Honestly I know how you feel usually they look past bad looks sometimes for old games but this one it seems they just wanted to constantly bash it but I love this game me and my father use to play this all the time taking turns and destroying.
YESSSSS Turok Evolution was amazing back when I played it. Multiplayer on the tree map with the dinosaurs down below was insane. Loved shooting the poison arrows at enemies and making them puke.
I love that Matt is such a Turok 2 fan. :) The game still had like a million flaws, but it still had some cool stuff that no other games had, which made it pretty great for it's time. Nothing like having your enemies run around in panic while a fucking bomb drills directly into their brain! Or slashing off a raptor's head with a giant metal claw attached to your arm, just to have them run around headless for a few seconds like giant chickens.
Agreed, also the Swarm Bore from Evolution is probably one of the most ridiculously violent weapons in gaming, dismembering enemies from the inside while making a horrible drilling sound.
Did you know that Ducky's VA from the Land Before Time was fatally shot in the head by her father at the age of 10, shortly before he killed himself. The more you know!
I think you guys are being a little unfair to this game, i mean i know it's old and doesn't compare to todays standards but c'mon, it was super impressive back on the 3DO. ..wait, this is an xbox original game? oh...tcccchhhhhhh, awkward.
Perhaps it is a sin to admit such a thing, but I recall this being one of the first M rated games I acquired when I was young and I LOVED IT! My cousin who was even younger then me got it for his birthday due to his mother seeing the back and saying "Oh a dinosaur game!" little did she realize it was filled with blood, gore, and a cache of awesome and totally unique weapons. After she made him get ride of it, he smuggled it over to my house where we spent endless nights enjoying our first M rated experience. Childhood Memories!
Other notable releases in 2002 include: Medal of Honor Allied Assault, Burnout 2, Timesplitters 2, Jedi Outcast and Elders Scrolls III Morrowind. Good job, Aklaim, putting out the quality hits.
I cant help but feel like 70% of this episode should have been edited out. It's 1 thing to criticize every little thing, its another to fail basic platforming skills for 20 minutes and just say "wow this game sucks" the whole time. I honestly cant believe TBFP put up an episode like this, they normal have a better quality standard.
This game was only good because nostalgia. I remember that zoo cheat that let you go to some giant fucking zoo with every dinosaur in the game. But there were still some redeeming qualities such as poison arrows, gibs and blood, and other things im sure im missing.
God, you made me remember this... thing. It's so fucking aweful compared to Dinosaur Hunter. I don't understand how a sequel turns to crap instead of improving. Actually, the game is aweful period. Prepare for tl;dr rant no one cares about for why this game is horrible: For example, notice how Matt fell straight down in his running jump attempt? the jumping physics in this game blow: if you press jump at the tip of the platform, it doesn't register, while in DH you could jump almost falling from the platform. Also, when you jump too close to a wall, the jump height gets cut short for some reason, and then you fall down really slowly, as if Turok's jump wasn't wimpy enough here compared to the original. Not bad enough already? Turok also takes falling damage very easily from small heights, so you also get punished for the bad jump physics. This also ruins climbing, since it's a huge pain in the ass to climb down anything here, because you get stuck in the climbing mode and Turok breaks his hip from a 2 feet fall while trying to get off. The climbing up animation is shameful too, it looks like you are ascending in a mechanical device, while in DH you climbed in intervals, in a realistic way, even with huffing and puffing. You may also have noticed the slowdown near the waterfall. It's not the recording or youtube's fault. The game slow downs at certain points. The stupid AI you see in the video? it also happens. Rejoice, you can snipe a whole squad without getting a reaction, or watch as enemies stand in place defenseless a few feet from you, because you entered an area where they can't follow nor attack you for some reason. Did you notice too how a velociraptor hurt them even though there was some distance between them? This game also suffers from bad hit detection. Baboons are the most obvious example, they will bite you from a meter away, THROUGH SOLID ROCK. They got stuck. This is natural. The level advancement is cryptical at some points. I remember a key being hidden in a small platform protrounding from a cliff, which you can't see except in a certain spot from a certain angle. Also a point with a double door that didn't look like a double door, instead it looked like a small room that would trap you inside if entered. It's ok for secrets, but critical advancement progresion should not be cryptic. See how it took them a while to find the weapon they wanted to use? there is no visible weapon wheel here, so this is another issue. It's not that bad in the first level, but it will require more and more scrolling as you accumulate weapons. You like some cheap deaths? this is provided too! I remember one level exploding all over the place. Instant kill explosions. It wasn't a classic "time limit before self destruction" level, no, just random explosions all over the place. And the flying levels feel like NES Silver Surfer: touch anything and you explode. Ironically, the flying level foes barely do anything to you and there's health everywhere, the level itself is the real danger. There is no hard difficulty. I would normally complain about how that takes away replay value, but honestly, I don't know if that's a bad thing here, because the game was tolerable enough to beat once with a moderate difficulty and bad games become so much worse when they are hard and you have to deal with frustration on top of bad design. The enemies' gameplay isn't very creative either. They are generic fps enemies, just with a lizardman skin added on top. They don't have any special gimmicks. Remember the variety in awesome enemies DH had? not found here. There are no bosses like in DH, just one final boss and, while cool in concept (a conferate general riding a weaponised T-Rex), in gameplay it practically encourages you to exploit it cheaply, since it's almost impossible avoiding damage. But the most deppresing part is that they failed to get the Turok feel right. They couldn't make up their minds on whether they wanted to make a Turok sequel, a Quake rip off or a Star Fox rip off, so we ended up with this mash. DH was a fantastic adventure in the savage, uncivilized lands of the Lost World. In this game most of the levels are inside enemy bases with just the lizardmen as enemies, then the developers remember they were supposed to make a Turok game and throw you back in the jungle (were they cram a bunch of velociraptors to make up for it) for a bit, then a modern city back with the lizardmen, and some flying levels thrown in between. In short, the game's style and atmosphere is too inconsistent! The graphics suck too. I have too much free time, don't I? but yeah, as a fan of the original, this game pissed me off too much and I had to let it out.
We need a full LP of this game! If only to show the world how amazing this game truly is. The graphics are stunning, the level transitions are seamless! THIS IS NEXT GEN HYPE AT IT'S FINEST!
I loved this game mainly since I had brothers so we would play multiplayer and be a raptor and the map with the jungle and the raptors underneath you god I loved this game
Play Turok 2 for the N64, it's not only the best one in the series, but it's one of the best FPS games not only for the N64, but of the entire year it was released.
It's so extremely frustrating how long it took you to make that easy as hell jump. Also, the weapon swinging animation reminds me of Oblivion. That and how cool it looks when you kill stuff is the only thing I like about this game.
Matt you have no idea how hyped I was to see you guys play this game it was the first game I ever owned so it's near and dear to my heart even though it sucked haha rock on man great videos!
cj wolf Same here, original Turok's was NTHGTHDGDCRTDTRK (On the eighth day god created Turok, with no vowels or 'Y' I guess because someoe at Acclaim didn't know Y wasn't a vowel).
Don't worry there are parts of that game that will definitely revive him to full health. I just downloaded and playthrough it when I saw the first episode, its a fantastic game (albeit somewhat short).
The first few levels (and most) in this game are awful. Later stages have some really tough segments. You do, in fact, get a cerebral bore and it's fucking radical. It's a secondary fire on the missile launcher, the whole gun transforms. And the chaingun transforms into a super accurate dart thing.
I liked this game. It hasn't aged too well (though neither has Goldeneye but people still love that) but I still like aspects of it. The controls and graphics aren't very good but the weapon variety and effects they have on enemies is fun to mess around with, boss fights are kinda cool, and the multiplayer can be really fun in the right mindset. Especially playing as a raptor in the jungle level.
TheOGMrPinkyBoy FoV isn't affected by UA-cam and the blur is so bad UA-cam probably doesn't make a difference unless if you're watching at 144p. Then you couldn't see anything...
SanguineONI most console games back then had a lower FOV because 1) it helped keep framerates steady 2) when sitting away from the screen, on a couch, a lower FOV isn't really a problem. Up close (like on a computer screen) it can cause motion sickness.
I keep reading the comments and I can't understand how you people say this game is good. From design, to engine, to graphics, gameplay and story, It's a bunch of bullocks really.
MrRavano considering it came out the same year as gta 3, sunshine, windwaker, the original halo, and the original KH this game looks like a piece of shit
Xthechosen21XX Unlike Sonic 06, this game works and has it's charm for some people. Sure it looks like shit, but gameplay can make up for it, Me, I like this game and it hasn't aged so well but I still like the Single Player and Multiplayer. It can be good fun in the right mindset or just for someone who likes Turok games (hot damn, I love Turok 2 and 3). Evolution isn't everyone though, it's more for Turok fans, really.
I wouldn't say Turok 2 on the GameBoy is as awful as Liam makes it out to be... I mean, it is NOT a good game in the slightest, but I have definitely played way worse on the GameBoy.
I prefer it this way actually, I mean the very campy "Wow check this thing out AMERICA!" gag while at times is funny it begins to tire me out. So having cynical matt and Liam play through shit games is pretty fucking hilarious.
Gregory Fontaine well not me, different strokes for different folks. also it's hyperbole to say a turok game on n64 looks better than a ps2 game. I think he just never got over the game cube incident.
Yeah I felt they were overly harsh on this one. Given when it came out and the people behind it I would say it was at minimum a good single play-through game.
No better graphics card than Nostalgia Goggles. Turok 2 looks better than Evolution my arse. Those 'enormous levels' were poorly textured corridors for the most part. Why is this first person shooter not a sandbox come on it was 2002 for chrissakes! This game is mediocre at best but taking Matt's opinion with a pinch of salt if he didn't make it to the first flying mission, it's about an hour in.
Darkone348 Looks like it was optimised for Xbox and half-arsed on both the other consoles with the gamecube getting the worst treatment. Which of course means that is the version Matt played. :-)
Yeah...this looks...okay for its time. But I mean, Sons of liberty looked better than this, Bounty Hunter, even Combat Evolved looked better than this.
quite impressive having a set of monkey sensing retractable platforms to keep your hovering key that unlocks the door in the long underwater tunnel guarded by a group of crocodiles in the prehistoric era
Thanks for the wave of nostalgia guys, wish we could hang sometime to play these games of yore while chatting it up. that would truly be the hypest shit. Ah well, hopefully i'll run into you guys at the next Convention! I'll be going as Ash from the Evil Dead, just like at Ottowa Comic-con this year. Until then, Hail to the king, baby!
Ok, that raptor guy is only partly right. Velociraptors as they are seen in most media are misinterpreted. In reality they are much smaller, the Velociraptors we are most used to seeing are actually what are known as Utahraptors, which were much larger.
The day the Best Friends tore apart my childhood
Honestly I know how you feel usually they look past bad looks sometimes for old games but this one it seems they just wanted to constantly bash it but I love this game me and my father use to play this all the time taking turns and destroying.
same here turok is a childhood classic
YESSSSS Turok Evolution was amazing back when I played it. Multiplayer on the tree map with the dinosaurs down below was insane. Loved shooting the poison arrows at enemies and making them puke.
The poison arrows were the best! That Dark Matter cube was fun too!
All I remember is inputting as much cheats in as possible kahaha
Heireau Melons
i only did that in Turok 2 because i didn't have a expansion pack
this was my favorite game before dark souls 1
Too bad it appears Matt dislikes it. And has the GC version. He's clearly never reached the last boss to fight the minigun toting Tyranno.
Loved this game as a kid, so many fun weapons.
I love that Matt is such a Turok 2 fan. :) The game still had like a million flaws, but it still had some cool stuff that no other games had, which made it pretty great for it's time. Nothing like having your enemies run around in panic while a fucking bomb drills directly into their brain! Agreed, also the Swarm Bore from Evolution is probably one of the most ridiculously violent weapons in gaming, dismembering enemies from the inside while making a horrible drilling sound.
"When Turok crashed my GameCube, I returned it to Blockbuster." What a time locked statement.
I'm kinda upset by how much harder they made that jump look to be than it was, seriously.. the lower edge on the left was the closet thing next to it
Woah wait. Wait. Hold the fuck on. I'm not the only one who knows about Okage?
I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE.
were they in narattou
Zero Maverick
ask woolie, he's the expert in all things narattou
***** ok im pretty sure there nija's
Zero Maverick Its an old jrpg released back in 2001 by Zener Works. And it's awesome.
CrankyConstruct it on steam or ps3 or wii or 3ds Virtual console (old games purchasable through new stores)
Expanding Hamburgers...I'm losing it, where does Liam come up with these witty jokes!?
The worst part is that Charles Barkley's shut up and jam: Gaiden has a more coherent story than this game......AND THIS WAS MADE BASED ON A COMIC!
Nah! This story is too coherent to possibly be based on a comic.
The inability to make a simple jump at the beginning is driving me up the wall. Stop being so bad you two, you're setting a bad example. Shame on you.
Glad Im not the only one the beginning was pissing me off I don't know if Matt and Liam are just stupid...or if they're just stupid...
Your playing is bad and you should feel bad!
Driving you up the wall like that one raptor at the 22:40 mark?
Rapolu Roshan
No, not like Jesus Raptor Desu
To be fair it looks like the controls are terrible.
Did you know that Ducky's VA from the Land Before Time was fatally shot in the head by her father at the age of 10, shortly before he killed himself. The more you know!
Holy shit.
I.....didn't know that......and now I wish I hadn't read your comment.
Yeah, I was aware of such things. Forgot about it until these guys mentioned The Land Before Time, and when I remembered I twitched a bit.
Bible 2: The Backdown is the best thing I've heard in forever.
I think you guys are being a little unfair to this game, i mean i know it's old and doesn't compare to todays standards but c'mon, it was super impressive back on the 3DO.
..wait, this is an xbox original game? oh...tcccchhhhhhh, awkward.
I'm just happy they aren't playing the PS2 version, cut dat framerate in half, water down those textures and double the loading times...PERFECT
Youve gotta be shitting me. All jokes aside, i thought this was an N64 game, and an N64 game with horrendous graphics!
I'm sorry N64!! I'M SORRY!! ;__; But, i still won't forgive you for Superman 64...
But the first two games in the series were infinitely better than this back then.
havent played this game in 12 years, STILL HAVE THE MASTER CHEAT MEMORIZED
Drajzool I still remember FMNFB.
Perhaps it is a sin to admit such a thing, but I recall this being one of the first M rated games I acquired when I was young and I LOVED IT! never had a problem with this game and i loved this when i had a PS2
As a kid this was one of my fav games of all time :D
Playing it with god mode and all weapons made it bearable
10/10 would play again
I Loved this game, spent hours on it with my buddies when it first came out
Other notable releases in 2002 include: Medal of Honor Allied Assault, Burnout 2, Timesplitters 2, Jedi Outcast and Elders Scrolls III Morrowind.

Judith Barsi, the voice actor for Ducky in The Land Before Time, was killed by her father in a double murder-suicide at the age of 10.
"Yep yep yep"
This game was only good because nostalgia.
I remember that zoo cheat that let you go to some giant fucking zoo with every dinosaur in the game.

Holy mother of word walls...
0_0 You've succumbed to the Dark Hadou!
Many thanks. I only remember DH, and the Cerebral Bore from Turok 2. God, Acclaim buried this franchise so hard.
Tl;dr for people - Dinosaur hunter is better in every way, this game is shitty and cheap.
***** And now they have buried themselves...
We need a full LP of this game! If only to show the world how amazing this game truly is. The graphics are stunning, the level transitions are seamless! THIS IS NEXT GEN HYPE AT IT'S FINEST!

Play Turok 2 for the N64, it's not only the best one in the series, but it's one of the best FPS games not only for the N64, but of the entire year it was released.
It felt loose and unresponsive.
Just like Pats mum.
First war of the monsters and now Turok? You guys are basically playing my childhood!
It's so extremely frustrating how long it took you to make that easy as hell jump.
Also, the weapon swinging animation reminds me of Oblivion. That and how cool it looks when you kill stuff is the only thing I like about this game.
I can't even count how many times I asked my dad for help on Spiro when I was a kid.
holy crap i remember this game, it was amazing, shame the newish Turok game wasn't that great
the older turoks were better in my opinion
Theo Truter well I wasn't old enough to play or afford the older games, i wish i could of tried them
its fine 2 is the best if u get the chance
yeh turok 2 and fookn rage wars!!!
I didn't think the new turok was THAT bad if they did a sequel it could have been much better
I can't believe Matt didn't say "See you later, Alligator."
Wow. Wish you guys played Turok 2, because this game was pretty damn hard to watch.
Omg, this was the best game back in the day! I would play this for days on end! YES
Did 2Snacks make Liam's hair longer? However always awesome to see Liam and Matt unleash their inner Predator :D
Matt you have no idea how hyped I was to see you guys play this game it was the first game I ever owned so it's near and dear to my heart even though it sucked haha rock on man great videos!
Anyone else get super sick whenever Liam is playing?
I loved this game as a little kid. It actually gets pretty good later on.
22:50 Raptor Jesus confirmed. Anyone remember that meme? Anyone? Ok....
literally everyone knows that meme
It's probably for the best no one remembers ~2005 /b/ memes
WaiWai
but raptor jesus is actually awesome, thats why everyone remembers it
WaiWai Wow really? I thought that originated somewhere else. Also, you broke the 1st rule of /b/
Xthechosen21XX
what even is /b/? is it even real? is it the illuminati?
This was literally the first video game that i played back when i was like 3. Man this has not aged well.
The master cheat for this is tattooed in my memory (fmnfb)
I have the master cheat for Turok 2 burned into my memory forever (bewareoblivionisathand)
cj wolf Same here, original Turok's was NTHGTHDGDCRTDTRK (On the eighth day god created Turok, with no vowels or 'Y' I guess because someoe at Acclaim didn't know Y wasn't a vowel).
This is by far one of my favorite childhood games. Oh god it's terribly good.
it was so stupid but i freakin loved that game, i still no the zoo cheat where you can see all the enemy types in zoo type cages xD
I think "You don't know how many disappearing crocodile corpses I leave in your bed as a threat" is the best sentence I've ever heard.
Hey, can you do a Huntin' and Killin' in Fallout3 or NV?
Liam has become much more amusing. Besides warming up to him, I think he's warming up to commenting and becoming more confident as a result.
I feel like Liam has been slowly dying over the past couple months and the only thing keeping him alive is Barkley Shut Up and Jam Gaiden.
Don't worry there are parts of that game that will definitely revive him to full health. I just downloaded and playthrough it when I saw the first episode, its a fantastic game (albeit somewhat short).
So much nostalgia from playing this back on the Xbox. Oh man there is going to be some shenanigans here.
The first few levels (and most) in this game are awful. Later stages have some really tough segments.
You do, in fact, get a cerebral bore and it's fucking radical. It's a secondary fire on the missile launcher, the whole gun transforms. And the chaingun transforms into a super accurate dart thing.
Turok Evolution, holy shit, I played the hell out of this when I was young.
Matt is like a loveable DSP with how bad he is at video games
I always knew Pat was a leprechaun. The angriest, gingeriest leprechaun in all the land.
omg omg I love this game
I liked this game. It hasn't aged too well (though neither has Goldeneye but people still love that) but I still like aspects of it. The controls and graphics aren't very good but the weapon variety and effects they have on enemies is fun to mess around with, boss fights are kinda cool, and the multiplayer can be really fun in the right mindset. Especially playing as a raptor in the jungle level.
Id rather see this as a full lp then that barkley crap
fail
barkely is an amazing piece of art, this is average at best.
both games are crap, i just think this would be a more entertaining lp to watch
have u experienced the love of barkely? That is love of games and b-ball.
You're an idiot.
How can my Woolie hole possibly be this cute?
God dammit, I was really hoping they would use the Zoo cheat.
What are you talking about? That logo and main menu are amazing!
Please don't play game like this again.
The blur and the low FoV is killing me.
It's really because of youtube. Like the game's FPS probably wasnt great but I cant remember but this on youtube sure is bad.
TheOGMrPinkyBoy FoV isn't affected by UA-cam and the blur is so bad UA-cam probably doesn't make a difference unless if you're watching at 144p.
Then you couldn't see anything...
Low fov? What?
Zanpa Field of view. The camera is centered too far forward which can cause motion sickness or discomfort in some people.
SanguineONI most console games back then had a lower FOV because 1) it helped keep framerates steady 2) when sitting away from the screen, on a couch, a lower FOV isn't really a problem. Up close (like on a computer screen) it can cause motion sickness.
Cmon man.. Turok 2 seeds of evil. Do a playthrough with Liam! That's be the most epic
its no fun to watch if you start the game with the intention of hating on it
They started Marlow Briggs with the intention of hating on it and now he's confirmed for Smash.
matt needs counseling over his gamecube crashing
You must have hated the Final Fight Streetwise, Indigo Prophecy, Silent Hill Downpour, Silent Hill Homecoming, and Beyond Two Souls playthroughs.
To be honest, Turok Evolution was trash compared to Turok 1 and 2.
That raptor walking up the wall was Ubisofting it up super hard.
I keep reading the comments and I can't understand how you people say this game is good. From design, to engine, to graphics, gameplay and story, It's a bunch of bullocks really.
Bollocks, you say?
Only people who grew up with this game can love it. Without nostalgia glasses is a really really confuse shooter
MrRavano considering it came out the same year as gta 3, sunshine, windwaker, the original halo, and the original KH this game looks like a piece of shit
One word: Nostalgia. I know people who think Sonic 06 is a good game.
Xthechosen21XX
Unlike Sonic 06, this game works and has it's charm for some people.
God i love this game, that opening when the axe club hits that dino dude in the beginning got me so hyped.
What a mysterious jogo
I love the huntin and killin series
is this fuckin day one garry's incident?
Matt playing games with Liam = full ham mode engaged.
THE HYPEST ANIMAL MURDER ON UA-cam.
Matt and Liam should totally play Jurassic Park on PC.
I'm pushing for a rename of the Matt & Liam series to:
*Two* *Best* *Senpais* *Play*
Man I loved this game growing up. I think I still have it somewhere... maybe I'll play it again.
I'm glad I didn't play this when it came out. The thought of me defending this p.o.s because of nostalgia is terrifying.
I'm guessing nostalgia glasses are required to enjoy this game.
No it takes the ps2 version that does not look this terrible.
I wouldn't say Turok 2 on the GameBoy is as awful as Liam makes it out to be... I mean, it is NOT a good game in the slightest, but I have definitely played way worse on the GameBoy.
Agreed. Plus the first two games have bitchin' music.
This isn't the LP we need but it's the one we deserve.
Newman had nothing to do with creating the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park. Just go and smack Henry Wu in the face, will ya.
I approve this message, and this avatar.
Never in my life did I expect to hear a reference to Dinotopeia.
Is it me or has tbf become more cynical
It's a natural reaction to Liam's constant optimism
I prefer it this way actually, I mean the very campy "Wow check this thing out AMERICA!" gag while at times is funny it begins to tire me out. So having cynical matt and Liam play through shit games is pretty fucking hilarious.
Gregory Fontaine
well not me, different strokes for different folks. also it's hyperbole to say a turok game on n64 looks better than a ps2 game. I think he just never got over the game cube incident.
Yeah I felt they were overly harsh on this one. Given when it came out and the people behind it I would say it was at minimum a good single play-through game.
Seems more like you love this game, and you're butthurt that Matt and Liam think it's shit.
OMG. I remember playing this game every single day when I was a kid.
but I liked Turok Evolution......
(Do I have shit taste?)
No, you just enjoy games that you enjoy. Evolution was fucking awesome; even if it's excessive gore gave me fatigue.
excessive gore was what made me and all my friends love it when we were like 10 years old, id rather 10 year olds play shit like this, than CoD
loved it too growing up
Longneck: Hmm? What was that? *arrow to face* Must have been my imagination.
A real cool guy would kill the monkey while standing on the centre platform so he would not have to do all that jumping.
RaptorNX01 stand on the location of the center platform so when you kill the last monkey you are raised along with the platform.
This was like the only game I played on the Xbox when I was 5 I fucking loved every second of it this vid brings back memories
also, full lp. you guys need to play a shitty game. its been too long
Considering they could barely make the babby jump on the first map, I'm not so sure I wanna see a full LP...
I too agree that there should be full LPs of Superman 64 and Galerians.
I'm still waiting for them to play X-blades.
I want to see them watch the cutscenes to FFXIII...
Holy shit, I've been waiting since Kirby's epic yarn for this game to be adressed, well worth it.
Ermegherd the graphics on the Gamecube version of a multiplatform game are inferior who could have guessed...
Right? "What is it loading? The environment looks like ass." Well it's a fucking 2002 gamecube version. No shit dumbass Matt.
The Gamecube version is legitimately inferior in every way: uk.ign.com/articles/2002/09/06/turok-evolution-head-to-head?page=3
TCRP117 The PS2 version had some pretty bad lag on some levels though.
Darkone348
Looks like it was optimised for Xbox and half-arsed on both the other consoles with the gamecube getting the worst treatment. Which of course means that is the version Matt played. :-)
I remember playing this when I was a young babie ages ago, loved the shit out of it, got so much entertainment.... *nostalgic sigh*
5 year old me was better at this game than you guys o.o
Liam with the Okage reference
you are now my favorite
I loved this game so much when i was a kid.
Oh my god Nostalgia. I remember playing this game when I was like 12. Nghh.
This game was awesome never thought you guys would play it. Hope you play the latest version too.
Until then, Hail to the king, baby!
this game is my damn childhood, me and my cousin play it and had a blast on the multiplayer... such good times. :)
Ok, that raptor guy is only partly right. Velociraptors as they are seen in most media are misinterpreted. In reality they are much smaller, the Velociraptors we are most used to seeing are actually what are known as Utahraptors, which were much larger.
I'm with Liam on the waterfall thing. If I see a waterfall and there isn't space to explore behind it, I get super disappointed.
Turok Evolution was like Crysis 3 back then.. i thought the whole city battle was freaking epic
