Although it takes longer and needs a little bit of travelling, my favorite way to make money in the early game is to do the Chumps on the River archery competition at Ledetchko. From 8 O'clock to about nightfall, you can make between 1000 to 1300 groschen per day if you bet the maximum (50 groschen will reward you 150) and it also quickly level up your archery which is useful throughout the game. After one day, you reach about lvl 8 in archery starting from 0. It pays less than the conventional competitions in cities, but it gives more xp each time and the competitors are way worse and it is much less stressful for new players. You can take your time to aim and if you do about 15 hits out of 20, you are almost garanteed to win as even the better competitor will rarely get more than 14 hits. They also glitch A LOT and stop shooting.
There's another place later in the story when you scout out the large bandit camp that is great for money and requires no glitches but seems almost like a glitch because some of the bandits and chests just randomly have like 40 or 50 swords and literally thousands and thousands of better long distance arrows along with a ton of extra armor You can either go about it stealthily or with a bow or if you're decent at combat just fight the whole camp, (easiest way for me is either funneling them into a tent or if the game randomly leaves the church tower door open you can funnel them into there. You can also apparently get on top of a cart there in the camp and just rain down arrows but I haven't tried that method) You can also stash the excess items into the chests there in camp and return later to get them if you don't wanna use the drunk blackout fast travel method. Though if you do stash them I found a handful of the swords and stuff would go missing.
Yes! That's Prybislavitz before you clear it out! 100 percent honesty that's usually the place I go to use this method. You wake up in Talmberg the same way as from Skalitz. I suggested Skalitz since the encounter a bit more manageable rather than killing 40 cumans and bandits but I love that spot and there's always the one bandit that walks around with 1.4k hunting arrows on him 🤣 next time you do it save up on blacksmith kits and you can pretty much max out your maintinence instantly repairing the 40 swords you retrieve. Love the tactic of funneling in a tent or on top of the tower! I usually just try to snipe them with a bow in the open as it gives me a way out in case they alert the whole camp but I'll have to try to get them bunched up one of these times! Great suggestion!
@@Griff_Gaming no problem, yeah I had a whole stack of bodies in the one corner tent lol, idk if the cumans respawn but the bandits do after a while You can also sleep in any of the beds to get rid of any bodies too, also useful to help potentially not get caught if stealthing. any loot you dropped on the ground should stay there even if you sleep though. Hell I found some arrows I fired during the scouting mission still there along with the loot I left in a chest after doing the actual attack and coming back to an empty camp lol And I'm playing on a launch version Xbox one, so it should all work fine on other platforms too
@baddragonite the whole camp does respawn but it takes a while, I wanna say about 10-14 in game days for everyone to come back, but it's so powerful to do it. Lots of great gear, weapons, stealth/combat xp (depending how you want to clear it) and after a couple runs the the cuman killer perk to make further encounters with them easier. All great stuff!
@@Griff_Gaming I actually had some bandits reappear just that same night in game, though not all so it may be on a real world timer or might've been a glitch on my part
@baddragonite could also be they ran away from the battle and eventually walked back? I've had some that flee when they see me kill a bunch and like 5 or 6 will be back later that same night
When you first leave skalitz and get to talmberg, before meeting the guards at the wall at night, is a great place to practice lock picking (if you got the picks from fritz in skalitz). The guards are all at that wall waiting for you and the cut scene. You can lock pick all the doors and chests around the castle as long as you stay away from the cut scene area. Then i noticed that when you escape talmberg to bury parents you can actually stay in the town of talmberg. If you don't go too far you can stay there forever without time advancing. You can buy the lodging there to get access to your box and you can load it up with stolen stuff to sell to Miller after you end up there. You can't sleep since time is frozen but you can buy a save by using the bath house if you run out of schnapps. I like to take some time there to farkle, drink, and steal. There's two areas of cow as well to work on strength and sell cooked beef. If you do happen to anger a guard you just have to run away into the cut scene that teleports you to rovna
There's def a LOT to do right in that area! All valid things to do fir sure. I also like to walk along the path to the huntsman and gather all the plants throughout the area. Levels up herbalism, strength (granted, VERY slowly) but I love Alchemy so the more ingredients I have early game, the better off I'll be in the future when crafting potions
I’m late on this video, just found your channel as I just got into the game. But if you have the Final Offer perk in Speech you can just haggle for the max amount possible then meet in the middle line. Sell the Vambraces one at a time if you want and increase your reputation with the merchant as you go and get better prices going forward
I heard going back n forth from skalitz is a good place to grab decent armour / loot early game, sell it to the inn keeper in talmberg etc, wait a day, let his worth go up , rinse n repeat and u can get money quicker that way, all without cheating too lol.
I wouldn't go to skalitz for loot early game just because enemies tend to be pretty high level. If you do want to go that route (loot enemies and hunting) I'd suggest going just outside Rattay to the west, make a left at the shrine, past the woodcutters camp making a right at the fork, and a small way down to the boar hunting spot. Kill as much boar as you can, head to Ledetchko just a short way away and there's a tavern, general goods store, and a butcher you can sell all the meat to there. Boar is a little harder to kill but larger targets and slower running away than rabbits or deer and the meat is worth MUCH more. Far as gear not far east of that boar hunting spot is a small bandit camp that respawns about every 10 days and a good random ambush area to farm as well, like you said, all without cheating
figured out an easier way just got up in rattay go to the amour chests up stairs pick all them there all extra hard just get luck of the drunk at six and drink and pick grab everything walk to the mill peshek's put everything in his chest wait four in game days boom 22k by the time the wait is done the amour restocked so just rinse and repeat i looked for four days for a vide before i found this method hope this helps
That poor bird is in for the shock of its life when it returns to its nest and instead of its eggs it find 41 shitty bows.
Subbed.
This made me laugh way harder than it should have 🤣🤣 thank you for the support!

Cool guide! I wish I saw this before starting my hardcore run
It's all good! This is more of a speed run strat. For normal runs, 2k won't make it break the run :)
I'm from Russia and I really admire your videos.
Thank you! I love making them!
