    Fantastic series that I refer to all the time. Just did this job and wanted to add @15:14 don't forget to flip it over and put the outer race for the outboard bearing in the hub at this time too :)

    Are those new dampers? Interested to know considering the position taken with the front dampers. Also, no bushes changed. Where they fine after twenty plus years?

      Well spotted. One of the originals was u/s due to rusting. We dynoed some of the off-the-shelf replacements and the damping curve was nothing like stock so I had those specially made up and valved to match the originals. (The OEM damping curves are available on lotuselancentral.com if you search Tony Wright (Saska's) threads.) Bushes were fine in this case. Checking and replacement is same sort of procedure that we did for the front suspension rebuild.

    If there were ever a car that needed to be customized FF to FR (or AWD) this is the one car for it. Or....wapping an engine in the rear for a MR would be cool too. After all, some people have made a Honda Del Sol (Integra) to MR as well too.
