the tokyo dome with the ramp is in the original VPW 2 as well. It's been like 24 years since i unlocked it on mine, but I believe it unlocks during the career mode.
$120 and nearly a 3 month wait on the post, but VPW2 was the most fun wrestling game I'd ever played, and easily my favorite N64 Game. SOOOOOO many great memories of this original masterpiece, including having to modify the Japanese game cartridge to fit an N64 in America. No one's gonna get the satisfaction of scrounging the 'net in '99-'00 trying to find translated instructions, or even learning all of the game modes and match types. I played it every week for nearly 2 decades until it got destroyed in a wildfire. I found the 'Appeal' feature (the two lines of text your wrestler can say before a match and the 2 lines you can 'say' after you win) when my brother won a match and said: "Watch the screen.". What followed was the screen with his wrestler saying the words: "Don't just go..." &, amazed and eager, I read the next text card, which said: "Go F**K YOURSELF!". The MEGA (once a match opportunity) Special move was an AMAZING touch, and a great way to super rare moves like a hangman's ddt or a burning hammer. The ONLY game I'd rate "SIX Stars" on a scale of 1 to 5.
Thank u for the review I was debating on which mod physical copy wrestling game that I want to buy, between this game, Wrestlemania x 64, Wcw Saturday night live, & no mercy project outsider, this really caught my eyes! This has the most complete mix of legends, I don’t mind the limited music entrance due to limited space now I made up my mind and buying this copy thank u for the review! 👍🏼
@ I already bought the physical copy of both the wrestlemania x and virtual pro wrestling freem edition on eBay for $36 each, I know it’s free but I prefer my own, add it to my collection and play it on my n64. 😁😁😁
@ you would’ve just saved money by getting an EverDrive and just downloading them to it so you can play on the N64. Never supporting illegally selling someone’s hard work
@@poppacap10 facts, plus VPW2 Freem’s site and introduction say pretty clearly to not sell or buy reproduction cartridges of the mod, so ignorance isn’t really an excuse here. It’s not the only mod in the N64 wrestling scene to do so, VPW Salvo is explicitly against selling the mod on repro carts. Going against the devs’ wishes to make a quick buck on a repro is pretty scummy, as is giving up your money for one of them. Either emulate or get an everdrive, which is a better investment anyway
Hot tip for editing moves , you can copy the entire character on create a wrestler , then , on your copy , edit the moves , did this to give angle shamrocks ankle lock and undertaker tombstone for no mercy

@Stock Retro Gamer,

Doesn’t work on retroarch or delta emulator
I recorded all this footage on retroarch. The mupenplus emulator. Definitely patched it correctly?
I am looking forward to ecw mod
Shall we?
Has anyone seen a physical copy of this?
The Original VPW2 You can buy.
@@ThrashAD720 I see people selling a physical mod now too.
@@omgijh Avoid those you can make it yourself.
@@ThrashAD720 I wouldn't even know how though.
