Indeed, only roof, beams and spire were destroyed, neither structure, towers nor statuary, roses or glasspanes were destroyed.

Exactly, nearly everything survived, except for the lead roof and beams.
Indeed I was extremely relieved (and it was quite an happy surprise) that medieval glass panels survived the fire ; these large glass structures are "cemented" by lead, a metal that melts at 250°C (and they are very heavy too).
By the way, nearly all medieval cathedrals have been damaged by fire (except for Chartres), but gothic architecture is far more sturdy than generaly thought, and nearly all of these churches are still standing, except for those willingly deconstructed and rebuilt in favor of more fashionable - modern - styles.

Honestly, I'm grieving for Notre Dame as much as everyone else, but now I'm thinking of the ending scene in Disney's "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" When Frollo fell into the fire at the steps of the cathedral.
I was listening to this then remembered the Notre Dame burned down. it's sad that such an iconic piece of Christian and human history for 800 years is gone. I hope they rebuild it. once they do, it will be even more special to me. I will be able to go see what great people have done to make sure history isn't lost. my love goes to anyone who has donated to help rebuild it. also, this nightcore is great.

Clopin is Quasi's father. He's the "man" in the story. Not Quasi, because in most of that story Quasi was only a baby. Because he feared Frollo, he could never be near his son again. But he stayed close.
How could it tho? Genetics don't play out too good.
That's what I was thinking. Quasi's father was either the male gypsy that was with Quasi and his mother on the night of her murder which would make sense seeing as her first instinct was to move as close to him as she possibly could before he was taken away in chains and she then tried to run knowing she'd likely never see the man alive again. OR Clopin was Quasi's father which would also make perfect sense given just how much he knows about Quasimodo's life story
I think I now need to prepare a Halloween playlist and add this to it so I have eeri music to listen to on Halloween

I think Hunchback of Notre Dame 1996 is the best cartoon of Disney for all times ; but in my opinion - book of Hugo is better , it have more deep plot .

This is a better version of the song for the hunch back because the real story of the hunch back is that the hunch back pushes Frollo off the bell tower on purpose than he goes to he Girl, s grave refusing to leave until he eventually starved to death so this would be perfect dramatics for the real story of the hunch back
