This is a fantastic "starting point" for this versatile armor setup. I wanted to give a guide that was recreatable for everyone on every playthrough. There are some better pieces (such as coif that is 13/13 vis con) but they require a bit of RNG to acquire. Any pieces you find with better stats feel free to replace, this just sets a great foundation! Enjoy!

I found an armor piece with zero sound for the slot that you left empty. It is called brown cotehardie. I found it during a tight spot mission during band of brothers. I returned for the loot after Henry split up with kuno and there was 7 enemies still alive. I looted it from one of their bodies. The vis/con is 38/38 and zero noise. I'm not sure how much this helps but I love your video and wanted to share what I found. Thanks

I'm actually stuck at Ulrich on my First playthrough bc I can't fight after not playing so long, so I decided to restart with a hardcore sneaky archer build lolwhich looks like I need to get this armor going asap
Not this game my only tip after who knows how long is your left hand knuckle is a handy reference point for aiming the bow that's about it and stay on your horse as much as you can and be a real bastard doing a shot gallop off regen and turn to get another still shot off then bolt and repeat aim for the head as much as possible
@@deadshot4245 combat stops being an issue when you realize that the Bane poison ingredients are some of the most common herbs, stays on the blade for hours and basically guarantees one hit kill
Stealth archer is always viable in an rpg but in this game so is being a "tank" with with or without good Armour. Basic plate or bandit gear is enough, alchemy plus masters strike will help in any close encounter:
Pop a Lazarus or chamomile potion (or both) pre combat
Use bucks blood and any other stat buff you like as well
Put bane on your weapons and honestly you don't need the best Armour or weapon.
Helpful perks: witcher from alchemy, thick blooded, clinch master, sprinter and the 7 mile boots perk together, add any other perk that boosts your weapon preferences
Maces destroy many opponents even without the alchemy adds.
One run I did an unarmed build to get merciful ach. Wouldn't mid seeing Griff's take on that!
It's on the agenda after the NPC run. Either fists only or bows only (no melee options avaliable). Probably put up a poll before doing it bc I would like to do both

Rq, could prob swap the gambeson with a budget dark tarred gambeson(or whatever its called, its a common bandit piece, its glitched or sum on un-updated deluxe edition and can give less then 30 noise with hauberk, coif, padded chausses, and a helm, while. It give zero noise with almost any shoes and pants if theiving, plus its dark so night stealing is easier, idk tho)

The most important stat is looking good. I always choose that over actual stats. I did the same thing with Bernard to damage leg items. I would hold the run button so I am not locked on, then jump as he swung at me. Another reason to ditch chainmail is that it's heavy. Equipped weight impacts your run speed.
I tend to go for armor that suits my build and play style over overall stats and armor rating. I like using a bow with my build which does no good if I have only plate mail, and can only ever shoot once at the start of an encounter. Being nimble is a huge factor too
@@Griff_Gaming just do as I do have 3 outfits one for trade one for robbing and lastly one for battle that way you can have a few play styles all at once also some perks are pretty pointless a few robbing perks are really not needed like you can earn money so easily if you're willing to kill and sell before I've even started any real main missions I already have most the best gear other than one of a kind weapons.... Although that's just how I play but I often just pick perks based on what will give me the most necessary thing mind you I become really op so if you are playing first play that might spoil it a little
I did the same, only cared about the look. Charisma is useless, I've never used this dialogue option if you have high strength or eloquence. And movespeed, it doesn't matter much. I'm at 29 speed with clothes and 24 with plate armor, it barely matters.
Speed makes a difference when sprinting. Honestly getting overwhelmed by several opponents with full plate and trying to get away to get to your horse or use your bow, being able to out run them even if only for a few seconds makes a big difference
@@Griff_Gaming I don't think 5 movement speed matters. I think I had 15 movespeed early game and it would be noticeable.
But right now with 24, I can sprint away to get enough distance for a thrusting attack without getting hit or blocked (they won't block if you attack with a weapon with long reach)
One really grate thing to know: The silent chausses is not just worn by black peter, but also by some bandits, INCLUDING THE DYING BANDIT NORTH OF BURNING NEUHOF (sorry for shouting, bt this was really nice to realise)

This looks almost exactly like my loadout on my first-ever playthrough. Good to know my instincts were good! One difference was that I wore the buttoned grey cotehardie, which goes in the chainmail slot but shouldn't make any noise with the perk loadout you selected. It's just clothing so it probably doesn't make a big difference to stats though.

To be able to get Theresa married and move with her to Pribyslavitz. Since she is so well trained bow assassin, no guards would have been needed there :D.
Your video is great btw. Always did runs with full plate armor, ringing in woods like a christmas carols. And now even managed to take down the camp site from your video with that "noble" thief, simply just by shooting poisoned arrows from distance, lol.

I enjoyed getting full plate and being a knight but I have to say my favoruite moments were mid game wearing clothing/medium armor. It felt more 'Henry'
I know what you mean. It's fun having full plate but something satisfying about that slow build going from peasant and advancing up

@@WikterRor2807 that’s not canon. There’s merciful achievement and there’s stealth killer achievement. You can play your Henry how you want the only canon thing is you still lose your sword

You can get some pretty awesome loot if you go back to skalets, I suggest people go back there on a horse use the mount and stab technique. There are quite a few bandits there but they do have some high-level gear to sell or to wear or show case

I usually used the tight black hose but recently have found the decorated to be worth the trade-off. Gotta be stylin'!

If you go for stealth, the tight black hose is the best. For most of the game charisma is quite overrated. I had to pass very few charisma checks and even those did not require much more than 13 or 14 points.
@@dschoene57 guards need about 15 charisma to be convinced to leave you alone. That's super useful until your speech or strength reach those numbers. An increase of maybe 3 or 4 visibility to get that charisma is worth it to me when I'm still well below 30.
@@TrialBySquire Just avoid crime early in the game or do it when you can do so with impunity. For instance, when you have finished the training with Bernard and reported to the Bailiff for patrolling the town, you are classified as a guard and the other guards won't bother you, so for the few hours before you have to meet nightingale you can carry stolen stuff by the truckload and no guard will bother you.

I beat the game on hardcore with all negative perks today. I learned how to master strike like a boss and ride across the whole map without ever looking at it. I just have to finish an illiterate, no killing, virgin run to 100% the achievements

I love this guide, been working towards this armour build. I took the Rainman stealth perk too cos the 30% less noise when raining is actually very underrated, given how much it actually rains when you head into the forests. I can sit in front of someone in the dark when raining, they alook right at me and cannto see me. I sit there and put arrows up nostrils without detection.

Regarding the stolen tags, if you have the coin, you can sell the stolen good to a fence and just buy them back at a mark up and remove the stolen tag.

Or just swap between plate armor and stealth armor. Also you can have around 14-18 charisma with plate set.

Seems a lot more convenient then two sets, the constant switching (and the every now and then accidental selling of one part xD). You put some real effort in this, well done!!

Lol, I put together an almost identical set when I played myself two years ago, I even remember how I tried on the coif of that guy from the arena. True, my set weighed less with a little less protection, and the helmet was different
I feel the bell shaped kettle hat overall the best especially in hardcore with all negatives perks. Highest protection of any helmet without a faceplate, low vis/con and can be made to have zero noise. I'd say easily in my top 3 fav helmets in the game. Not flashy but functional

Some of the gear has multiple variants. Do you have the right black hood and chausses? The black hood has 3 diff variants (the one you need has to be 6/12 vis con) and the chausses have a couple, the lighter one has higher vis con. It should have 0 noise for one you need. Same as the brigandine chausses, those have bunch of varients so double check that the stats on it are the same
@@Griff_Gaming thanks! I figure it out. It was the black hood. Seems you can only get it from black Peter when he ambushes you. I followed him after a tourney behind the arena where he went to sleep and was able to knock him out, but he had the bad version. My stats now match yours. Thanks for the great video.
@@Griff_Gaming oh also, any of the items that are marked stolen I sell to the miller and buy them back then just steal the money back from their chest. Removes the stolen status.
There's another variant of the brigandine that has very slightly lower vis/con and noise, you'll notice it has sort of burgundy colored leather straps.
I tried to make this with all gear that was in the same place each playthrough. This isn't "optimized" with the "best" gear for each slot but it's consistent. Anything better you find as loot drops throughout the playthrough feel free to replace
@@Griff_Gaming absolutely. I had no idea about the other brigandine until I just stumbled onto it randomly, thought I'd share it. With this brigandine it lets you wear the dark combat jacket without adding any more noise too

This is possibly the most enjoyable armor set up with 20 in all stats 0 noise and con
It's definately my favorite since I like using stealth, archery and melee seamlessly so this kind of minimizes the need to constantly switch loadout halfway through an encounter
I have been struggling with Runt because he has an entire roster of counter attacks, seemingly infinite stamina, and basically just combos me until I die. It became pretty obvious that I need to train more and get better gear. Because I can't even hardly hit him and when I do it just bounces off of his armor. I just started understanding combat and then it throws an enemy like Runt at me.
Patience is key with enemies like Runt. Make sure to go back to captain bernard and learn Master strikes. (He will have the option avaliable under training). It will allow you to counter enemies like Runt. On top of that you can always buff your own stats with potions that can help your stats. (Ones like "aqua vitalis" can help you take less damage and "bucks blood" gives you more stamina). I just recently posted an "NPC" challenge run and I beat him at level 4 without any armor solely by having my stats boosted by potions

True that "this is crazy", but still walking in a shining armor with the sword and shield is the best option for me :) Although there should be an option for "mocking shouts" to first try scare the bandits to avoid the fight. With mandatory option "Yeah, run you cowards" :D
Hopefully in the second game it'll let us not only interact with civilians but talk crap to the enemies too 🤣
U say it's optional but the Forester perk is a must for this build. That is the only perk I don't have & still have a vis/con in the 20s
You are right to get the vis con that low it is a must but it's conditional if you in a forrest, which granted most bandits bases are there. I meant to get vis con low, armor at a decent level while maintaining a noise stat of zero it's not a must but for the full build, you're right, it's essential

He can be tough to find and his bathing sometimes leads him to wierd places. At least you can get the pants elsewhere
There's another guy that walks the paths south behind Rattay, he has those Hose and he's very easy to knockout since it's so secluded

I actually gravitate to that every playthrough just switching to much secondary chestplate when Aachen gets too damaged.
As long as you carry a couple small repair kits with you it's easy enough to maintain the gear to a decent level

In treasure map 3 is the dark brown brigandine the black one has more noise
Yeah, they both have the same name, but it's the dark brown variant in the chest. After the perk is applied after a repair they have the exact same noise and vis/con so either variant you have won't make a difference
7:28 if you go there at night, they’re all asleep except for a few on guard and when they go to bed they put their gear in a chest in the camp. So even if they wake up they aren’t wearing armor.

Awesome video, I only wish the timeline was separated for each piece of gear or set of gear if you can get multiple pieces doing a single thing. I keep needing to come back to it as I get more pieces to see if the piece I have is the correct one, and scrolling through that long "Pieces of gear needed" section takes a while 🙂
I thought for a while how to structure it but i appreciate the feedback. For multiple viewings it can def be confusing. I went back through and put timestamps in the description so you know where in the video each piece is so if you go back you can skip straight to it. Hopefully it helps!

when starting the game and arriving in talmberg, as soon as everyone is called out the castle at night, go into the left guard tower at the top, there will be exactly one person in the castle asleep and in the area. he has basically all the gear you need or at least a LOT of it
That's usually where I get most of it. I try to avoid "tutorial stuff" (everything before getting to Rattay) in these guides so it can be done at any point in the playthrough

I went into this bandit camp at night in stealth with 0/0/0 and still had to fight! 2 dead 3 alive, they did find the body, I reckon it was AI "pathing" always know how to find you. Just got unlucky I think.
The potions mixed with water though, that was game changer! That's some nice work mate, keep it up!
Yea I've had that where my stealth stats amazing and still get discovered. Worse at night since their pathing can see you while you physically can't see them so I feel for you.

I use this fo my robber knight build:
black chaperon (the bandit leader from the camp near Sasau has one)
padded coif (the 13/13 one)
noble's mail coif
dark combat jacket (high level bandits from skalitz)
dark milanese brigandine (not sure if it can be bought, but you also find that on skalitz bandits)
dark saxon gambeson
hunter's gloves
magdeburg plate pauldrons (high level bandits too)
noble's dark shoes
green nobleman's hose
no chainmail (too noisy) or leg armor (mostly useless, melee opponents don't target legs)
stealth stats (without forester perk but with stuffing + slim fit)
visibility:29
conspic. :34
noise: 0
It can reach 20 charisma easily with bathhouse buffs and flower power.
Somehow you can get 0 noise even with the magdeburg plate pauldrons.
You can swap them with cuman vambraces if you want to proc light armor perk, but they gives slightly worse vis/conspic/charisma stats (and dodge is kinda useless when you have riposte)

I'd say it's not like they don't see you. Rather, they see you as fellow bandit because of your total black look. Until you get too close to raise their suspicion.
I think the only part of the game the clothing matters in that way is Prybislavitz but hey, Role-playing so I'll take it lol

Currently in my second play through of kingdom Come. First time was on a Xbox one X , I liked it but 30 fps wasn’t very enjoyable.
A month ago I remember and decided to try on pc , since I have a maxed out pc build and it allows me to play it at very high fps.
This time I decided to make myself a “fantasy” “Isekai” build.
What does this means? I took the fighting related stats: strength , Defence ,Agility , Sword , Bow, Axes etc
And maxed them out using console commands , I also unlocked all available Perks for them since the beginning of the game using console commands.
On top of that I added 18k groschen to make sure I had more than enough to buy all the most expensive armour and weapons and out everything on me. I was overpowered and armed to my teeth.
And what I find curious , is that this made me fall in love with the game , because it wasn’t that enough. The game wasn’t that simple.
Even with the weakest bandits , I depended on my dog biting their legs , for me to hit them from behind and kill them.
I was thinking: this game’s combat most be broken , even with maxed out stats , I can barely handle peasants.
And I’m royally screwed when 2 or more actually armored soldiers attack me simultaneously.
So i researched combat tutorials on UA-cam and realized I had no clue of how the fighting system actually worked XD
I didn’t earned my stats , so I didn’t practiced and learned all the combos I unlocked with console commands.
And now I didn’t had anyone to teach me , because if I talk to them , they will tell me “me teach you? But you already know everything”
So I realized how ridiculously heavy my build was and made it agile , still on the heavy side , because I’m focused on a knight long sword build.
But I made it more mobile.
And then I learned all the Long sword combos.
Also learned to just swap to a good old mace when surrounded by several well armored bandits.
I also feel the game scales a bit with your level , because the amount of almost Kinightly armored bandits I find , is not normal for an otherwise ultra realistic game.
So long story short , it felt like I lived an actual short story with a moral behind it, where someone is granted superpowers , but it’s useless anyway for not knowing how to use them, so he has to put some work to actually get good.
Never decided to actually restart the game without unlocking skills , because it just doesn’t fits a person like me that has at best an hour to play in 1 day , maybe 3 -4 days a week.
It would take me almost half a year to have a half decent set of skills and armour. Getting on to grind for an hour and get off is not fun for me.
That’s why i always appreciate games having a easy/story mode. I’m no longer a teen that can sunk 80% of his days in a videogame. But sometimes it does gets boring how big the difference between normal and easy is.
I loved kingdom come this way.
Challenging in terms of having to know the gameplay to win fights , but I skipped the grinding part wich I hate
That's what appealed to me about the game honestly. As you play, it's not just your character that levels up but you as the player level up. Most rpgs just have that trope of if a skill is high then damage increases. This game gives you the tools to become great but without having the knowledge on how to use them, it's useless. My favorite is bow as an example. Even at level 20 you still have to have some semblance of how to aim it even with lower sway and a slight zoom. On top of that, if you level just that skill but don't have the right strength or agility req. you're essentially at level 1 still only able to use the weakest bows. I do know what you mean as far as sinking countless hours in a game and feeling like progression isn't fast enough. Even with all my time in it this was never a "I have a couple hours to play today so I can make great progress in the game" kind for me. This was always fire this game up on a Friday and your entire weekend melts away in a flash. I think the enemies do somewhat scale but it's also spawn points. Like if you go to Skalitz after the prologue at any point, even at level 1, all the enemies there will be extremely high level. I've also had a group of 3 peasants attack me while I'm in full plate armor, combat skills maxed out, St Georges Sword on my side, and the most expensive horse in the game (like you'd think they would know better). But no 2 playthroughs are exactly the same which I really do enjoy, makes each new challenge run make me actually think about the tools the game gives you to overcome them

@@lawyerlawyer1215 all good, I got most of the gist of what you meant. I love hearing about other peoples experiences when they first fire up the game. It's easy for me now to sit back and say "You just have to learn the game mechanics and 'get gud' at the game" but I'm almost 4k hours into it. At first I had all the same difficulties with encounters and didn't understand what I was doing wrong. It's a steep learning curve but once you overcome it, its rewarding in a way few games are because you feel like YOU actually accomplished something, not just the game giving you levels needlessly

I appreciate what you are saying and agree. The choices we made in real life affect our choices in how we play this game. The developers could not please us all and I hope they did not try. I played WOW (World of Warcraft) more than 10 years but as that bloom finally began to fade, I bought KCD as the most promising replacement. It has not disappointed. WOW was falling apart in terms of reward for effort and gratification for accomplishment. It pleases me that Henry has a steep learning curve and each improvement makes a perceptible difference.
Some aspects of KCD were just flat out too unpleasant to swallow. Such things are highly subjective, but most can be solved with mods because there were enough other players who felt a similar reaction. For example, I just was not going to trade in Pebbles like a used car. A mod gives Pebbles the best horse stats in game so I get to keep my faithful horsie and not deny myself the upgrade.
Novice Henry and the new player are both severely punished for mistakes and the game will sometimes lock up or crash. I have a save game mod so any lost game time is entirely on me. I cannot blame anything or anyone but myself and that I much prefer.
Then there is this business about Henry requiring not just sleep, but a designated bed. Are we playing KCD or musical chairs? Our lone hero routinely ventures deep into untamed forest. He hunts game and bandits and mysterious loot. Such men camp out under the stars. They do not scurry back to town for nappy time. Henry is a bumpkin, not a princess who dreads pumpkins. A mod allows Henry to pitch camp anywhere outside city limits, anywhere he can find some flat and unobstructed ground. He has a lean to, a bed roll, a cook pot over a camp fire, a tree stump seat, a lore book to save game, and his magic inventory chest. Such things are pure delight when you want to loot everything not nailed down in Pribyslavitz without plodding all the way to Talmberg. You'll be dead on your feet trying to lug 20,000 arrows and 200 swords. Neither would it feel good to take a pass on those.
thanks for the build. Awesome stuff (i still hate that forester perk is so broken). By the way: 8:01 Aachen Dark Brigandine armor: i found a second variant as well. Yours has 38/48 vis Cons and 42 noise. I found a 38/45 and 39 noise. I got it from knocking tourney participants while sleeping.
Awesome there are a couple variants (the brown and black one) for the aachen brigandine and surprisingly the brown one has the better stats. Fortunately after the maintinence perk is applied they are both equally as effective. Thank you and glad you like the build!
Playing with grand bacinet and long talberg waffenrock , cuz it is look cool.
I dont use heavy armor if you have skills you dont need heavy armor i use just leather armor with better dodge perk and its much better than full plate of course if i get hit its hurt much more but for master strike light armor is essencial. And very important is to choose weapon for combat if you fight guy with full plate better use hammer/axe if you fight light armored sword do the thing axes and maces take more stamina but you can execute easly skull crasher i think there is lot of hidden stats of weapons if i use mace or axe 6 out 10 attack perform skull crasher, if i was using sword it was like 2-3 attack sometimes none.
For sure that's a huge factor, this is my "general gameplay" armor set because it's good at everything but for bigger battles I'll typically go full plate armor only because it's chaotic and I've been hit from behind and one shot before. I personally like the axe because it has blunt and slash in one so another utilitary weapon that's pretty good at everything
@@Griff_Gaming Yes for bigger battles you dont use dodge so much its pointless when you fight bout 5-10 enemies plus archers one disadvantage of light armor arrows are your worst enemy one or two shots can kill you in full plate dont have to worry about arrows so use light armor if you sneak or fight with more agile warriors but in full battle when every one can stab you or shoot with an arrors full plate is better
Nice guide, thank you so much. Btw please do you know why golden spurs and the necklace are giving 1 charisma only after bath services? When those buff drops (full service & cut) charisma is not increased and it's better for me to unequip it. Visibility and conspic is even lower without those equiped.
They should give you a bump with each one. Could be because they have picked up some dirt. Try washing at a trough and see if that bumps up the charisma. Far as vis/con hit they are both high in that but this is a versatility build so it's meant to be a good all rounder as opposed to a min/max where you try to max out one part or another. If it works better for you without the necklace and spurs by all means feel free to exclude them

Just so you know. You can sell any stolen gear to the miller and then buy it back. That way you remove the stolen tag as you actually bought the thing.

You can't steal them from the millers chest because they still show up as stolen. You put them in the millers chest, BUY the items back then steal the money you spent. That way you have all your money and all stolen tags gone

There's several Aachen specific pieces! There's a gambeson, gauntlets, chausses, and the brigandine. Maybe for a playthrough get them all and role play as yourself wearing your city's pieces!

Love my Aachen brigandine! I have one that I looted off a bandit and it's a bit more sneaky than the standard version.
You weren't being attacked because of the low conspicuousness, the bandits thought you were another bandit.
I would ditch the dark hood, simple plate pauldrons and not bother with stealing anything. The robber baron you get the signet ring form also has a better necklace and already has the hosen.
Then for arm armour I simply choose better plate pauldrons or aachen brigandine pop the quietest mail on I could find maybe also use the Milanese brigandine for main armour.
Going full brigandine and eschewing gauntlets for gloves and mail you can get better chest and arm protection, passive charisma and still keep stealth stats really low/good. Just personal preference though, I think your build is a better for a criminal career. Axe and shield was a very practical choice too I might say.

Some of these items can actually be collected early in the game. The mail coif for instance can be nicked off one of the two cumans you run into when going to hunt with Hans Capon. The padded black coif can be nicked off the bandit right next to the gate of Skalitz when you go back to bury your parents during the prologue. The dark padded chausses are easier to get from the two bandits in the woods when you investigate the attack on Neuhof. There's also an easy way to get the Aachen dark brigandine very early. When Robard wakes you up in Talmberg during the Prologue, don't go straight to the Battlements. There is a single soldier sleeping in the left tower that you can choke and nick the Brigandine off. Later in the game I would also substitute the short brigandines for the dark variant of the Saxon composite brigandines. Better protection with practically no loss of stealth. Quite a few bandits in the Pribyslavitz camp carry those. As for a helmet, you can switch the kettle helmet for a Cuman shishak if you fancy more protection at a minimum loss of stealth.
That black peter guy wasnt so tough in my game. Hes just very good with his blocking, with the clinch master perk you can bully the shit out of him
I wasn't that high of a level and my armor and weapon was pretty trash. Little tougher when every hit he lands has a 90% chance to inflict poison. I've had easier fights against him, that just happened to be one of the playthroughs it was tougher
Im following the guide rn and I noticed that the "Simple plate pauldrons" have 74 noise instead of 66. All other stats are the same. I assume the info on the wiki is incorrect.
You would be correct. The wiki page has the wrong stats. However the 74 noise are the correct ones

Chainmail maybe noisy, it is definitely great to keep on hand due to its protective nature so if you are going into combat and need additional protection, put on the chainmail.
Stealth maybe clunky but it is very viable, but one aspect one should know is that despite having a sword, its ideal to have a mace/hammer on your side.
I'll usually keep it on my horse for bigger encounters where things are a bit more hectic but for the most part the noise and movement speed penalty not worth it for me to wear it all the time
@@Griff_Gaming I fully agree, its just one of those things that is always a case of to have it and not need it, because that layer can help in active combat, but like you said, if open combat is not an interest, don't bother.

It's tempting for sure! In RPG's especially its so easy to min-max there's no incentive not to do it. Until I started doing these challenge runs that force me into a different playstyle I was always fully decked out by the midgame too

After watching your channel i've start play game again but on hardcore mode and you know what in hunting quest i mahage to hunt more rabbits than on normal i have to observe environments to not get lost in forest and this is beautyful in combat a care more about avoiding attacks when is more than 3 enemies i run. No shame for run irl you can be dead 1vs2 if i know i will be fighting with archers a have heavy armor set on my horse and this really start to be immersive.

I wonder what the total result would be to swap out Black hood with the black Monk's habit. The habit has 15/13 Vis/Con and only 2 Charisma but with dark gloves and shoes, Henry is shrouded head to toe with only his face exposed. The NPC make frequent remarks that he needs to return to the monastery, but while that gets annoying, I haven't seen where it makes any difference to the gameplay.
You're more than welcome to try. I've said this guide was just meant to be repeatable and a good place to start across any playthrough. Anything you pick up along the way feel free to experiment with! Always happy to see it improved upon
I also use 0 noise armor set. Though there are some different pieces. I like the look of skull cap and saxon chausses paired with slippers more.
Its just so fun shooting heavily armored knights with bane poisoned arrows inside a forest. They drop like flies and they can't even find you. 😂

Nice. Probably the dark brown varient. Once it's repaired I think it'll still give a noise raring of zero overall and I couldn't find anywhere to get that variant consistently. The focus of this was to try to get gear together from places it could be gathered 100% of the time rather than luck or chance but if you find anything better in loot runs or off bandits by all means feel free to make replacements!
If you use the ring from the besmirched quest you can bring your vis/con/noise down to 0/4/0. Your charisma might be 18 or 19.

It can be got as a random drop from low to mid level bandits, I think most bandits you hunt for Bernard in the side quest ruin will have a variant of it

you can pretty much skip leg armour alltogether since you basically never get hit there
It's rare but polearms can tend to hit there if they attack from the bottom and archers tend to hit arrows there, especially if in an elevated position from the shooter. Better safe than sorry
Idk plate pauldrons have the same name but it has higher noise lvl , a bought some leather blackened ones instead
Don't focus on the noise values before repairing them. The pieces stack in a way that will still give you zero noise at the end of the repairs

@DarkOne_666 yeah the BIGGEST thing with getting this build started is maintinece perk stuffing. That gets your noise to zero AFTER you repair all the pieces that go with the build

For these stats, no, it has to be the specific pieces listed. I'll usually use this set for general gameplay and switch over to House of Zoul for large scale battles where noise and mobility matter less than being tanky
Hello Griff, I have followed this guide now and I still have 5 noise. I dont know what im missing 😅 any advice?
I would say make sure you have nothing in your chainmail slot (sometimes I've left chainmail on by accident) make sure the pieces with multiple variants are the correct ones (padded chausses, padded coif, and brigandine chausses have multiple variants and sometimes don't react correctly to the stuffing perk) and lastly make sure each piece you're wearing has been repaired by you. Even if they start at 100 they have to be damaged and repaired by a kit before the perk works. This also goes true if any are repaired down the line by shopkeepers, it'll lose the perk. That's all I can think of that's not allowing zero noise

From what I remember you can either get them off black peter and I think at the skalitz silver yard there should be at least 1 bandit that constantly spawns with them. Otherwise do a couple of Bernard's ruin quests and inevitable one of those bandits should have them

It’s not the absolute best defense wise or any good at stealth, but it does carry a nice charisma buff and just look really cool.
Biggest downside is really just that it can be expensive. I don’t know if any of the plate here actually drops naturally besides treasure chests, so they may need to be bought from a high end blacksmith.
Great looking setup! I have several I use, this one is just that "one stop shop" if you will for versatility. One I use all the time for "Traveling Merchant" (the one I wear to go and trade between various towns but gives some protection for ambushes)
