Aw, shucks, you're embarrassing me now! ;) Seriously, thanks for that. Make sure you check out my UA-cam channel, too. Lots of content on there nowadays... Heaps of tips, too.
Love my Nasci 2500. Used for Carp fishing mainly. The smooth and reliable drag makes it easy to relax on those long runs that the carp like. And enough cranking power in close to turn the head when need.
Good to see you on the (small?) screen again Steve. Love the pictures and your banter. Most beginners would probably like some more details so they could copy what they are seeing. Things like the location, time of year, time of day, rig to use, knots used, sinker size, species sought, specific baits / rigs / hooks per species, best part of tide to fish. Then they could give it a go themselves.
I remember learning these tricks while working for a man named Rudi from Thornleigh fish and Tackle in 1994 my first job 4 dollars an hour 3 am starts on Saturday and Sunday, i saw the salted pilchard and it brought back memories from Hornsby fishing club and working for Rudi the Dutch man.
The beach is so very clean. I love that, you are so lucky sir. You can fish in beauty place on earth. I Just hope one day i can be working in Aussie.😊 and i can meet with the people who loves nature. God bless sir.
Fishing is usually best at dusk or dawn when the sun is on the horizon. Pair that with a high tide and you have a good chance of catching. For me, wind direction and speed only matters when it affects my casting. A strong wind blowing against you will mean you won't even be able to cast
@@Kingy_200 too easy mate. May your rod be forever bent and the drag forever screaming. Have fun :) I have a Nasci 2500 also, for Carp. Great reel. The Shara rod it is on is great also. I also have a lightly heavier Shara rod and reel outfit which is also great to use on hard running, big fish.
2 things 1. I could spend hours and get nothing but the guy 200m away gets alot 2. I found a bunch of dead big torn apart mud crabs about 7 of then dose anyone know what happened
@@nathansoutbackfishing Congrats again on those lures. Steve taught me how to fish, from magazines back in the late 80s and early 90s lol. Never met the guy, but he has been my mentor for 30 years.

Reel shimano memang terbaik mancing ikan di laut👍👍🙏🙏🇮🇩🇮🇩
Great video, I was crushed when he lost the fish
What rod and reel was being used in the video? And did you use a trace?
with bait do i set hooks or let the fish get hooked them self
Not a bad idea to set the hook when you can feel the weight of the fish 👍
ok thanks so much@@ShimanoAustralia
Just started fishing and wondering what time to fish in relation to the tide? Also does tide height and wind speed and wind direction matter? TIA

Decent Kahawai!
Hey shimano, if you don’t mind. What editing software do you use because these videos are mint 👌

How do you dispatch and bleed a fish? Do you bleed it on the beach?
Yes bleed straight away then put in bucket or cooler.
