Born in 1969- I remembered many of these- some I didn't, but they could be way back in the memory archive where I just can't access. I think the 1970's were great!! I miss the old America that I grew up in.
I remember when a toy commercial would come on and my parents were around, one of us kids would be saying, "Mom Dad, see that, I want that for Christmas or my birthday." Just imagining we might get the toy was exciting. Loved this video waking up long ago memories.
Everything is so family oriented, and little kids are considered cute and adorable, not something noisy that disrupts your way of life. Makes me tearful.
Oopsie! I was watching happily, bathed in nostalgia (though many of these come from a bit past my prime as a toy consumer), when for some reason, I’d just had enough of one commercial or another. A creature of habit am I, and so I started looking for the “skip ad” button. Only after a wee bit of frustration did I remember that I was watching a full video of commercials, and on purpose. 🤣🤣🤣Times change, even if the fools living in them don’t, by much. LOL.
The little red haired kid in the Ivory Snow commercial is Mason Reese, the kid who was in those Underwood Deviled Ham "Borgasmord in a can" commercials.
My guess is that the Chills & Thrills ad was supposed to sound like Sympathy for the Devil by the Stones. And one of the screams was timed to quiet the fact that the announcer said "so f***king cold,"
King Vitaman cereal (33:38) is not too well remembered. It was basically Cap'n Crunch, except shaped like jagged little crowns that could tear up the roof of your mouth if you didn't let them soak in the milk long enough. That was Joe Flynn from McHale's Navy as King Vitaman, with Paul Frees as Sir Laff-It-Up and the voice of the narrator. I'm not sure who did the voice of the Not-So-Bright Knight.
Research indicates the King Vitaman ads were produced by the same people responsible for "Rocky & Bullwinkle," Bill Scott & Jay Ward. Scott was also the voice of Bullwinkle, and Not-So-Bright Knight kind of sounds like Bullwinkle, so there is a chance it was him.
It's not all 70s, I noticed there is some 60's and 80's commercials mixed in here too. For example 0:59 the Chills and Thrills drink was only available for a short time during 1967 and 1968 and at 9:04 you have a commercial for Eagle automobiles which did not exist until 1988.
Yup - Fred tickles him under the chin and it makes Dino shit. Damnedest thing you ever saw...I'd have figured he would've shit out Cocoa Pebbles, but whatever...
Those were great years. And one of the things that made commercial so good back then as they never had gays or race mixing in them and very few blacks at all. A far cry from today's perverted commercials that millions of us refuse to watch.
Id like to buy the world a coke....pretty much the only one i remember. Except for the Indian crying about trash (not shown). Neither did any good for our society.
(Revelation 20:11-15)And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:11-15)
6:31 A song I hadn't heard in 45 years.....and yet it comes right back to me like it was yesterday. The mind is an amazing thing!

Watching these commercials seems like a lifetime ago ~ oh wait, IT WAS A LIFETIME AGO.
The little red haired kid in the Ivory Snow commercial is Mason Reese, the kid who was in those Underwood Deviled Ham "Borgasmord in a can" commercials.
Excellent USA 1970's commercials!!
That’s a nice trip down memory lane! Thanks for sharing!
Great posting. Thank you. Very nice to watch the original content without poster's narration.
At 2:39 in that Sara Lee commercial, you get a glimpse of the guy who played Aldo Cella in those "Chill a Cella" wine commercials from the '80s.
Great old days
Truly loved those days
What happened now 😢
My guess is that the Chills & Thrills ad was supposed to sound like Sympathy for the Devil by the Stones. And one of the screams was timed to quiet the fact that the announcer said "so f***king cold,"
Get your hearing checked....he clearly says "so THICK and cold" 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
@@laurakibben4147 Sorry my stupidity offended you. You know, there are ways of telling someone they're wrong without being insulting. Try it sometime.
That Terron action figure is cool, ha.
I am shocked funny! Unreal incredible and so watchable
Although I do miss those times, I wouldn't want to go back because then I'd have to relive everything. Plus look at how society turned out.

I love these commercials……makes me feel nostalgic. I still have all the Looney Toon glasses from Hardee’s…..wonder if they have any value
Just great! Thank you!

UA-cam: Oh hey, we have commercials too! Let us show you s-
Me: No fugg off >:(
At 8:03 in that Zest commercial, you have actor Ron Masak. Sadly, he passed away just two days ago, on 10/20/2022. ✞
Chills and thrills? WTF?!! haha. I'm in shock I never heard or saw this product before.
It was so happy and human Today’s all about the ratcial face and computer application with completely empty messages

@ 7:54 - Patrick Cronin, who would play Sid Farkus on Seinfeld, helping George sell bras.
Whoa!! Random !!! watching this on April 15, 2022, Fried-A before Easter, Ishtar. look it up
I love Light Bright.
Their jingle is addictive
ginger at 7:09 is the apparently kid
OMG I love that kid!
Was Dino pooping Fruity Pebbles? 😄
Yup - Fred tickles him under the chin and it makes Dino shit. Damnedest thing you ever saw...I'd have figured he would've shit out Cocoa Pebbles, but whatever...
LOL ! Did I just see babies riding horses at 42 min ? What could possibly go wrong ?
Sandy’s restaurants were purchased by Hardee’s in 1979
I think I spotted Corey Feldman in a couple of these.
The Chills and Thrills music reminds of the Rolling Stones Sympathy for the Devil.
Why are there bars on Freds factory windows?
What, you've never held a job?
@@RobMacKendrick
Not where they had bars on the windows. Thats called Prison.
@@Eric-sn4qz whoosh!
13:36 - Sandy’s would be bought out / merge with Hardee’s during the 70s.
19:54 hoarding the toilet paper!!!! lol

I was born in 1969, and I only remember some. It was a LONG time ago....
@ 10:34 - Judy Graubart
So Fruity Pebbles are Dino poop?
They gave me colored poops.
32:13 it's one fine son who takes his parents out to eat -- _at Hardees._ 🤢

@31:28. You missed a black kid. A fat one even!
Shame on you.
25:42
33:07 - Jack Hallett.
The only time a commercial could sing "suck em slow or suck em fast" and not have something nasty made from it...
"Chills & Thrills" seems like an invitation to tumors.
Brain freeze is more like it
Did they silence out him saying so F'ING cold???
@@claycarpenter8625 it tastes like Italian ice. Pretty good stuff
Wow.
God every 5 seconfs you run commercials
I don’t remember most of these commercials.
Probably because like most of us, we were outside playing and exploring and ding dong ditching!😆😆 All day long!!
Find the Chuck e cheese one
Daddy's Chips.. Great!
All junk food. Amazing we even lived to adulthood.
That's why we're all dying of cancer now. But we had a good run.
Cory Feldman. When he was normal

T' es platte avec tes histoires de bibles. Pas sa place icitte. Décalisse!
But what does that have to do with old TV commercials???
