- Headed over the western Catskills for the weekend. Camped on a tiny wild brook trout stream with my girlfriend Alyson. Had a great time flyfishing for wild brook and brown trout despite some inclement weather.

@@deaddriftoutdoors2940 you can't stop what's coming. There's too many fly anglers that want this content for you to not blow up hahaha. Do you mind if I ask what camera set ups you're running? I used to have a UA-cam Channel with around 2k subs but quit the hobby it was involved in because of how toxic it was and would like to get back into the video making game. I have a Hero 7 and a DSLR with several lenses sitting around doing nothing haha.

Yes she is seriously a trooper, she never complains and never wants to stop lol! Mostly I am the one who eventually says its time to turn around and go home lol!

Looks like Memorial Day weekend will be the next trip up for me.

Nice production!! It’s a shame about the dog being loose and a bad dog owner!!! That’s one of the reasons why I weight my chest pack down with a pistol, ya just never know what you’re going to run into that might threaten your life..
Yeah they were camped on public land and I was going to give them a heads up that we were going to be fishing up behind their campsite but it was a BAD experience the dog was super aggressive and the owner not very helpful. Thanks for watching and commenting!
how far are these pools from you that you are casting into?
I try to stay as far back as possible especially when the water is low as these wild trout can be super spooky. It makes the drift tough sometimes but I have spooked so many trout getting too close. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Nope it is all state forest. I started at the border which is clearly marked. You must have the wrong stream.
