This lesson is guitar gold...........I cant overstate how important it is to learn this skill ..........Nice southern rock vibe too..........thanks Rusty Paul from Ireland
I was really excited when I read your comment, Paul! Not an easy skill to learn. I tried to slow it down the best I could to get my point across. Thanks so much for this positive feedback! Talk to you soon Paul.🤛
Really important lesson for guitar players to acquire this skill Rusty..........I do be so excited when I see your new lessons popping up on youtube.........they do be so rich with information yet explained in such an easy way to understand
Rusty great vid- I’m a “new” 60-something sub. Getting back into playing a bit after a 30 yr hiatus😅. Question- what exactly is your ES-style guitar and how did you get the unique control layout (and what is it exactly)? It looks like a Gibson but I’ve only see it once in a video short and the headstock is off-camera. THX !’
@@HBSuccess Glad you like the channel! It’s actually a EB-2 bass. From the early 60s. I got the guitar this way. It took many adjustments to make it a guitar. Including a Les Paul neck. Thanks for checking out the video 🤛

Thank you Rusty G, another great one. I appreciate your way of teaching and explaining things, then putting it to work right away. Keep it coming and I will keep on learning.
This is so reminiscent of Green Grass in my mind. I heard it again the other day and have been chording it on the guitar the past few days. As a over 50 guitar player I have to say that Rusty is - for me- one of the best online teachers. I feel like Im in the room with him and we both have our guitars out...so calming

That's exactly how the lessons help the most! Also, you explain everything really well & understandable! Great job! Thank you very much! 👍👍🎸🔥

Genius Rusty. This is a great Hendrix influenced lesson. Other instructors tell you which string and fret, but you emphasis the notes and the chords and the connections that make up the music, love the way you insert theory without trying. Thank you for demystifying guitar learning. Blessings.
Another stellar lesson. That's definitely a skill I've been looking to develop, and this primer has to be the best one I've seen yet. I admit I now get psyched for Rusty's weekly new lesson offerings! I wish he'd dedicate an entire new lesson strictly to spicing up our guitar playing!! Jim C.

You so cool you make things look easy.....
Thanks for checking out the video 👍
Another fantastic lesson, I am really becoming more aware of all the playing and improvising possibilities with these lessons. One area I would love to see a lesson is getting the tone that you use Randy? Keep up the good work, best channel on UA-cam these days.
I appreciate you watching my lessons! I will definitely talk about guitar tone in an upcoming video. But in this video I was using the. Revv G20 amp. The best small amp I’ve ever had. Perfect amp for a small studio. Thanks so much for your support and have a great week.👍
Fantastic stuff ❤❤
