The beauty of this game is not that you can drop a nuke on a T-Rex. It's that you can reach a point where shit gets so nuts that you're not sure if you just dropped a nuke on a T-Rex.
Turok 2 had some serious shit. *Draw distance set at 20 feet and clipping set at 5* *Mine thrower that blows dudes legs off* *Napalm gun that was kinda cool* *MOTHERFUCKING CEREBRAL BORE* *Alien chick with god damn huge cans*
I got stressed when I realized they missed a triangle and then I realized I was getting upset about someone not collecting triangles in Turok: Dinosaur Hunter. But then Sappo helped them go back and get it so we're all good.
Okay, so we have... -Humans and raptors double teaming -Native Americans with chain guns and mini nukes -A Tyrannosaurus Rex with laser eyes and fire breath -Mutated, ground-pounding gorillas -Swarms of aliens -Fucking terminators -Portal jumping Man, why can't more games be this fucking awesome?
-Raptoids- Leapers. **Slaps Matt** Also, I forgot there are demons in this game too, but they just look like burnt people. And there's giant insects. If we're counting Turok 2, there's also multidimensional monsters and human-like dinosaurs (Raptoids) that were probably created from the suckling-related antics of Turok~
In Turok 2, the main plot is actually about the dinosaurs and Raptoids trying to get revenge... and child support payments. Hence why the sequel is called 'Seeds of Evil'.
The Turok and Perfect Dark games had the best weapons. The weapons Turok got could level cities: nukes, particle accelerators, black hole guns, dark matter grenades, a time energy gun, rocket launchers that could shoot 3-5 missiles at once, etc. The Turok games are also responsible for the creation of the Metroid Prime series and in a more indirect way other first person platformer/adventure games like Mirror's Edge.
First i get to watch Matt bumble his way through Final Fantasy X. a game I love dearly. Now I get to watch him wander aimlessly through Turok, another game that means a lot to me. The pain is immeasurable.
Serious Sam the First & Second Encounter was 90s shooter. Serious Sam 3 though, I played a demo and it keeps up but it feels too different from the 1st & 2nd games.
+Trippersigs22 I think like magfest and comicon eventes must have a DECONTAMINATION CHAMBER before you enter ..it must have. ..FUCKING WASTELAND TOXIC GEEKS running around
Put so many hours into this back in the nineties. Man, it was such a bitch collecting all the Chronoscepter pieces to find out it's almost impossible to hit the Campaigner with it. Much more fun entering NTHGTHDGDCRTDTRK and going nuts on the wildlife with it.
That spinning gun that did no damage was the "Particle Accelerator" and it's actually fucking sick. It turns regular enemies to stone, then makes them blow up. Doesn't work on bosses, though
So you're telling me that Turok hunted dinos for their white, hot, creamy body fluids, from a set of creatures that have no tits. I dont think it's dino milk, but rather it is dino "milk", if you know what I mean
*wha, whaaat ? that's some strong weed* you guys crack me up. What happened was that, you killed the T rex, but it killed you right after, so the game got confused, rofl.
Oh, man, the nostalgia. I like to call it my Second Wave of Nostalgia, because the first one was for games made when I was just little Nightweaver Jr. back in the late 1980s, but this era almost surpasses it.
I remember the ads in Nintendo Power that got me hyped up for this game's release. It had Turok and a raptor facing off against each other. Turok had his knife raised, ready to strike the raptor, as the raptor was slashing its claw across Turok's torso, shooting his blood out everywhere with the words TUROK: DINOSAUR HUNTER. It was the most badass, metal thing ever.
Plague? I know you're there Plague! Someone said dino tt's. I know you have been summoned. I'm a big fan of your work. That being said, turn this into the moving pictures. I will wait.
Wow, watching Matt's inability to comprehend moving AND aiming at the same time really makes me appreciate all the LPs where he's not on the controls EVEN MORE than I already did.
I wish it showed them playing the game more & it's hilarious when they died at the Thunder T Rex because they drained the last of its health just as they were dying too so it had that really awkward cutscene. It was also really funny watching them fight the Campaigner too. When I would play this I would use the invincibility code & run around, tricking the enemies into fighting each other. Some of the human death animations & sound effects are also really hilarious, the human enemies are sometimes the most fun to kill because of their stupidity.
Limited time offer! Put "When's Blazblue" on your baby's tombstone to be entered into a prize drawing! The winner will receive hollow promises and disappointing Fisticuffs videos!
blazerj21 No, but shut up. Bad mic audio, commentary that boils down to "but it's not as good as muh Guilty Gear tho", no gameplay footage (not even switching over to Third Strike so there would at least be *some* content). Clearly there is no way to top the quality of the Blazblue video.
Better late than never to saying this, but man, does it make me happy that "where are we going??" "dum da duum" has become a SBFP meme. I've been saying it randomly for a decade, and I finally feel vindicated.
Holy fuck, I know the entire first level of this by heart. My step-dad bought this game for my older brother when he turned 7 and we played the SHIT out of it for years. Feel free to make as many assumptions about my family from that statement.
i remember playing turok 2 with some friends of mine. we were always playing online, fooling with other players by using text to speach. it was hilarious to hear microsoft sam recite a quote from shakespear as you t-bag your opponent
FUCKIN' LOVED THIS GAME ON THE '64. Best part in hindsight is that my grandma is the one who bought it for me as a birthday present when I was a child.
The N64 version actually did have those cloud effects. This remaster, like the Turok 2 one looks not great compared to the N64, as the shadows and brightness are completely borked, so the remaster actually looks worse in general. The only thing they really added visually was a slicker HUD and a sun, which the original already had, but a bit different, and sharpening the textures. It's not as big a deal here, but it's really jarring in Turok 2 if you regularly played the N64 version.
The beauty of this game is not that you can drop a nuke on a T-Rex. It's that you can reach a point where shit gets so nuts that you're not sure if you just dropped a nuke on a T-Rex.
Woolie's voice is wrecked because he screamed every time he saw a short haired cosplayer at the con.
Doing a Blanka voice for hours on end can do that to a man...thing...
+WaiWai and why is matts voice fucked
Woolie is correct. I hear the drums at all times.
Even in my dreams. Even in my nightmares.
Turok 2 had some serious shit.
*Draw distance set at 20 feet and clipping set at 5*
*Mine thrower that blows dudes legs off*
*Napalm gun that was kinda cool*

+Key Strix You forgot about Raptoids, there's even red ones!
-Raptoids- Leapers. **Slaps Matt**

I demand a full Let's Play. The commentary in this are amazing.
+Wakka's Al Bhed Potion maybe Matt can stream it on the twitch flophouse
It was so amazing how high pitched Matt's voice got at the t-rex part, that, for me, MADE the LP.
Pat should have played this;
"You know what beats vikings and dinosaurs? ...
a gun."
+Oni Tenacity? Courage?
+MelBrooksKA GUN!
Gotta love Woolie's post-con voice.
I love how the most Nineties Bullshit Imaginable has descended upon Woolie in his weakened state
I'm disappointed by the lack of Cadillacs in this dinosaur world.
I love how in the first 3 minutes of the game, the Indian native already abandoned his bow for a gun and he collects Scooby Snacks.
It's especially great because their voices are cracking and it sounds like they're 12. They're playing the part of their old selves.
[Theme of when a dude wants a black girlfriend intensifies]
People die when they are killed, except Turok. HE LIVES, HE DIES, HE LIVES AGAIN.
+FrozenCore84 Oh, what a day! What a lovely day!!!
+Jake Hyland WITNESS ME
First i get to watch Matt bumble his way through Final Fantasy X. a game I love dearly. Now I get to watch him wander aimlessly through Turok, another game that means a lot to me. The pain is immeasurable.
Matt and Woolie slipping in and out of puberty.
I love it
Little known fact: the argonian race in The Elder Scrolls series was created by Turok so that lizards could finally have breasts to suckle on.
Something tells me the guys who made this were hitting that spiritual invincibility.
They were on it the entire time.
+N00BSYBORG Hardcore invincibility vaping
Tonight, Woolie joins the hunt. It's not actually a hunting and kill though.
I'm sure there's an entire corner of Deviant Art dedicated to dinosaurs with teats.
+MrJohnnyJohnster Duuuuuude, you don't even want to venture into that rabbit hole. I've been there.
+Nightweaver1
I'm sure there's an entire corner dedicated to venturing down rabbits' holes too. DAMMIT DEVIANT ART, YOU MAKE EVERYTHING GROTEY!
Oh good, Woolie's lust for animal murder may finally come to use.
+GalaxyUpper--G But Liam should have been here, since this is basically an episode of Huntin' and Killin'.
+JohnRaines True
Played the hell out of this as a kid, I don't know why but watching this now I appreciate this game so much more.
Who are these guttural, extraterrestrial creatures that vaguely sound like Matt and Woolie?
"I, literally, have 1 iota of health"
Forget that shit! HERE COMES SSAPOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
That's weird...
I thought they finished playing Star Fox Adventures.
Commenting on this so I can +1 it when I get home.
+Anthony P. #gold
+Anthony P. WHERE ARE WE GOING?!
Matt just goes around a corner and fires a arrow right between Tricky's eyes
***** Hello person who also has best girl avatar.
>playing Turok 2 theme for your Turok 1 stream video
Quality
0:25 An Iguana wearing Gurren Lagann sunglasses before Gurren Lagann was even a thing.
#TheWarriorswerehere
Man.. Watching these guys play through and suck HARD at a game that I played and loved to death as a child.. It's rough.
you know you stumbled upon a awesome best friends video when they're laughing their asses off for 30 minutes instead of yapping for 50 min
holy shit I miss 90s shooters
Serious Sam the First & Second Encounter was 90s shooter. Serious Sam 3 though, I played a demo and it keeps up but it feels too different from the 1st & 2nd games.
Like Columbine
The good thing about them not uploading FFX is that it gives me enough time to do the Racist Wakka comp. (Currently on part 21)
It will be back tomorrow.
***** Praise be to Yevon.
This is the level of quality I've come to expect out of my video games
You guys literally sound like you're dying in this.
I think one of Woolies' dreads was slowly burning through the duration of this video...
+XradicalD BUHNING!
13:48 My God! Turok has been eliminated from the Royal Rumble. Damn you HHH!
It's a strange new world we've entered. One full of weird dinoids and a strange swampland known as "The Woolz". God help us all.
I can smell the alcohol through the screen lmao
+Beny Matos they just got back from magfest, they arent drunk, theyre dying
+Trippersigs22 I think like magfest and comicon eventes must have a DECONTAMINATION CHAMBER before you enter ..it must have. ..FUCKING WASTELAND TOXIC GEEKS running around
Matt really hitting those high notes in this video.
so when you get yellow fever you also hear the drums?
Put so many hours into this back in the nineties.
Man, it was such a bitch collecting all the Chronoscepter pieces to find out it's almost impossible to hit the Campaigner with it.
Much more fun entering NTHGTHDGDCRTDTRK and going nuts on the wildlife with it.
Full LP please! This was my shitty childhood on N64.
Turok, oh the memories.
Look at this FUCKING VIDEOGAME!!!
The riffing in this full LP is absolutely stellar!
That spinning gun that did no damage was the "Particle Accelerator" and it's actually fucking sick. It turns regular enemies to stone, then makes them blow up. Doesn't work on bosses, though
I approve this message
So you're telling me that Turok hunted dinos for their white, hot, creamy body fluids, from a set of creatures that have no tits.
I dont think it's dino milk, but rather it is dino "milk", if you know what I mean
26:40 Did... did you Double-KO a T-Rex?
Wha... how...?
You know what? Time travel is stupid.
I had this on the nintendo 64 when i was a kid ily guys for this
Yo shooting people in the eyes and watching them suffer
that blew my mind as a six year old
*wha, whaaat ? that's some strong weed* you guys crack me up. What happened was that, you killed the T rex, but it killed you right after, so the game got confused, rofl.
25:39 did you just nuke the t-rex?-woolie 2016 10/10
Its more like Turok used the BFG from Doom
Both of their voices sounding real scratchy in this one. I'm guessing this was recorded within the past week?
+JackgarPrime right after Magfest
Benny Trinh
Yeah it definitely sounds like that.
+Benny Trinh It was on the plane ride back
Oh, man, the nostalgia. I like to call it my Second Wave of Nostalgia, because the first one was for games made when I was just little Nightweaver Jr. back in the late 1980s, but this era almost surpasses it.

Woolie seems pretty feisty for a guy with an annihilated throat.
They sound either tired, sick or drunk and i'll be disappointed if it's not all 3
Tal'Set in da house! When's Joshua Fireseed?
Plague? I know you're there Plague! Someone said dino tt's. I know you have been summoned. I'm a big fan of your work. That being said, turn this into the moving pictures. I will wait.
Dino tits... I've seen them.
Chronoscepter was always one of my favorite shooter weapons ever.
This game is so 80's good though.
Wow, watching Matt's inability to comprehend moving AND aiming at the same time really makes me appreciate all the LPs where he's not on the controls EVEN MORE than I already did.
2:59
'Dat Chief Thunder line, though. XD
20:45 Is matt crying or is his voice going to be screwed u for about a month again
I wish it showed them playing the game more & it's hilarious when they died at the Thunder T Rex because they drained the last of its health just as they were dying too so it had that really awkward cutscene. The winner will receive hollow promises and disappointing Fisticuffs videos!
Nope
+Chris Merkel Studios I hear that shit. Soon we gotta push "When's 2nd Encore?" too. Maybe then the prizes won't be so hollow.
+Chris Merkel Studios I think you mean hollow promises and THE BEST FISTICUFFS VIDEO OF ALL TIME.
+Adrian Beaky No, not really
blazerj21 No, but shut up. Bad mic audio, commentary that boils down to "but it's not as good as muh Guilty Gear tho", no gameplay footage (not even switching over to Third Strike so there would at least be *some* content). Clearly there is no way to top the quality of the Blazblue video.
You know, I have to say I like Matt's voice when he's kinda hoarse and cracking. It's so dynamic and not tired sounding.
The fact that both Woolie and Matt are horse throughout this play through some how make it funnier and huskier.
This episode of Best Friends Play is brought to you by the letters 4 and 20.
love you guys playing this game
Woolie got so hype his throat started hurting.
+ghostfear2011 Why does he cough everytime he laughs
+AfroMetalMizu Con sickness.
+globox123456789 Hey man, Uber drivers need love too and he's willing to provide it for rides.
Asagi Igawa We should go to Magfest sometime
+Asagi Igawa Must be a taxi driver.
31:45 my god I am laughing so hard from that "devil may cry" the way he said it and those axplosions made it such a diamond XD
this is cool and all, but when are we getting a turok 2 full lp?
+Tohru Adachi well I mean turok 2 is getting a steam release too
Turok 2 was the best multiplayer ever.
+numo97 I do remember that. on a slightly less related topic, whats the general consensus on turok 3?
Tohru Adachi There was a 3rd Turok? Or is 3 the new one?
there was a third one for the N64. it was called Turok shadows of evil or oblivion or something
omg cranky or plague PLEASE make this into a cartoon! you know what parts to use!
One of the funniest videos in a long while
Better late than never to saying this, but man, does it make me happy that "where are we going??" "dum da duum" has become a SBFP meme. I've been saying it randomly for a decade, and I finally feel vindicated.
+MetroAndroid I second this
I hope one day these guys play this PSX Game called Wild 9 i remember it being pretty sick and it was pretty dumb also
Everytime woolie says "they had a plan" I think of battlestar galactica
They joke about worshiping triangles, but that's pretty much the entire point of the Zelda series
Holy fuck, I know the entire first level of this by heart. My step-dad bought this game for my older brother when he turned 7 and we played the SHIT out of it for years. Feel free to make as many assumptions about my family from that statement.
They changed the name of the Washington team lol
i loooove Turok. played it all the time on N64 back in the day
i remember playing turok 2 with some friends of mine. we were always playing online, fooling with other players by using text to speach. it was hilarious to hear microsoft sam recite a quote from shakespear as you t-bag your opponent
already played this game in 1997, when i was 8!! will listen though, Turok 1&2 were good games
Out of all the games I never thought I'd see again, Turok was pretty freaking high on the list.
I still dig Turok. It's a bit funky now, but it's still pretty cool.
worried of a bit of electrified water, jumps in lava willingly
FUCKIN' LOVED THIS GAME ON THE '64. Best part in hindsight is that my grandma is the one who bought it for me as a birthday present when I was a child.
+Archmortal Your grandma is way cool (and/or enjoys hunting n killing dinosaurs)
is spiritual invincibility a new thing? I don't remember that bullet time stuff when I played on the n 64
Plague of Gripes once bottlefed a kitten. That's basically breastfeeding a raptor. Right?
Oh come on, Matt. The pickup sound effect is so damn satisfying to me. Could that be nostalgia talking?
Remember to name your dead Turok baby's grave Shadowman
16:08 Matt, what are you doing? Girls are watching, Matt.
only Turok and the monkey god survived this video. 31:30 AWESOME ending!
Turok is Amazing, this LP is AMAZING!
Turok 2 full LP next, please.
The N64 version actually did have those cloud effects. It's not as big a deal here, but it's really jarring in Turok 2 if you regularly played the N64 version.
If you think about it they're playing Killer Instinct.
Diego Brando approves.
