- Have you ever wondered what the differences are between the AWE and MBRP Camaro exhaust systems are?
With so many options available, knowing the difference between brands can be a bit difficult. In this video we are going to take the AWE and MBRP exhaust systems and explain the differences about them and what makes them unique to each of their brands.
We swap the system on our car so you can hear what each exhaust sounds like. Equipped with a set of long tube headers, we start with the AWE Touring Edition exhaust and finish off with the MBRP XP Series exhaust so you can hear what they sound like.

The headers are what wake these cars up, it sounds good on stock muffler with headers
Seems like the MBRP system is the best bang for the buck option!

I had both exhaust before. The borla atak is LOUD. Mbrp with axleback only is loud AND MUCH deeper!!! And 10x cheaper. No comparison

Will the MBRP system bolt up to factory cats. Dose it have the flange on the passenger side? I was wanting a system that my local muffler shop could install with no welding?
Yes, MBRP is a bolt on system. No need to weld anything. They will bolt up to the factory cats.
I put a mbrp catback on my 2019 camaro ss automatic and it was for a manual does that affect it? Is a mbrp for manual not fit an automatic?
Its not an exact fit. You need to make sure and have it cut correctly and you might need some valve simulators.
MBRP you can see the two middle resonators in the middle dropping down :(

Does MBRP have a system for the ZL1 that has the valves?

You won't need the AFM Valve Simulators for the ZL1. Everything else you need comes in the MBRP box.
@@PhastekPerformance So there is a valve on this system that opens and closes for quiet drives.
Curious if anyone has ran either system with long tube headers no cats and can confirm no drone or minimal drone with either product.
Very little drone with the awe unless your around 3k rpm

You couldn’t really tell a difference in sound, I think mbrp is better just because it’s more budget friendly.
It doesn't even have mufflers, probably drones like crazy

The spoiler on this car is the ACS spoiler with their wicker kit installed.
