Okay I have a question. You said application took two hours. So does the first section stay in bleach for the full two hours? Does bleach damage the hair more if left on for longer than an hour or does it just stop processing completely?

In her case , a mannequin hair after 2 hours with bleach and 1,9% developper some hairs will get damaged anyway. For a real person it depends what developper you are using and how dark her hair is. Let’s say you have a client with level 5 hair and you start in the back with bleach +1,9% developper, it can stay for 2 hours without damage. But as you work your way towards sides and top you have to increase developper to be able to wash all your foils at once. If starting with 6% dev. from the back you might want to keep checking your foils and wash the back first

carendestiny 20 vol upward will lift and therefore damage the hair, never leave on for more than the directions state, always always always read the directions and never guess. Bleach WILL fry your hair and snap it if you're careless.

Not on this doll, but I do that on human hair if the ends have been previously lightened

1.9%. But it doesn’t matter. You should use whatever you need for the hair you are working on.
