Channel content uploads began in March of 2022. Please make yourself at home and have a look around. Hopefully you find something enjoyable. The initial thought was to capture random wildlife around my townhome here in Eagan Minnesota, USA by using inexpensive V3 WYZE cams.
In April of 2022, I purchased my first quadcopter. Knowing current laws insist drones remain within visual line of sight, I decided to go with a DJI Mini SE. I received the drone April 28. Then on May 11, I applied for the Remote Pilot - Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) certificate through the FAA. After going the self paced study route for about two weeks, I nearly aced the exam. This new found licensed knowledge has brought me much joy. I hope these videos do the same for you.
Being a "part -107" certified remote pilot ensures I follow the rules while still having a lot of fun. When it comes to when and where to fly, I now have the utmost confidence on how to safely proceed.

2024/09/07 - DJI Air 2S | new FedEx Warehouse | Litchi virtual joystick mission 102nd flight
This Litchi mission was launched at 6:05pm local time. It was a nice cool evening with very little wind. The low temperature last night was enough to knock down a lot of the flying insects, which made it great for flying. We have had quite a bit of rain up to this point. Keeping most of the grass nice and green.
If the construction crews are on schedule, this facility should be opening up within the next few months. Clearly they are still staging things on the concrete slabs to the north. I suspect that they are still building the conveyer belt system inside of the building.
I am surprised to see the portable bathrooms throughout the outside of the building. There has to be running water inside by now. Maybe they just do not want to be cleaning the restrooms inside all of the time?
Hopefully you enjoyed this video. If so, please hit it with a like, leave a comment, and consider subscribing. Thank you for watching.

This mission was launched at 6:10pm local time. The wind at ground level was out of the west around 8mph. It was definitely blowing and gusting closer to 20mph at altitude. It has been more than a month since flying this property. We now know exactly how many bays or loading docks this facility has. According to the newly painted numbers at the end of each bay, there are 210 bays. Someday there...

It is official, the Squirrels have won the battle. They are exhausting and I no longer have the will to fight them. Yep, I am flying the white flag. After the final Squirrel visit in this video, the feeder was taken down. It may go back up again at some point, but for the foreseeable future, it is time to move on. A HUGE thank you to all of the subscribers to this channel. I appreciate you comi...

It is great to see the House Finches starting to come around again. They did not care for the hot pepper seed one bit. Unfortunately, today will the the last day I post any bird videos for the foreseeable future. My next video is the root cause of this decision. I am sure for those that have been following, they already know the reason. Hopefully you enjoyed this video. If so, please hit it wit...

It has been great having a Blue Jay finally figure out how to snatch peanuts from the seed catch tray. The feeder has been hung for over two years now. It took the Blue Jays that long to figure it out. Talk about a slow persistent learner. Hopefully you enjoyed this video. If so, please hit it with a like, leave a comment, and consider subscribing. The Chipping Sparrows have become one of the most frequent visitors to the feeder. They are also the smallest bird to visit the feeder. They seem to be very kind to other species. However, not all of the other species are kind to them. I think these Sparrows just might be at the bottom of the pecking order. A female House Finch also makes an appearance within this compilation. These little Chickadees are very cute little birds. They are not much bigger than the Chipping Sparrows that visits, but are far higher in the pecking order. These Chickadees are one of the most acrobatic birds to visit the feeder. They probably only take a back seat to the nuthatches when it comes to acrobatic abilities. Hopefully you enjoyed this video. It has been awhile since I have flown this mission with the Mini SE. I figured it was a good evening for it. Yikes, all of the rain has resulted in lots of mosquitos and gnats. It was worth it though. This mission was launched at 8:10pm local time. It was 68° F with a very mild breeze blowing towards the south. The humidity was about 90%, which is likely another reason the bugs were buggin' in ...

As you can see in this dealership provided video, the large bundle of wires was routed by the factory in such a way that they rubbed against a frame rail. I find it so fascinating that birds will never eat to the point of becoming obese. They just eat what they need even when there is lots and lots of food available. I suppose most wildlife is like this? The Cardinal could care less about the little Sparrow and leaves it alone. The Sparrows used to always fly off when another bird landed, but apparently they are getting more and more brave. 😊 Hop...

That is so huge. Do you know how many it will employ?
Great question. Unfortunately, I am not able to find a good answer. I would guess hundreds, but maybe thousands. Nowadays many that load and unload trucks are forced to work part time due to the physical nature of the job. I know that was the case when I worked for UPS for 6-months in the early 90's. I quit the same month that I made it into the union because they could/would not give me more than 20-something hours a week.
Great views all-around as always, Schultz. Also again, sorry to hear about your squirrel problem, at least you got the handy DJI to keep you occupied. Cheers.
Thanks 👍
Nice feeder . keeps a lot of the slop still able to enjoy
Thank you for the views, likes, and wonderful compliment. Maybe someday I will start feeding the birds again...
Cousin Schultz ? Are you still around? This is August Tuesday 6, 2024. Is there going to be more Video Coverage?
I am indeed still around. I became very frustrated with the squirrels invading the feeder. I might attempt to start feeding the birds again as I do miss them greatly. I just do not want to end up feeding squirrels. I may be sharing too much here, but I do not really care for squirrels much. Personally, I consider them tree rats and nothing more than just another rodent.
@@CousinSchultz Have you tried another set up that can have squirrel guards? I thought they have something like that? Need to redesign the feeding station?
I watch a lot of UA-cam Videos, which has made it hard to figure all the subscribers I am with is posting or not. At this time It just dawned on me. I haven't seen Cousin Schultz's Video's on my suggestion pages. What is going on? Now I'm finding out you Stopped a month ago. Wow! how that time flew. Well? I always see them daily, but UA-cam has had lots of other channel subscribers not showing either. I have a lot of them I follow. I watch live nesting channels on birds and the news stuff, but I was hoping you would continue? This is not great.
We had one here in Illinois, Havana first time see one up close we feed birds on are roof out living room windows ❤

Can you put another feeder up for her?
Unfortunately, the squirrels have won and I no longer have a bird feeder up. Thanks for your views, likes, and for taking the time to leave a comment.
Hallelujah, for 2 years I have had a bird I couldn't identify. It has been coming to my Oriole feeder eating the jelly. This is what he looks like. Mystery solved at last! ☺️
So glad I could help. Thanks for your views, likes, and for leaving a comment.
I have had both birds in my yard too. I love bird watching.
Me too! It is such a fun and very inexpensive hobby. Thanks for your views, likes, and for leaving a comment.
I would say "House finch couple from what I saw
Cruel
Nobody is forcing the squirrels to invade the feeder and steal food out of the mouths of our feathered friends. As an FYI, due to the squirrel invasion, the feeder has been taken down and this channel is no longer posting videos.

That's a shame to read. Good luck on your future journey in life🍀
Thank you! You too!
Its a shame. The birds have brought you so much joy. I did ask you to try removing the bottom tray - just to see if that worked.
I appreciate the suggestion. The feeder started out that way. The mess created on the ground was too much and created a mouse problem.
@@CousinSchultz Sunflower hearts and chips is loved by many birds and I read it doesn’t leave a mess. It’s considered a no mess bird food. The squirrels love it too but it may work if the bottom tray gets removed. Just a suggestion.
I'm glad to see they figured out how to get on there.
That is a bright red, usually they are brighter in winter

I had never seen a house finch till yesterday when my husband and I were outside and we were near the sunflowers 🌻 in the garden, they were eating the seeds off the dry ones 🥰❤️ it was the a few of them ❤

Wow, that's impressive. Thanks for all of the views.
They like to be first here, but have to fight the red squirrel
Thought I saw a squirrel on the ground!
Yeah, there are a bunch of them running around. Like I said, the neighborhood is infested. Fortunately the ones that were after the birdseed are now long gone. They now live at the wildlife preserve, about five miles from my house. 😁
Cute birbs ❤❤
Thank you, God is good!

What do you mean by getting caught?
I caught him at the feeder. When I started to open the sliding glass door it quickly took off. Thanks for your views, likes, and for taking time to leave a comment.
@@CousinSchultz Oh ok LoL. Great video!
Thank you. After relocating seven squirrels to a wildlife refuge about five miles from my house, I have not had any more of them at the feeder. Hopefully it takes another 2+ years before others are smart enough to gain access. 😊
