Honestly the story in this song is very interesting. A man who is trying to be faithful with his religion but is being tempted by a woman (which honestly it’s human to be attracted to someone) but he is so conflicted that he becomes obsessed in a bit of a darker way and just keeps going downhill. A lot of fan fictions or even stories are written with guys like this who are the male lead...just saying >.>

If/when they make a "live-action" Hunchback of Notre Dame, failure to do this song right is not an option. PS, I think that Cristoph Waltz would be great for the role if Frollo.
If they do, I want it to be PG-13 (Just like Mulan) and ALSO, I still want them to keep the songs. By the way, it still needs to be a little more based on the book than the cartoon version. 🤗🙏🏼
