Here’s an idea; attend the USAMU’s Small Arms Firing School this July 22-23 at Camp Perry in Port Clinton, Ohio. It’s Service Rifle Marksmanship Training from Champion Military Shooters/Instructors where you will essentially get training very similar to what Soldiers get from the Squad Designated Marksman Course. The Training concludes with an Army authorized M16 Match to test and celebrate your learning. And, if you finish in top 10% of competitors you will get 4 points toward the 30 needed to earn the prestigious US Distinguished Rifleman Badge. At any rate, with this training you will have the credentials to enter Service Rifle Competition with your “clone” Rifle and that will entertain you after the current thrill of rifle ownership expires.
The only ProMag product worth owning is thier vertical foregrip. Have one on an M4 clone and it looks the part for $10 - $15. Very slightly shorter than an actual KAC. Little elec tape over the logo and you're good
That's a beautiful rifle man. I just finished building my A4 build with a Midwest Industries drop in rail system and it works perfectly with KAC/P&S rail covers , foregrip, and a Surefire M951 light with pressure switch and it's rock solid as well. Also put a MaTech buis to co witness with a Sig Sauer Romeo 7 red dot and a AITES USSOCOM buttstock mag pouch.
I picked up this Colt rifle last month. Got to get all the spec A4 parts as well. Rail handguard and ACOG. There is a top mount sling system and butt stock mag pouch to find as well.binary trigger will get you close to that 3x burst. 👍😀
Nice! All I've done to my A4 is added a Geissele H1, Geissele SCH, Larue MBT-2S, a spare Hogue grip I had, and a KNS .052 ball post. I may switch to a .072 ball post as ye ol' 👀's ain't what they use to be.😕 But I do still enjoy peeps.
Nice rifle. I went with the ACOG TA31 RCO A4CP and the new Larue LT681 return to zero mount specifically meant for the A4. Put a GGandG sling swivel with SpecterGear sling on left side of M5 rail.
New subscriber! Kinda going this route as well…. Got a new manufacture Colt on the way and found the M5 RAS as well. Hope to have some videos on it up on my channel soon. I’m actually considering doing a tan Aluma Hyde finish on it… like a battle worn kinda finish. Been back and forth on it.
I gone with a BCM grip, A1 stock, and I went with the green fiber optics ACOG sitting on top ADM mount. Oh and I end up putting in a Geissele super tricon trigger instead of buying a knight M5 RAS rail, I can’t see spend that much money on a rail. Plus with my luck. I’ll end up with a Chinese knock-off.
I can see spending that much, especially its one of the few rails out there thats made out of the same stuff the rifle is made from which is forged 7075 T6 anodized aluminum, plus this rail is tried and tested in battles where ever our Military is at on Earth.
Also, theres operators out there that utilize IR laser sight systems, that can cost over $2,000, that being said, you want the strongest rails out there, and anything from Knights Armament will suffice.
I got lucky, I was at a gun show in Texas and grabbed a couple Knights Armament vertical grips for like 20 bucks each. How that dealer scooped that bucket of em for that cheap I have no Idea, but I only regret not grabbing like 10.
@@blue_ridge_shooting7668 Man, I'm sorry if I sounded harsh. I'm big on firearm etticute. I did own one a very long time ago, yours is much nicer than mine was.
In fairness he said the trigger was dead. Besides a few triggers you can’t put the rifle on safe without re charging the rifle. Notice he had a Bulgarian slr106 (hodl on to that bad boy the circle 10 factory just blew up) and when shooting AK doctrine is to kill the trigger and leave the hammer up. If you look at dudes with aks overseas their hammer is disengaged without the safety on. I shoot aks in competition and tend to try to kill my AR trigger just out of habit.
Sick rifle man I like your logic and down to earth vibe. Don’t let other people tell you how to run your rifle bro🤙

3:27 And I took that personally
Very cool. I’ll bet a B5 SOPMOD grip would look more clonish than the Magpul
Nice rifle. I got a vertical grip like that for 18 bucks not that brand tho. Got utg quad rail for 24 bucks. Both work great..
Gonna check out the cav arms a1

Does anyone know of a video that has 100 yard grouping using this tifle with scope and various types and weight ammo?

I live in extreme WNC too where are the long range ranges at.
Love a 20 in
Awesome set up , 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Sweet rig
That’s sweet man
I'm leaving my stock how it should be
Why is your acog so far back on the picatinny?
Very short eye relief on the 4x magnification models like this one. It gives about an inch and a half of eye relief.

Hey, are you looking to sale the A2 stock?
Let me know if you do
I went with the Larue Tactical handguard on my AR15A4. Much cheaper and looks amazing while being functional.

For mine I did a more modern style with a Troy SOCC handguard and a PRS lite stock and same grip really love it super lightweight
A R - 1 5 A

Crazy how much you can resale those KAC broom handles for lol. They probably cost KAC less than a dollar per unit too
Nice
I got so sick of waiting for the actual KAC that I got the Midwest Industries. Only $149.00...
KAC rails are everywhere and run about 200-250
@@johnnymitchell952 where? Everywhere I looked they're out of stock
I’d go with a vltor stock system and put a mag pouch on the stock for balance and more ammo capacity
Not even close to a clone! However, good stick!
It's sad that Colt is now simply a brand. All of their guns' parts are manufactured by contractors.
Playing with the trigger and it ain't even on safe, very professional..... It seems to me as though you have no respect for that weapon, my friend.
Thanks for the feedback. Cheers

A Colt is a Colt why do some people call it a clone I don’t understand?
