...I really like that you didn't just alternate the two woods as your technique created a very cool pattern... As always, just a supurb piece of art! Matt
Excellent design and execution. Can you do a video on what looks like a sliding sled of your table saw shown in the first minute or so of this video, please?
Jack Thank you very much for your comment👍😉 yes maybe one day I will make a video of this machine, in the meantime if you have any questions, maybe I can answer them
Morgan…. Just wanted to let you know… with all those gaps, turning that piece is only one second of inattention away from disaster. Add to that, doing so internally as deep as you did was astounding! My hat is off to your skills. Elm is one of those woods that fuzzes up worse on the face than it does on end grain. If you apply any liquid stain or coating it looks like a hedgehog. That may be the absolute best way to finish it! At any rate the piece came out stunning. Thanks
Мой дед меня учил, чтобы при покрытии морилкой "ворс" не вставал, предварительно смочить изделие водой и после высыхания отполировать. Потом можно уже покрывать морилкой и лаком.
Great result as always, probably not a great vase for fresh flowers needing water! but beautiful for artificial or dried flowers. Missed you last week ? !
