2024/05/21 - Several House Finches visiting throughout a spring day that ends with rainfall

The birds get a free bath later in the day. Well, the birds that made it to the feeder anyway. Some of the House Finches that show up are completely soaked. The females are somewhat difficult to identify when soaking wet. Thankfully the squirrels were kind enough to leave the birds a bit of seed to eat. The seed lasts much longer when peanuts are taken away. No peanuts means the Nuthatches and Woodpeckers will be no more. 😏 A Chipping Sparrow managed to make a cameo in this compilation. That rain was nasty! We got at least 2 inches or more. I actually was driving to Monticello in it
