The Berserker axe is a little slower and misses the last breakpoint for WW on this specific setup. If I used highlords I think it would counteract, but not positive on that at the moment.

@@triplespace007 Yea, pretty much. Good focus on fire blast, and the kicks can be very decent early on as well. It’s a very good starter that won’t make you burn a respec!

And I've just made an ebotd thundermaul wolf barb for Ubers. Something a little different than a hammerdin or nova sorc! Spearazon looks like might be on the cards too!

He’s an old football player that’s a musician and dancer so the knee was limiting his mobility from the sports injuries but he’s so much happier now! Good luck!

Thanks friend! Yea, I absolutely love this Barbarian. I think he looks amazing and plays really safe as well. The holy freeze slows down enemies like crazy, and the confuse from Dream goes off quite often. Very safe, and does surprising damage.

That's a really interesting point! I've never thought about Hustle in a polearm. The problem is the level 1 aura being a very small radius. I feel like you'd have to use Enigma to keep it in check. Really good idea, and I appreciate this comment. You have me thinking!

You are absolutely correct. I did not specifically mention that, but the idea of infinity is just the conviction aura itself helping all the elemental damage I am dealing, primarily cold and lightning. It also is helping me hit more often by reducing defense! Can you imagine if that did count to your own -enemy lightning resist? That would be quite insane! Thanks dude! I've got some ideas for sure. Using Mavina's set and going with cold damage and not worrying about the lightning damage really helps the resists because you won't need the lightning sunder at all, and Mav set will give you a bunch of good QOL stuff like 50 all res, a bunch of extra attack rating and stat points. The comment on the music really is special to me, I very much appreciate that and for the sub! 🙏🤘 Music is like my deep passion since I was a young teenager, I might end up really pulling it together, polishing some more and putting it up on bandcamp or something. To answer your question, if you can make the two dooms, you can omit the lightning part and use the 4 piece trangs + a lawbringer act 5 mercenary. However, the dooms still require 2x Ohm, Lo, Cham... so not cheap at all. That was actually my original idea, and it's almost just as effective! I will probably make a video on that specifically, he looks WAY cool with the white armor and it's fun to find a use for that set outside the Amazon. Stay tuned!!

It's almost like you can sub out the armor for a Bramble, double plagues on switch, and even Trang gloves, and have a pretty nasty poison going on while running like a madman. Although the lightning would be way less effective, so maybe a whole different idea helmet there. I definitely have a whole bunch of branching ideas coming from this build and it's making me want to experiment and make more videos! Stay tuned!

I'm tossing around a bunch of other ideas that I may branch out with this build on. Potentially having a heavy lightning focused switch side with gimmershreds... This could be frenzy and throw easily with 29 points left over... You can also easily use a lawbringer act 5 mercenary, which was my original setup with Mavina's. Everything is basically not moving.

Looks like fun. I don't know how resistant you are to leaning into one element(cold), but I would personally drop the faceted armor for fortitude, style points for chilling armor to add to the cold theme, you'd pick up some deadly strike and resistances. You could then drop rare boots for gore riders/goblin toes for some crushing blow or war travs for added flat dmg if you are making an effort to avoid it. Maybe spend some of those skill points on natural resistance to cap res or get closer? You could also try crafting a gg blood amulet for skills and life leech. There are many ways you could improve this if you wanted to/got lucky crafts. This is why I love D2 so much, 1,000 ways to get it done and 975 of them are fun.

Yea, I actually have a cold focused version that uses Mavina's set as well, I touched on it slightly towards the end of this video, but it still wrecks really nicely and also frees up the boot slot. Plus with 4 pieces you get a whole lot of quality of life, like a lot of all res, attack rating, and stats, plus a very nice cold damage chunk on the gloves (with all the -res from Doom). I was totally looking through all my crafted amulets and didn't have a single one with leech! lol Appreciate you stopping by and sharing the ideas. I wish you good luck! There are still items I’ve never found also, Zod rune for example. But I’ve found like a lot of every other rune in the game. Multiple Chams, Jahs, etc. all in D2R. You will get one! Also, I’ve tried D4 3 times now, and it just doesn’t feel like the same genre. I don’t like the itemization or the character progression. Very over exaggerated as well, with everything. Not very D1 or D2 vibes.

@@noknownthrone2487 agreed d4 is fun for a few hours. I highly doubt I’ll be grinding it’s pits 20 years from now. I can almost guarantee I’ll still be grinding my holy grail in d2r. You’ll get your zod. I got two of them from pits last year ssf players 7.

Hey there! Yea players 8 on single player is a fun challenge that really starts to limit some builds and narrows down the classes for sure. I mostly play solo online, but I do like to mess around on single player cranking up the difficulty to p8 sometimes. This build is definitely focused more towards getting a character running on a new ladder, new starts, SSF, or p1 single player. Amazon though, that’s a pretty rough class to try to get through p8 regardless! But man, I love poison and bleed/DoT in games like this. This build does perform well in higher player counts with optimal gear, of course. I will be making more videos in this budget series, and some of the other classes are definitely stronger. Atmas works very well with bone break. If they are immune at 150% physical resist, amp alone only brings them down to 50% physical resistance. However, with bone break, they are dropped to 95% BEFORE amp, and amp has full effect. This means with bone break and amp that same monster would be at -5% physical resist. I hope this helps dude! I haven’t tried yet, but want to test that out. Normally aura builds fall of quickly once the player count goes up. However, this one is a little different since it has a screen sized static field with a good amount of -res. Maybe this would be a good follow up video. Hmmm..🤔 Stay tuned!

I just tested out on single player and set the game to players 8. I was able to still run through cows and Chaos Sanctuary decently for sure. You just need to be sure to static, and then supplement your damage by casting your Nova which is around 2k. Cows still went pretty quick considering p8. Diablo gets down to 1/4 health immediately and then your nova, pulses, and thunderstorm drain him down. You can see when thunderstorm hits him, it is small chunks in the remaining life that looks like it’s draining from the nova and pulses.

Oh interesting! I don’t remember that, but wonder if that is still a thing?

Big time dude! I’m still aiming to fine-tune this build and bring it to my online account. My goal is trying to increase boss kill speed, since bowazon is already pretty great at the normal mobs. Since this video, I’m finding that if I switch goblin toes for gore riders and dropping the crafted gloves for laying of hand, I get more consistent double damage from crits and deadly strike as well as the base increase with the +350% damage to demons. The amp here seemed like it would proc right before most enemies die anyways and on p1 it’s conditionally useful at best so something with a high chance for amp might be a better option to switch to when you really need it rather than taking up the amulet slot for a mere 2% chance 🙂

@@realSAPERE_AUDE yea the thought was just for bosses or phys immune. It is 5% chance but still mostly useless on normal mobs, totally agree. I’ve since tested a Lo rune instead of Ber in the bow and it comes out to 86% chance to deal double damage with crit and deadly strike combined. I think I like the Lo rune more. Pretty sure switching to Highlords would just max it out if I can find another way to amp. Don’t want to lose my strafe speed though!

@@noknownthrone2487 yeah I think the reason people don’t focus much on crushing blow is that crit and deadly strike can be more consistent extra damage.
