Sehunnie just announced he is enlisting on December 21! 😭 The last of our members to do so, we knew it was coming… but still 😭 Fyi he is enlisting as public service officer (he had back surgery last year and certain physical conditions and prior injuries make you exempt from serving as an active duty soldier). As such his service will be longer, like Kai’s (who has slip discs other back injuries as well 😭), because they don’t live full time at the barracks. They get to go home daily after work and on the weekends. Kai will be out February 2025 and Sehun September 2025. A whole 2024 without SeKai leaves Exo as a group of 5’8”- 5’9” men and 1 freakishly gigantic Chanyeol 😂
PS the Baekhyun move here is like an underhand version of Sehun’s overhead fishing rod move in Cream. Soda 😂

Blooming days was base on Alice in wonderland
The funky vibes in this are very similar to some of Exo’s title tracks that you haven’t seen yet like Lucky one, love me right and call me baby. It’s quite a different side to Exo than you’ve seen so far and some of their best songs.
In EXO-CBX's "Blooming Day", as you noticed, throughout the MV CBX are surrounded by flowers. The song is called "Blooming Day" so the flowers are part of the theme, but fan theories also point to the fact that flowers play a prominent role in EXO's storyline as well. In the majority of EXO's MVs, and even in some of their live performances, you see flowers. It is thought that EXO may be collecting flowers because they will help them in their quest or they want to prevent the Red Force from using the flowers for evil.
What you see them blending up is thought to be flowers. In EXOs "Love Me Right" MV we see Xiumin mixing a potion of some kind and that is also thought to be made of flowers, so we think this is somehow connected to the purple liquid you see him mixing in "Blooming Day" -- although I am still not sure what the potion will be used for. Also, if you notice, the liquid is purple, and usually when you see purple this represents an instance where the line between the Red Force and EXO are blurred -- red represents the Red Force and Blue represents EXO -- red and blue mixed together make purple.
Some theories think that maybe Xiumin and Baekhyun are suspicious of Chen, that is why they seem to be trying to stop him from leaving or doing whatever he is trying to do. For instance, you saw Baekhyun hit Chen in the back of the head with a marble using a slingshot, which looks as though he is trying to stop or prevent Chen from doing something. Some think maybe Chen is a spy that has been brainwashed by the Red Force -- or maybe he is his evil X-EXO clone -- and Xiumin and Baekhyun are starting to suspect him. But others think that maybe it's Chen who is the good guy and Xiumin and Baekhyun are acting as pawns in the Red Forces' game.
However, my theory is that it is more likely that Baekhyun is the one with good intentions, because as evidenced in "Power," "Tempo," "Love Shot," and "Monster", etc. it looks as though Baekhyun may have been one of the members who has been able to avoid being controlled by the Red Force. We see Baekhyun singled out and involved in efforts to help EXO in multiple situations throughout EXO's storyline.
We also see Xiumin with a key, and some theories say that is the key to unlock the door to another dimension or to release them from this room they are trapped in. It is thought that EXO are traveling through time periods and between dimensions in their search for the Tree of Life. And as part of their mission, they are also trying to fix and prevent the Red Force from corrupting humanity and destroying the planet. So, because of this, the Red Force is trying to prevent EXO from being able to accomplish their goals by trapping them or controlling them or putting roadblocks in their way, etc.
In "Blooming Day" CBX could be trapped in another room within the Red Forces' maze like we see in EXO's "Overdose," "Lucky One," and "For Life" MVs, etc. And they are all slowly coming out of the fog that the Red Force put them in, which allowed them to be captured in the first place. For example in "Tempo" we see some of the members just lazily sitting around, kind of staring off into space, like they are in a trance, which is thought to be because they have been trapped in the maze for so long their minds have become clouded by the Red Force.
However, if you notice, in "Blooming Day" the room that they are in is pure white (the main colors you see are created by colored lights, not paint), and some theories think that white rooms are an indication that EXO are starting to gain back control. In the beginning of EXO's "Overdose" MV, we see that the maze is dark and grey and the members are unable to fight back because the Red Force has done something to dull their senses and cloud their minds. However, throughout their MVs you start to see EXO fighting back and conquering obstacles as the rooms and environments go from grey to white. So, Baekhyun hitting Chen in the head with the marble, could also be his way of knocking some sense into Chen and bringing him out of the fog the Red Force has had them trapped in.
The cat that you see in this MV is also an important part of EXO's storyline. At different times a cat is thought to represent EXO-Ls or the heart of the Tree of Life. We see a cat, which is thought to represent EXO-Ls in their "Power" MV. And there's a cat with an eye patch in EXO-CBX's "Crush U" MV, which theories say could possibly be the spirit of the heart of the Tree of Life. Cats also often have a place of honor and respect in a lot of monarchies and cultures throughout history. And EXO has been sent to Earth by a leader that they referred to as "Your Majesty," as we hear in "Mama." Therefore, it makes sense that the cat would have a place of honor in EXO's story, whether it represents us fans or the Tree of Life.
When it comes to EXO, absolutely everything down to the smallest detail is done for a very specific reason and it's all designed to give hidden messages and meaning and to help tell another piece of EXO's story. So even the most expert of fans who have really analyzed every detail with everything that EXO does, is still probably missing certain clues. You actually can never really over think anything in EXO's MVs, because if you think something means something, it probably does. There is never only one message being given in the story either, and it's never simple, so it's easy to miss things.
"Blooming Day" is part of EXO-CBX's Blooming Days album and there is one song for every day of the week. "Blooming Day" is Tuesday's song.
EXO are actually a heavy R&B group, but they're in the b-sides.

So, the key (which has a man in the moon face in the cutout center), is one of the many random things EXO-Ls have tracked down and sold out~ I think one of the members even brought this up, like saying "how do you do that?!" type of thing😂
It's gotten to the point that some members won't answer questions about things like what cologne they wear, specifically mentioning that they don't want fans to sell certain things out so they can't get any later.
Baekhyun is one of the major victims of this. He randomly shared a picture of something like a muffin he really enjoyed on a plate; and within hours EXO-Ls found the cafe & bought out a *lot* of the cafe for several days AND found the company that made the plate & bought those too! Baekhyun later shared he was sad because he couldn't get another muffin the next day and he was also shocked because the plate had been a gift from his mother and even he hadn't know where it came from😂 There was a livestream where Baekhyun had a box of tissues on his couch, and a fan jokingly commented that the tissues would sell out; Baekhyun jokingly swiped the box out the frame real fast^.^
Baekhyun, though, also actively shares things like what facial cleaners he uses and the like when fans ask~ He says he wants to share what knowledge he has about things like that because he has access to a lot of it. He just doesn't want fans to buy *all* the good muffins^.^

This album of CBX was really fun and unique which each track meant for a day of the week! Blooming Day was for Tuesday because in Korean it sounds like the word for Tuesday. I absolutely love all the tracks in this album!

From what I understand in CBX is that it's connected with Love Shot, Kokobop, Cream Soda and other songs that involve flower gathering and special drinks/elixirs. It seems those flowers are being used to create something.

Personally I feel like if Sehun wasnt apart of EXO or like if he wasn't a dancer in the group their is a very strong chance Baekhyun could be a lead dancer at least cause he truly is an amazing dancer, i'm pretty sure there was a time even Kai had spoken on Baekhyun's dancing and how good he is
