Never been so happy with a UA-cam recommendation! Stoked to stumble upon your channel and this build, sub'd! I am no stanger to benzes or swaps but this is wild.
I would have stuck a photo on a 190e on the dash of the CLA and driven around happy you cant see how bad it looks when your inside .. Insanity genius and hyperfocus collide in this video i am impressed
From what I know the 190e can be equipped with an Inline six m103 or m104, that you can turbo to 500hp easily and with the reliability of a normal street car. Sooo from an Inline 6 you go to an underwhelming inline 4, quadruple the work, make it at most one third as reliable....and quintuple the cost, and also get something that looks strange and out of place, but not in a good way. Niiiice...keep up the good work! 🤣
this is incredible work its truly admirable you did this at home without a fancy workshop truly inspirational could only dream of pulling off such a project hats off to you
the 190 is my favourite classic benz. my grandpa back in morocco still has his and it’s pristine and so beautiful. Really started off my love for germans. found a used 190e here in canada but damn there all rusty and parts are so hard to find. but u jus motivated the hell outta me!
CLA is such a beautiful car. Great shame it was wrong wheel drive without a manual. You grow up dreaming of 190E EVO2 and when you have your money as an adult all Mercedes has to offer you is a front wheel drive slushbox CLA.
anyone one who old cars have more steel could learn something here a very informative insight to how modern cars have gained so much weight over older things that triple layer thick hard steel around the cabin is so much metal no one new about
I've done that a dozen times, it still leaves you with a tired old chassis and none of the safety, performance, or comforts of a modern car. This is the best of both worlds! Thanks for watching!
Ben, it is! It was a barn find, sitting in a yard in Pennsylvania for 16 years. I've been restoring it for 4 years, just fired up the engine for the first time a few weeks ago. I wish I had made a video series of the restoration, but I am documenting it with photos, check out my IG at maxxfish7 for pics. Thanks for watching!
how amazing is this! I love how you dug into it without 56 episode of talking about doing stuff and wasting the viewer's time.

Awesome, thanks for watching!
Wow what a crazy idea
Good work, 23 minutes of progress, not 23 minutes walking around the project car like the majority do
One more sub!!!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed!
Just like every one of your epic builds, I can't wait to see this one.
Now that's what i called a quality content ! Well done, Sir
Love this! All your builds are epic!!

Epic Project always wanted to do something similar
Max, you are awesome! I appreciate your editing style and your “let’s make it happen” attitude. Was smiling the whole time watching this vid!
Thanks for posting the link on unibody swaps. I’m excited to see the project videos
Nice video! It's great to see so much done in one episode. Subscribed!
I'm so mad that you dont have at least 1mln subscribers yet. Amazing skills and amazing workshop, thumbs up, keep it up!

this is an incredible undertaking. I can't believe you're able to do this all on your own!
Anyone doing body swaps, cut and shuts, etc. Toss the damn sawzall and use a mini circular saw with carbide blades whenever possible

Awesome work! Can’t wait to see this come together
Just stumbled upon this - great video, amazing work well done 👍

Great project mate, I will be following.

Looks amazing 🤩. I love this!
Cool project mate, subbed
wow Max You are genius bravo!
Very skilled work but why use a fwd based hadex 4wd floor pan
Very cool got a sub from me, Im planning a 190e evo 3 build myself to go along with my GTR e46 coupe and 1 of 1 GTR wagon.
Sounds like you have some amazing projects, I'd love to see your GTRs! What body kit are you thinking of using for the 190e?
@@maxxfish7 I like the bumpers on the Rieger Evo 3 kit the most
@@BreakTraction the Reiger kit is great, and solves the wheel gap issue in the front. Sadly, the price is eye-watering.
total insane, love it
Love it. This is going to be a great watch.
Thanks for watching! Episode 5 should be up soon
This will be interesting.
Lots and lots of work! ;-)
Did you enjoy them little baggys 😅
I love it😊😊
Keep the white powder. You're going to need it when things get tough!
This is so Awesome!
Looks awesome
Get after it Max!
Glad to see you doing these for your projects! What are odds of long lost footage from a certain 2002 project?😊
This is so cool!
this is insane and im here for it so please lets get it done
asome video keep up the good work
this will be my reference to cut up the useless cla45. thank you thank you thank you
Yesss you finally made a channel!!! Sub'd!
Congrats! You need to have big b@lls to start a project like this!
When will this ride be ready for Lincoln Dr? 😁
Hah! Almost died on that road a few times challenging myself to drive triple the speed limit!
Great job
nice QV you have =)
Sensational video, and project!
How many hours have gone into this stage?
Ps: be great to see your BMW interests too!
I'd guess around 50 shop hours so far, but lots of additional time researching. That whole measure/research twice, cut once, thing!
Subscribed. I shan’t to see what you have up your sleeve.
Is it not better just transplant suspension and engine with gearbox to new body and rewire ? Just asking.

Great job Bro. My hats off to you. Bro thank you for getting my mind back on my two 190E builds 😅
Why the hell arw you building fwd 190

But I'm docking you points for the camo pattern jeans.
They're my "working on cars" pants!
@@maxxfish7 I bet you wear Affliction shirts too "just to work in" 🤪
And you’ve never worn camo?
@@wilk3513 camo jeans? No, absolutely not. I prefer jorts.
I need it please give it to me
This might sound crazy but you just upgraded a drug dealer classic Benz
glad you cutting up the cla. I think its one of the ugliest cars to ever been produced xD
W124 ia more similar
Great job
