We have one lady at locals. She's great, usually plays Bloomlord and even drew the art for her own playmat. Thankfully, she's never had to deal with weird basement dweller behavior, at least as far as I've seen.

Took my Gf to locals once, now she's the one always wanting to go cause everyone is encouraging and she even wins locals sometimes, they love her off Meta Decks which work suprisingly good
So it aint always bad to bring your significant other to your local branch 👍
Sucks this still happens in the world. I bring both my boys and teach the most important rule: No matter what Age, Race, Sexual Orientation, or Political Affliation? You treat them all same and fair and You tell them all: Get set to get decked!
When my gf and I go to a new locals. I like to be weird if we matched up and she’ll play along with it. I’ll say far fetch stuff like, “gosh you smell good (proceeds to inhale).”
You always gotta keep the "if my grandmother had wheels she'd be a bike" in the back pocket for they say "oh if I drew x I wouldn't have lost to you"

There was one guy at locals who was saying he had a bad hand and that's whay he lost against the other person and I told him to shuffle better as a joke and he said when you win for 3 weeks in a row then you can talk the next week I beat him.
Biggest problem I had recently was my casual attitude. I play Digimon for fun. But for a lot of guys in my local shop it‘s competitive sports. And that‘s kinda sad, since it makes me feel bad for not owning a bunch of expensive cards or a meta deck for that matter. 😅

Se puede decir que en la tienda local de donde vivo hay una chica que juega todos los dias que hay torneos y es de las mejores , incluso a logrado hacer top en los regionales de LATAM, se podria decir que la una persona que ka desmotiva con su mazo es ella misma porque no encuentra que su mazo este bien apesar de estar perfectamente armado
Honestly I'm a guy and I've played against equal opportunity Aholes that treated me like this because I wasn't playing the most popular deck of the format. It always felt good to beat them
I think the title should be 'THE GOOD VS THE BAD IN DIGIMON TCG'. Just my opinion.

I've been trying to encourage my gf to go to a locals, but...this is having me rethink it a little...
Can safely say, I wouldn't want to play with any of the three "examples".
Having brought my wife to locals, and gone with another guy who brought his wife, it doesn't really make any difference. Assholes are assholes. Fortunately there's a large space between Knight and Chad, because they are both creepy.

Actually, as a girl I can say, I play Imperial, WarGrey Toolbox, Omnimon Alter-S, HeavyLeomon and MaloMyotismon… as of now I‘m testing Imperial Virus and yes, I really love Valkyrimon Ace which feels like a girl-ish deckprofile to be honest 😂
