I forgot the sequences and the control locations from days in the 2015, so you just kept me from having to read the manual. Thanks! 6th Gen feels more refined and easy to use to me than the 5th Gen, but I’m a geezer! You can teach an old dog new tricks, haha!
good lord, i had a 2018 1SS 1LE for 3 years and i never knew about the no lift shift. with that feature why would you even consider an automatic?? you get the glorious sound of the rev matching downshifts with the 6 speed along with automatic like shifts of an automatic…. best of both worlds

I'm not sure if you've noticed, but throttle response is different in all modes. Sport Mode is more aggressive, Track Mode is more lineal, and Touring Mode is... "normal" I guess. And yes, I agree... no one uses the "Snow/Ice" mode.

It’s cheaper than most mom cross over now a days. They are a lot more expensive these days. If you can try and get a deal in the used market.

New from the dealer they go upwards of 50k, and you can find them used for mid to high 40’s. Used zl1 1le’s cost about the same for some reason so im thinking about just skipping straight to one of those. Had a 750whp mustang so i dont think it should be too hard to handle lol

The book says that in Sport 2 that both TC and ESC are both off. Sport 1 has TC off but ESC on. I'm curious what you said about the nannies still being there in Sport 2.

So you can do it in any mode as long as you keep your foot buried into the throttle above 5,000rpm. At 5k it engages no lift shift. In my experience it hasn’t done any harm. I’ve been doing it since new and now have 10k mikes on it.
Yes, because basically what TC and ETC does is that it apply brakes to the wheel that is braking loose, so it will slow the car down every time it loses grip. Is not that it gives more power but it doesn´t apply the brakes.
How to you get to that active handling screen? Is that only for manual transmissions or does the autos have that screen too? Not sure if maybe I missed that

Does your car have track mode? Double click the tc off button twice to enter competitive mode in either sport or track mode. If it goes into competitive mode then your car should do the same as mine I believe.

Ease off but be fast enough so you don’t burn the clutch. Faster than anything tho, if you go too fast you’ll prob bog down but since it’s launch control the computer will prob sort it out.
Hey so tried the competitive mode but I can't figure out how to get the menu to go into wet or the dry mode, that window. How do you do that? I can't see how you scroll?
In the 6th gen you have to be in track mode to get the traction settings. Go to track mode then double click the traction button twice to get into competitive mode, then you the mode selector to chose between the traction settings.

So I'm trying this on my 2020 2ss 1le 6 speed manual. I do all the steps but it doesn't sit at 3.5k rpm. It just revs to red line.
Clutch fully engaged on the floor? First gear and full throttle? Competitive mode on in sport or track? It should engage launch control.

@@ptown19929734 you’ll be fine on warranty for a catch can. Has nothing to do with the drivetrain. Easy to remove if anything.
Is this your daily driver? Any issues with splitter scraping?
Not my daily, only had one scrape with the front splitter in 10k miles. It was a stupid mistake. Clears mostly everything.
