This is one of my favorite songs from this album, though I do love all of Blackmore's Night's songs. Song: Cartouche - Blackmore's Night Picture: wallhere.com/en/wallpaper/579601
this dress and this person on the picture is beatrice the golden witch from the anime umineko no naku koro ni (when they cry 3) the light novel is much better than the anime. but well maybe you can find this dress as cosplay dress.
"Cartouche" If I share this with you never speak a word They would never understand if they ever heard Gemini, Capricorn, rising in the east Dancing through the witchwood we began to sing... In between dark and light in the underworld Wrapped around your finger like a string of pearls Smiling face, empty hand, 7 golden rings Dancing through the starlight we began to sing... Ahh, still I hear the whisper..."Cartouche"... Caramel colored leaves spiral in the air Diving right into the ground 'round the winding stair Stories carved out of wood, jester and the king Dancing through the moonlight, we began to sing Ahh, still I hear the whisper..."Cartouche"... Memories, black and white, hide behind the glass In the mirrors and the smoke, its all fading fast Written word, turn the card winter into spring Dancing through the witchwood we began to sing... Ahh, Ahh, still I hear the whisper..."Cartouche"...
We had a french test today and one of the words we had to translate was cartouche, I almost burst out laughing and started quietly singing this song😂 my teacher was confused

Well, it requires quite a lot of strength to hold that pose, balancing all of your weight on your left leg's tippy toes et cetera. Not sure how you are going to keep the dress like that though.
@@DrEtzor Not to mention that dress probably weights a much as a 4-year-old child! Edit: New fun fact! The dress's style is a mix of diffferent decades 1800s. And yes, that would weigh well over 30 pounds!
Folk is a pretty broad genre, I'm not necessarily surprised. To be folk music it has to have a historical tone which depends on the the region the music is from. Chinese folk music typically has loud gongs noises and bellowing flutes, where as the Pakistan or Kazakhstan folk is generally very fast and include a lot of percussion parts.
When I hear this song I imagine a rich girl in an arranged marriage and during the day she is proper but at nice she dances and looks for her own love!!!!
I do a lot of roleplays (mostly by myself) and I made a character slightly based on this song and she dances to it... If you would like to learn more about the character and her connection to this song and how she dances to it, I would gladly tell you. Mind you, I am not a dancer anymore.
This music reminds me of the kind of dancing where you move your hips up and down really fast. I forgot what its called. One of my stepgrandma's grandchildren does that kind of dancing. Its so cool

I like listening to songs like this..mainly because I find that most of them have a secret message(usually)...and I find it interesting ....but I also just simply like the songs..and I love the nightcore version.. :)
Well, that is exactly what a Nightcore version entails. I personally am not quite sure why this is done (I sometimes do like listening to a sped up version more).
car·touche kärˈto͞oSH/ noun a carved tablet or drawing representing a scroll with rolled-up ends, used ornamentally or bearing an inscription. ARCHAEOLOGY an oval or oblong enclosing a group of Egyptian hieroglyphs, typically representing the name and title of a monarch.
Natszerasza Song Meaning: Cartouche was the name of a french bandit from the 18th century. Together with his gang he roamed the area around Paris and got famous - and popular - by his clever way of stealing: Whenever he robbed somebody he made sure he amused this person by jokes and pranks because Cartouche knew he'd be likely forgiven if he was the "amusing" thief and not the "scary" one. Thus noblemen and citizens liked him a lot and eagerly listened to the descriptions of his robberies. Unfortunately the magistrates didn't like him at all, so Cartouche was sentenced to death 1721. I think this song is about the spirit of "Cartouche" still roaming the forests around Paris, celebrating the last clever run on a noble's townhouse, counting the money, fooling around with other stuff he stole, while the campfire sends smokey trails through the summernight.

Hi good morning
You must ALOT of time on your hands huh....
I think it's sometimes creepy how well the nightcore pictures fit the songs. Am I the only one?
You're not alone! 😊
i mean....when they make the video they choose the picture.....so it stands to reason they'd pick a picture that goes well with the song.
I agree.
True, its just a thing that happens, they can always find such a great picture!
I’m not going to lie, the combo does give me a slightly uneasy feeling
