Aveeno needs to come out with a Calm & Restore cleansing oil and cleansing balm. As much as I love Aveeno, they are getting way behind on the oil-based cleanser front.
@@mignonalverson655 Bliss just came out with a cleansing balm this year and it's amazing! Doesn't sting my eyes either which is a huge plus. You might give it a try if you haven't already.
The Aveeno Oat Gel Moisturizer is one of my absolute holy grails too. I have oily acne prone skin and it works like a charm. I hope they never stop making it.
I love this line so much! Great products with great ingredients. The original oat gel moisturizer is SOOOOO wonderful. I'm excited to try the PHA cleanser and as well the thicker moisturizer once I finish what I'm currently using. Thanks for this review. 🌺
The Calm & Restore Balm is an amazing “eye cream”. I’ve been using it that way for about a month or so and I am in love.. it leaves my under eyes very hydrated, plump and my makeup goes on so smoothly
I absolutely love the redness and relief cream. I’ve used it for about 2 months and it definitely helps with with the redness, etc. I highly recommend this product. I’m going to pick up the exfoliator next time I’m out. Can’t wait to try it and the balm.
I love Aveeno, recently I was diagnosed with Eczema on my body, psoriatic on my scalp, not to mention my acne prone skin. After suffering my entire life with extremely dry and itchy skin, a few months ago I started to use Aveeno, and it really changed my life.
I want to try this but I'm already stocked up on products that I have to use first. The Vaseline Intensive Care line has a new sensitive skin lotion that looks good too. It has colloidal oats, no fragrance and petroleum high up on the list which I like.
I trend that I have recently noticed: moisturizers are just crazy expensive now. They’re almost always double the price of cleansers. I feel like they used to be comparable in price. Maybe I’m wrong. But $20 versus $10 is a huge difference for the same line
I saw someone complain about this in the reviews prior to watching this video which actually turned me away from buying it. It’s hard to justify that price for aveeno no offence
I like the Calm and Restore gel, and want to try their serum and the PHA exfoliator. My favorite thing to use on my hands is the Aveeno Eczema Therapy daily moisturizing cream.
I already had the PHA exfoliator in my cart when I saw your review and now I can comfortably hit buy. I also love this line. Costco has been carrying the Calm and Restore moisturizer so I'm stocked up on that one too. I'm excited to give the Redness Relief cream a try as well. Thanks for the review Dr. Dray!
My face and neck are very sensitive and I was getting rash and dry peeling skin on my face. I started using Aveeno calm + restore oat gel moisturizer and the drmtlgy tinted moisturizer spf 46 and my face is almost back to normal in 5 days. Very happy and plan on trying the other Aveeno products you suggested. Thank you!!
I love this product! My skin is very, very scentive. I also use the baby sunscreen. I switched to Aveeno Shampoo and conditioner and also body wash. They recently came out with a body lotion, too. My skin doesn't like anything with fragrance and harsh chemicals. My skin no longer stings or goes red since I switched to Aveeno. It's a little bit with the sunscreen but not as bad as other brands, and I don't get chemical burns from Aveeno products!!!
I love the Calm and Restore cleanser and moisturizer, I use them daily. I'm looking forward to trying the new PHA exfoliator too. Thanks for reviewing the new products. Take care! 🍂🍁
I feel so overwhelmed recently by both aveeno and cetaphil. They’ve come out with so many new products and products lines at much higher price points that before. Often times I cannot even tell the difference between the lines and really have to analyze the ingredients to figure out the differences (thanks to dr dray for the education on ingredients). Aveeno has three to four new product lines I’ve noticed, and cetaphil has a lot of new things as well and it’s hard to distinguish why they’re new, if they’re reformulated, re packaged/marketed, and what exactly are the differences from the original product line. All the products seems great-don’t get me wrong-dr dray seems to be doing her magic as most if not all are fragrance free- but I definitely get decision fatigue looking at everything I want to try and hope (pray!) something will work for my problematic skin. Still searching for those holy grail products tbh
Dr dray, please make a comparison video comparing these products to the originals and to the other line (ex. Exzema line, tone & texture, etc.). Also same with cetaphil-the eczema line you showed, how is it different than the original moisturizers?
@@THE_K_HOUSE I double cleanse, pat dry then apply to face and leave it on for 10 minutes and then rinse off with a gentle cleanser afterwards. My skin is ultra sensitive so I have to rinse off. I think you can leave on if you can tolerate it.
Dr Dray your Aveeno recommendations saved both my mother's and my skin from periodic irritation. We have to be careful to select the Excema and Calm & Restore lines since we found that some other Aveeno products contain gluten - my mother in particular does react to wheat in skincare products.
Really needed this review today! House full of sensitive skin over here, no kidding. So, thank you so much for this! P.s Your new haicut looks great! And, although you don't need it a bit, your makeup looks lovely:)
I finally got around to watching this one. I was hoping the Eczema Therapy Rescue Relief Treatment Gel Cream would be included. I've tried all of these except the foaming cleanser. I figured it was a repeat of the Ultra Calming foaming cleanser that I didn't care for, I'm not really a fan of foaming cleansers. The PHA cleanser is OK except it's runny. It's possibly the most runny cleanser I've ever used. It would have been nice if they had made it thicker like the original Calm + Restore cleanser. The moisturizer is nice even though you can't put it directly over hyaluronic acid serum, it gums up when you do. But so does every other Aveeno moisturizer I've tried. It's thick, but it's not thick and moisturizing enough for me. It would be hard to beat Cerave Skin Renewing Night Cream, my favorite. I like the balm. It's not cost efficient to use on the body and won't work in some areas where I use the Cerave Healing Ointment, like my nose and lips. But it's more nourishing and less messy to use on the face. And ears, I've used it there a few times. Unfortunately, it didn't work directly over hyaluronic acid serum, as I mentioned earlier. There's also two new PHA moisturizers, Tone + Texture Renewing Lotion and Tone + Texture Gentle Renewing Night Cream. They're for the body, but I tried the Renewing Night Cream on my face. It didn't irritate, and I have very sensitive skin. But like the Redness Relief moisturizer, it's not moisturizing enough for my face.
The oat gel moisturizer and the oat gel cleanser are the best products to touch my skin. I have never felt more hydrated and non- irritated. I have 40 year old rosacea prone skin and this combined with my prescribed creams really changed my skin for the better. I haven't had to use the prescriptions for a while and the oat gel is maintaining healthy skin and dare I say, I no longer have dry sensitive skin as it is more "normal and balanced." I had a lot of luck with the brands "Baby eczema cream" years prior.
Love the Calm and Restore cleanser. Good to know about the refills, too!.I haven't yet tried.the other products in the line but plan to this Winter. My skin has become So Dry since moving from Florida to New Mexico!
☺️☺️☺️ YES!!! I'm an Aveeno lover since over 15 years so to me it's like Christmas already in my head. I'll go to my drugstore this weekend to see if we have them yet. If we do, the Balm, the PHA and the cream are the ones I'm gonna be purchasing. Thank you for your professional review of the new products. Highly appreciated 😍😍😍
Environmental expert Shelbizleee is all about flexible packaging like the new refills for the cleanser here. Definitely an upgrade on sustainability. Way to go Aveeno! An interesting comparison would be the new redness relief moisturizers from Aveeno and Peach Slices.
I love Aveeno especially the Calm and Restore redness relief. It also has the fever few and I have allergies to some mum's but that moisturizer is just fine for me no reactions! I have trouble with redness after using exfoliators so can't wait to that this one.
I absolutely love the redness relief moisturizing cream. I use it at the end of my nighttime routine and have noticed a visible difference in the plumpness of my skin.
Been using Aveeno products for many years from the oatmeal bath for chicken pox for my daughter's when they had them it was between the Aveeno and baking soda baths for the chicken pox, it's good for poison ivy too, which myself and my daughter's are not allergic to, my brother and my sisters sons all get poison ivy very easily.
At 68 my sensitive skin has gotten even more sensitive. The new moisture cream is my go to cream with my very sensitive skin. I'm looking forward to trying the exfoliator.
@@DrDrayzday is it true that for Rosacea you shouldn’t wash your face with a washcloth? Just use your hands? I’m at my wits end trying to control this, I just bought all these products in your video this week and I’m pretty sure it made my skin worse. My ocular rosacea makes trying to find a moisturizer nearly impossible, my eyes seem to react to everything! Would you believe that my dermatologist told me this week to get a chemical peel for Rosacea?? I thought I was going to lose it!
The gel moisturizer is also one of my favorite moisturizer. I just saw that the Aveeno Calm + Restore line has a new product here in Europe, the ‘Rehydrating Night Cream’. I’m going to try it out!
I love aveeno and I love every thing I’ve tried from this line except for the PHA cleanser i haven’t tried yet, but planing on. I even put the balm on my lips at night during these winter nights and it’s amazing. Tonight is the first night I’m trying the balm over the gel moisturizer and praying my skin loves it 🤞🏾cuz I love the feel and texture of it. I even love the packaging.
Dr Dray, can we get an updated hair routine? Your hair is shorter now & wondering if anything’s changed in your haircare. Her hair always looks great! I need tips lol.
The Aveeno Calm and Restore gel is favourite repurchased product especially now we are going into summer. In Australia we have Aveeno Dermexa range - Relieves and soothes dry, itchy skin - I carry a tube of the Daily Emollient cream with me for hands, arms and elbows but I've used it on rough patches on my legs...again summer is coming. It has glycerin, petrolatum, dimethicone and ceramides just like your Skin Therapy Balm, again not greasy just a great multitasker. I'm already online looking for the PHA exfoliator, thanks Dr Dray!!
I realize that I'm a little late on this comment, but I LOVE your new haircut! It's young and professional at the same time, and it's very flattering. Thanks for another great video!
i use tret, but have extremely sensitive and dehydrated skin as well. i handle tret well but TONS of products break me out. I haven’t had any luck with korean brands unfortunately, because the prices are much better. the oat gel from aveeno is the only thing i can 100% rely on as the vanicream face moisturizer isn’t enough for me. it’s SO expensive though, when i need a new one every month! i try to find it in deals. now trying the serum since im admitting it’s the only brand that i can trust. curious about the redness cream, as i do get redness in when i mess up my barrier
Dear DrDray, Thank you for your talk today. Issues with UA-cam or my phone! some products could be viewed, but other channels seemed to be included on your page at the bottom. Apologies if I was not able to like ♥️
Haven't yet tried anything from the Aveeno Oat line, but I wanted you to know your hair is great! So much better in this shorter length! Thanks for your discussion of individual ingredients!
Guys… give it a try! I have diabetes and very sensitive skin. My skin gets red all the time for different reasons, I have acne and combination skin. I’ve been using this line (calm and restore) for 5 days and my cystic acne is going away!!!! My skin has enough hydration and it looks so healthy now.
I absolutely love the cleanser and the oat gel moisturizer. However, the moisturizer was not quite hefty enough to leave me feeling adequately moisturized. I so loved the consistency and feel of it! Ever since I started using avene retrinal, I need my moisturizer to be something extra. But I can see many people loving this one. I had to give it to my sons girlfriend. She loves it and so does her beautiful face.
So they’ve reformulated the only cleanser that has ever actually helped my skin (the ultra-calming foaming cleanser you mentioned. I think they replaced the ultra-calming line with this one because I can’t find it anymore). I’ll give this a try but I’m wary.
I absolutely love the calm and restore oat gel moisturizer!! I've been using it daily since you recommended it. I've used the oat cleanser too and that's nice too. Thanks for reviewing more products in this line. Thanks to someone in the comments recently (I can't remember their name), I was able to pick up a two pack of the moisturizer for a very good price at Costco. Whoever that was, I really appreciated the heads up! 😊 Happy Wednesday, Dr Dray! I hope you have a peaceful evening. 💞
Hi Dr. Dray given my recent mast cell activation appreciate this video. Trying to get used to needing to be careful after 69 years no problem what I put on skin. Gosh I love your haircut, makes it look even thicker and gives you a lift. The lip color looks really nice too.
LOVE the refillable option! Finally! I'm a big fan of TerraCycle.... recycling programs for a variety of companies (including Burts Bees, Garnier, Aussie shampoo, Kroger.... etc...). Enjoy the Aveeno oat cleanser. Always used Cerave but our Costco isn't selling it any longer (what the heck....).
I've been a long time fan of Aveeno's Skin Relief Moisturizing Lotion specifically the fragrance free one with shea butter. I've repurchased this one many times.
I’ve been using the PHA exfoliator for over a month about 4 days a week. I’m 49 with oily acne prone skin and melasma. I haven’t noticed a difference in my skin. No improvement or negatives, my skin just seems the same. I’ve never used a PHA product & I don’t exfoliate beyond wiping my face with a washcloth.
I think most will need to go with Prosecea if they're having Rosecea issues due to social contact, lots of exposure to the general public or ordering out.
That redness Relief Cream pills insanely, at least over Curology. I have never seen pilling like that. So using the greasy Baby Balm (same as night balm). Trick is not to use too much. I use it on the body after the shower and it has really helped my skin. The Oat Gel is too light for me (pills a bit).
Love the oat cleanser, but the gel moisturizer and redness cream send my rosacea bumps into overdrive. Too bad b/c the texture of the cream for me is perfect. Cetaphil redness relief night moisturizer is still the most non-irritating for my rosacea.
Whoa! I paid $15 for The PHA exfoliant at the CVS here in PR😮 Either way, I love it, thanks to you. It’s replaced my Inkey List PHA Toner that I was committed to for the last 2 years. Thanks!!🎉
I don't use feverfew because I don't get all g with it but I'm glad that these exist for those who re able to use them but the balm is good. I'm glad it's traditional brands making better products especially those at the drug store. I walk into stop and shop or cvs and Walgreens and find amazing products now and its been like that for a while now but I'm just happy were seeing more fragrance free products.
Hi Dr. Dray, in case you didn't know, at Costco you can get 2 Aveeno Calm and Restore Oat Gel Moisturizers for $19.99. Have you already tried this one and do you like it? I bought it and I really like the way if feels on my face. It absorbs quickly but remains for a soft feeling skin.
My skin this year has been bad now that winter seems to be here already. I put Eucerin on face this morning. It hasn’t been stinging as much. Hopefully I can start using tretinoin again. Also drinking more water!
I got the PHA cleanser after you hyped it up. Also the regular calm + restore cleanser. Havent tried them yet tho because making my way thru value size Cerave cream to foam hydrating cleanser 😅
After just finishing the cream moisturizer, I definitely prefer the gel moisturizer. The spreadability and absorption is better for my acne prone, oily skin. The best new product out of these 4, is that skin therapy balm. I only use it on my hands but it makes them very soft. Aveeno also has a new product called the eczema therapy rescue relief gel cream. It is pretty liquidy even though its called a gel cream. I tried it on my face for a few nights since its so light. No new breakouts. I mostly bought it for a rash and its soothing and clearing up. Ive really been enjoying these new aveeno products.

♡ Yes, loving the oat gel moisturizer! Fun to see more in the line.
I started using tretinoin about a month ago and this line has been a great help with the side effects 😊❤️
Thanks for the review! I do enjoy these videos. These look like products that would be good for me to try. Keep them coming!
Thanks for watching
I absolutely love the calm and restore oat gel moisturizer!! I've been using it daily since you recommended it. I've used the oat cleanser too and that's nice too. Thanks for reviewing more products in this line. Thanks to someone in the comments recently (I can't remember their name), I was able to pick up a two pack of the moisturizer for a very good price at Costco. Whoever that was, I really appreciated the heads up! 😊 Happy Wednesday, Dr Dray! I hope you have a peaceful evening. 💞
My Costco still had the deal when I went this week. Just in case anyone is still looking.
Thank you Katherine!! ☺️
Hi Dr. Dray given my recent mast cell activation appreciate this video. Trying to get used to needing to be careful after 69 years no problem what I put on skin. Gosh I love your haircut, makes it look even thicker and gives you a lift. The lip color looks really nice too.
you look so pretty and refreshed with this makeup omggg
I love everything Aveeno. Thank you to you for introducing me to it.
Me too 👍🏼👍🏼
I LOVE most Aveeno skin care products, but especially anything (and everything) in their "Radiant" line of products. 💕
The cleanser and moisturizer have really soothe my rosacea. Love this line!
The redness relief version or the regular calm + restore? I have rosacea too and am red like 90% of the time.
@@softmunchies5597 I have the regular calm and restore. They really helped me!
@@MDev617 Okay thank you! I've been looking researching up and down about these skincare lines
I am loving the little kirby behind you! I grew up playing Kirby games and he was always my favorite ❤
I’ll be getting that refill for the cleanser - my fav!!
Thanks Dr Dray👍🏽
I've been a long time fan of Aveeno's Skin Relief Moisturizing Lotion specifically the fragrance free one with shea butter. I've repurchased this one many times.
So looking forward to this video! Love you Dr. Dray!
The oat gel moisturizer is perfection. I have my husband hooked too, who doesn’t usually wear moisturizer
I think most will need to go with Prosecea if they're having Rosecea issues due to social contact, lots of exposure to the general public or ordering out.
Love The Calm and Restore gel. It has eclipsed all the other moisturizers.
So good!
My favorite skincare line!
👍🏼👍🏼
Omg the balm was the only thing that helped the dermatitis around my eyes. I now use it around my eyes and enjoy it
That redness Relief Cream pills insanely, at least over Curology.
Try the calm and restore balm! Thicker like the cream, very few ingredients, no feverfew. I couldn't use the gel either but the balm is great.
I will give that a try. Thanks!
Whoa! I paid $15 for The PHA exfoliant at the CVS here in PR😮 Either way, I love it, thanks to you. It’s replaced my Inkey List PHA Toner that I was committed to for the last 2 years. Thanks!!🎉
Cvs is ridiculous. They price their items like kohls.
Dr Dray your makeup is beautiful. Please do a tutorial on this look.
Ordered the pha product now thanks dr dray!
Can you please review the Peach Slices Redness Rescue line? Would love your thoughts....You look stunning! Lovd the makeup and cut!💙
Dammmn I already wished Aveeno was available here but the desire just got stronger!!
No I never tried those products before that lineup but I'm willing to give it a try.I have some of my Amazon list.Cause I have dermatitis
Really love the redness relief moisturizer!
Thank you for as always superb product review. My favorite line.
wow, this line has so much products than just the cleanser and the moisturizer
My skin this year has been bad now that winter seems to be here already. I put Eucerin on face this morning. It hasn’t been stinging as much. Hopefully I can start using tretinoin again. Also drinking more water!
I got the PHA cleanser after you hyped it up. Also the regular calm + restore cleanser. Havent tried them yet tho because making my way thru value size Cerave cream to foam hydrating cleanser 😅
Hi DR Dray happy to be here have a nice day♥
Happy Wednesday
Your hair looks fabulous, Dr Dray.
I love the new moisturizing cream. Fantastic product.
Happy Wednesday, Dr. Dray 🤍🌸☀️
Happy Wednesday
I bought the PHA exfoliator from Aveeno. HUGE fail for me. My nose itches so bad and it gives me a migraine. Back to Wishtrend's Mandelic Acid.
Your eye makeup looks great in this video
Great video! I definitely have my eyes on the PHA Exfoliator and the Redness Relieving Cream! I can’t wait to try them out❤
Ooooo I'm so happy to see this!!
Could I use this for rosacea? Can you make an updated video on it too please? Thank you!
I have been curious about these!
Looking forward to your review! Happy Wednesday Dr Dray and peeps! 🥰😍🤩
Happy Wednesday
