Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5 16v EVO II (W201) DTM specs - Track action @ Monza Circuit - Pure Sound!

- I had the pleasure of filming this awesome Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5 16v EVO II which, starting from a road legal model, was transformed by the German company Mechatronik (www.mechatroni...) into a true DTM replica. Every mechanical processing has been done keeping in mind the specifics of the racing model. Only the rims and a few other details reveal the true origin of the car. The 2.5 liter 4-cylinder engine delivers over 320cv at 8,000 rpm and the weighs is only 1.000 kg. I have to say that it runs and sounds very well!

Ho avuto il piacere di filmare questa strepitosa Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5 16v EVO II che partendo dal modello di serie è stata trasformata dall'azienda tedesca Mechatronik (www.mechatroni...) in una vera replica da DTM. Ogni elaborazione meccanica è stata eseguita tenendo a mente la specifiche del modello da corsa. Solo i cerchi non monodato e pochi altri particolari ne svelano la vera origine di vettura derivata dalla serie. Il motore 4 cilindri di 2.5 litri di cilindrata eroga oltre 320cv ad oltre 8.000 giri/min ed il peso si assesta sui 1.000 kg. Devo dire che sulla pista di Monza gira e suona in modo strepitoso!

Unbelievable 4cyl sounding....!!! 4cyl usually not really sound good, but this one is Pure orgasme, even better than all i ever heard on high rpm, the intake sounding is so powerfull, even more than exhaust, i can't believe it, how amazing it is!!!!!

@@Italiansupercarvideo Oh Man, i owned the 2.3 16 evo1 (did a short video of manuel action on rear leveling system), sounded cool in rpm, but it was nothing comparable to this, some hill climbing video show this car at even more RPM, crazy too, Thank you so much for sharing!!!

Very nice...but to be honest i still prefer Alfa Romeo 155 DTM sound...
The Alfa Romeo 155 DTM is a more modern project and is comparable to the C class rather than the 190. The sound of the Alfa is beautiful 👍

Ok sinon mon client à 2 Types de Mercedes 190 essence,y'a la petite bande qui avait un moteur 2.0 et on a descendu le moteur pour adapter la 2.3.16 et j'ai moi même fait les réglages de la consommation après avoir changé la pompe à essence et c'est après ça qu'il a acheté la 2.5.16 d'origine qui a coulé bielles 3 ans après,ce genre de moteur,on en trouve pas ici chez nous, celà me fait 5 jours que suis entrain de chercher le moteur
@@gaoussoudiane5122 I think the company I mentioned to you is number 1 in Germany, and they specialize in engine rebuilding. They have tremendous experience in the 190 16v engine; they also run the Mercedes that raced in the DTM, so they are the right people to ask. I can't tell you more unless you sign up in some Mercedes forum and ask for specific information for that engine.
