update, my feet DID START PEELING about one week after I used the treatment. I'd say they peeled to my satisfaction over the course of the following week. But the skin underneath is still tough in places, probably due to all of those tango years. Honestly, I'd do it again.
I was just about to recommend soaking feet every day until they peel (I just put the plug in when I have a shower so my feet get a soak whilst I’m showering 🤣. It definitely helped mine peel. When mine were really bad I did another peel 2 weeks after my feet had finished peeling and that was amazing, I felt like a new born afterwards lol x
Dr. Dray here on UA-cam recommended kerasal intensive foot repair instead of those foot masks. I used it, it’s good(considering I have never used those masks). she recommends it because a) less waste b) better ingredients and c) you get more treatments for lesser money.
I have incredibly calloused, rough feet (cracking, bleeding, generally a horror show), and the only thing that really helps those deep, thickened places is continuous manual and chemical exfoliation. 20% urea lotion is a must.
I gotta be honest, the red couch is REALLY doing it for me. Red is my power color so I’m definitely partial, but you look like an unbothered queen on her badass red throne 👑
I'm just here to say that I appreciate the level of sumptuous sticky-nest-bad-wig that your hair is at in the beginning of this video. Category is: Absolute Queen.
Omg!! I decluttered about 40 items from my collection this year and I feel so incredibly free not weighing myself down from feeling bad about not using everything!
I'm not sure if it works for all of those foot socks but the Footner ones recommend soaking your feet in water 5 days after you used it to accelerate the peeling. Maybe give it a try! I live for those socks. My feet always feel amazing after the peeling process. Your brows and bangs are everything in this video!! Hope you're keeping well during lockdown/quarantine!
Love your hair like this! People, don't forget to put on a good amount of sunscreen after you have used those peeling socks on your feet (if you expose your feet to the sun of course)... I learned the hard way.
I agree about the banana leaf print. Other tropical prints are meh, but there is something about banana leaves that instantly attracts me. I have a very beloved bikini top in a leaf-and-white version and my heart bleeds because after 4 years of service I am forced to let it go, it's just not in a state that I could wear in public anymore - and I hate shopping for swimsuits.
Thanks for recommending The Fifth Season in a past video. It's been on my shelf for quite some time, and I finally started in. HOLY MACARONI! I am about half way through and just gasping at how good it is...
The series only gets better! Imo each book was better than the last. My poor husband had to listen to me give him a detailed running reenactment of the plot the whole time I was reading them.
IT'S SO GOOD!!!!!!! And there's so much in those books that help readers of any background to connect with the inescapable anger and pain of living in a prejudiced society.
The UA-cam dermatologist Dr. Dray recommends the Kerasal intensive foot repair cream in place of those baby feet mask peel things. If you were looking for feet thingsssss. :)
Just an idea, I don't know if this works but maybe you could try using a exfoliating face mask on your feet? I don't know how much it would help but just thinking aloud here.
I have really dry skin. the yes to carrots night cream seemed to have good ingredients & really helped my skin fight the dry. Unfortunately, now it's harder to find. The yes to carrots face wash is really good too.
I just bought some face masks at TJ Maxx. I wanted to try the craze and see if it is worth it. I think I'm going to try the makeup forever concealer. I like what you said about the texture. Have you tried those feet detoxing tapes? They get dark in the morning. I can't decide whether they are a gimmick. Do they really detox your feet?
Definitely a gimmick. Basically it’s color changing paper. “Detoxing” really isn’t a thing, but especially not through the feet. Adam Ruins Everything did a good episode about the fears built up around toxins
That Yes To product the mask actually got pulled from stores and shelves due to some customers experiencing burning sensations and extreme redness and irritation due to the fruit acids because a lot of children and tweens were pulled towards it due to the packaging and the name and then their sensitive skin were reacting horribly!!!
I’ve been wanting to try a foot peel. It just sounds so satisfying, lol. At the start of the video I immediately looked up what you had on your lips. Onto my wishlist, lol! Thanks, girlie🍃🌸
10 hundred! I'm actually reading a Trollope novel - Can you Forgive Her - and he uses 10 hundred several times and I now find myself thinking about it! Ugh Grande Lash. I got sent a sample. Just not for me. And I love the Erin's Faces Peppermint Scrub, but because its in a tub, I go through it SO fast (my own self control issues with body scrubs).
Those kinds of foot peeling things are really popular here in Japan! They work best if you take a bath or at least soak your feet for a while every day after using it. That's what'll really get all the dead skin off. I tried it once without knowing that and nothing happened, then tried a year or so later, being intentional about the feet soaking part... Everythinggggg came off, including the tops of my feet. It makes a HUGE difference!

It helps to soak your feet before you treat your feet, AND every day until they start to peel!

I remember looking into them but I have been pregnant/breastfeeding since finding out about them years ago and you’re not supposed to use them

I feel like your hair becomes wilder and more majestic as time goes on. It's such a cool vibe!
"Wilder and more majestic as time goes on" is such a legitimate aspiration tbh.

I for one still love empties videos. Great resources in your notes!
Are you going to bring back Hannah Reads? I’d love to hear some of your favourite black poets!
I'm just here to say that I appreciate the level of sumptuous sticky-nest-bad-wig that your hair is at in the beginning of this video. Category is: Absolute Queen.
Oof the pop of blue from the pillow in contrast with the red couch is so appealing to my eyes!
Omg!! I decluttered about 40 items from my collection this year and I feel so incredibly free not weighing myself down from feeling bad about not using everything!
Hannah: I am going to get a littler overexposed a little bit in this video
Me: ok ready for the tea
Hannah: The sun is starting to set
Me: oh
:)
lol, literally me
Hannah and the red couch equal perfection!!! Love your hair would love to see hair diaries with your current length!!

Hannah, would you consider doing LIVE Make-up Playtime? I think it'd be really fun!!!

@@eikawithac I am so excited to have the rest of this series to look forward to! It's been a while since I have felt like this about a book.

Yes! This is the one I was going to recommend! I just can't with those single use mask type products. So much waste. 😢
I love the red sofa background ❤

I am so ready for Hannah’s video right now!😍😍😍

Excellent video - made me want to run off and jump in the bath LOL

I think the one that got pulled was the sheet mask (it came up when I was linking), but it's possible that the mud mask has similar ingredients!
What a nice way to spend my lunch break!

If you’re ever looking for a great mud mask for dry skin, try the Alaskan Glacial Mud mask in unscented. Great company, and product really works.

no body scrub stands a chance in my household
Lol a pulverized unicorn 😂
Soaking your feet for about 20min a day helps to get the peeling started! Dr Dray also had a great video about alternatives to the foot peels masks

I used a foot peel two summers ago and I swear my peeled all summer long into the fall! I guess my feet were extremely rough 🤣
💙💜💚💙💜💚💙💜💚
So I'm on my lunch break and decided to watch because of course I would and the first thing is a foot peel... just my luck
m☕
lol
