I haven’t tried yet, but want to test that out. Normally aura builds fall of quickly once the player count goes up. However, this one is a little different since it has a screen sized static field with a good amount of -res. Maybe this would be a good follow up video. Hmmm..🤔 Stay tuned!
I just tested out on single player and set the game to players 8. I was able to still run through cows and Chaos Sanctuary decently for sure. You just need to be sure to static, and then supplement your damage by casting your Nova which is around 2k. Cows still went pretty quick considering p8. Diablo gets down to 1/4 health immediately and then your nova, pulses, and thunderstorm drain him down. You can see when thunderstorm hits him, it is small chunks in the remaining life that looks like it’s draining from the nova and pulses.
Just finished this build yesterday and boy is she fun! I use 24fhr armor with 5/5 facets. I didnt max L storm but nova and use L storm on switch. Works like a charm.
Yea, she's pretty mighty! I imagine there's some cool things you can play around with on this one, just like you using Nova. I love how Thunderstorm will snipe minion bosses sometimes, it's very satisfying. But even with me only having 1 point to nova currently, she still does decent damage from all the -res! Its a really fun build but at the same time, budget is the key in my opinion... if you have infinity, than whatever lightning build is working well should not surprise anyone 😂 u use infinity and light. damage and call it a day. Another thing is that some - % enemy lightning res. is too much. Its good to check cause maybe ur crescent moon is not changing that much.... but not sure how much that plays out. Hyperion and looks gr8 and have quite high block chance! Nice work anyway, I like the idea of the build
Thanks for the comment! You are right, there are occasions where you can have too much -enemy resist. For this build, I want the most damage against sundered monsters to help my build not slow down. Sundered monsters are 95 lights resist and infinity works at only 1/5 its effectiveness which I think is -17% bringing sundered monsters down to 78 resist which is still tanky against light damage. Crescent moon and my armor bring them down another 55% dropping them to 23%. So they still have positive resist, but can take decent damage. Non-sundered monsters get a huge reduction and get wiped really well. I would love max block, but since I am energy shield, it would take too much mana away. I agree though, not a budget build, 2x Dreams, 4x light facets and an infinity + other gears. This is just a super fun build when I want to deviate away from cookie cutter! I’m stoked you stopped by and like it, maybe it will get you thinking of something cool too! Appreciate you 🙏🤘🏻
You have a great point. Mostly looking for skills and resist on the armor since I don’t need him to actually kill. Viper is my placeholder until I decide to toss on a CoH. Isn't it interesting!? The lightning master buffs up dream's holy shock aura a tad more than a synergized paladin (however, paladin can push the aura up to high 40's). The static just melts them and the aura finishes them off. It's "shockingly" effective! Thanks for stopping by, I am planning on putting out some more videos soon. Re-arranging the office first :D
Hey there! Yes, I haven't actually tried this in higher player counts but I agree with you. Static will do a whole lot of the work for you, but the pulse damage obviously will fall off quickly. Thunderstorm hits like a truck though. This is definitely meant as a fun solo running character when bored of cookie cutter shenanigans! I think I'm going to try it out and see how it goes. I think I will still try this one out though, static across the entire screen will at least chunk enemies down to 1/4, and you have about 2k nova damage to supplement the aura pulses with a huge Thunderstorm slamming down at around 10-20k damage to finish off the baddies. Auras without static will surely struggle above p3

I agree. I think that more big UA-camrs should encourage off-meta builds, but I try to stay away from meta builds. Cool sorc.
