Hello. I have a predator helios 300, 16GB ram which is two 8gb rams. Anything both 8gb rams and install, i keep getting blue screens, but if only one of them is fixed, ny pc works without the blue screens. What do you think i should do? I'm considering upgrading my ram too.
Is it possible to check the specifications of my existing RAM without opening the laptop? Like how many mhz.. so I can buy a right one first. Thank you!

both of your ram are not of same config. sk hynix is dual rank ram i.e 2Rx8 and adata is single rank i.e 1Rx8 I also have same laptop and i have finally after searching for almost 4 days found a dual rank ram

Either 1 of them are diffective or of different config.. replace both 8gb with new 16gb.

Install cpu z
You can also go into control panel and it'll tell you all hardware.
open tast manager, select performance, under that ram all details are available.
The mhz doesn't matter. You can go up or down, it'll just slightly affect the speed. But it's important that you buy and replace in pairs.

Use 3200 mhz... Faster is better but make sure both are of same speed
