The ART of woodturning : Circular cutting for INTERESTING results👍

Surprising!! In this video, I'm going to show you how I created a unique piece of art with a spectacular effect using a circular cutting technique. This interesting technique opens up a wide range of possibilities and offers many potential ideas for creating captivating projects. Get ready to discover this type of technique that blends geometry and fantasy. 🌟
🔍 Inspired by nature, this idea came to me to create elegant, geometric, and whimsical patterns for a modern and sophisticated look. It involves creating a wooden mold that will be kept in the final product, into which resin, wood, or any other material can be inserted.
⭐️ Circular Cutting: After extensively using this technique to create artworks, I decided to share it with you.
📦 Necessary Materials and Tools:
High-quality wood (walnut, maple, here I'm using dried spalted beech)
Lathe gouges (well sharpened 😉)
Epoxy resin and various colorants
Vacuum chamber
Sandpaper of different grits for a perfect finish
Varnish to protect and enhance the wood
🛠️ Project Steps:
Wood Preparation: I personally created this spalted wood by controlling the humidity during the drying process.
Epoxy Resin: I used medium viscosity epoxy resin and mica powder-based colorants.
Finishing: Careful sanding with sandpaper of different grits and abrasive paste of my own making followed by two coats of varnish.

🔍 Inspirée par la nature ,cette idée m'est venue à l'esprit pour créer des motifs élégants, géométriques et fantaisistes pour un look moderne et sophistiqué.
Il s'agit de créer un moule en bois que l'on conservera dans le produit final, dans lequel on pourra insérer de la résine, du bois, ou tout autre matériau.
⭐️Coupe circulaire : Après avoir largement utilisé cette technique pour créer des oeuvres d'art ,j'ai décidé de la partager avec vous.
📦 Matériel et outils nécessaires :
-Bois de haute qualité (noyer, érable, ici j'utilise du hetre spalted sec)
-Gouges de tour et de tournage (bien affûtées 😉)
-Résine époxy et divers colorants
-Chambre à vide
-Papier de verre de différents grains pour une finition parfaite
-Vernis pour protéger et sublimer le bois

Morgan that little pine cone was the cherry on top. When you finished turning that handle and rotated it, then stopped and went back when the petals (I know they are called scales but I like the term petals) flashed, then you touched it with your finger was magic.
