gonna somehow yank Sukuna's soul out of Megumi's body and back into himself before killing himself
I realize this is really out there ,but did anyone else hear Xion's theme at the beginning of the video?
domain expansion: unc and nephew bonding time
I love here for being willing to kill whoever off it added to when a villain is utterly destroyed by a jujutsu sorcerer.
Even i know what a morning glory is 😂😂😂 we have those over here. Idk what a hydrangea is just a pretty flower
I like how he say an easy mistake
