You could probably make another 50 videos with this same title. The PS2 library is so vast and has a seemingly endless amount of weird and unique games to discover. Thank you, as always, for highlighting games in a straightforward and informative way.
Absolutely agree! ... I was just handing my collection to my young nephew last night, and we went through them one box after another.. I was impressed by the journey I had with PS2❤
@@thatvideogamesshow , I currently own Nina Williams in Death by Degrees and, in all honesty, I find it to be having controls that are too difficult, and the game itself is too needlessly difficult. Moreover, Urban Reign, which is another beat-em-up/conveyor belt brawler video game that is for the PS2 that also takes place in the Tekken universe, is a million times better than that game, as it balances the difficulty out better. The only thing that the game that you had mentioned did better than Urban Reign was that it was an open world game of sorts, whereas Urban Reign has around 100 or so short stages. Had it made the city of Green Harbor all an open world environment, like the Yakuza games do for Tokyo, or True Crime: Streets of L.A. did for Los Angeles, as well as had a better story line, and more elements from the Yakuza franchise, as well as the True Crime/Sleeping Dogs franchises, then it would have even overshadowed God Hand for the top beat-em-up/conveyor belt brawler video game for the PS2.
I think it would be a great addition if you started showing the cover art of games while introducing them; I know I recognize a lot of games better from the cover art than just the name. Plus this would also help fellow collectors more easily spot games you've shown while shopping. Anyways thanks for all the great content!
FORGOTTEN REALMS DEMON STONE!!!! I have been trying to track down that game after remembering playing it as a child, literally this video has solved a years long mystery for me thank you so much!!!!
In terms of mystic heroes, there are actually a few characters going by their unlocalized names that appear in Warriors Orochi series. Da Ji is in every Orochi game, Taigong Wang (Tai), Nezha (Naja who is a guy btw) appear in Orochi 3 onwards, and Yang Jian who appears in Orochi 4 who all fittingly represent the mystic realm of the Orochi series. Mystic Heroes is actually the first Keoi Warriors Collab game pre-dating dynasty warriors gundam and other collabs as the character designs are directly from the game Fengshen Yanyi based off the novel of the same name.

Such a creative time in gaming, and so many games. It was such a good time rummaging through PS2 collections at different gamestops like how album collectors and DJs dig through crates in record shops. If anyone can help me with a ps2 game I only played in a demo but still wanna play it. It was a weird and quirky action jrpg where you play a character with a lance type weapon i think and you had a sort of dog creature with you always that had powers of its own and could help get across obstacles. The game had a really nice graphics since the environments are small and compartmentalized into different sections and as such had a nice depth of field effect to the visuals. Anyone?
As a brazilian i've always thinked of YuYu Hakusho being more reconizable than Captain Tsubasa, but i can see it being the other way on other countries as well
You did it again. I'm currently looking online for a copy of Trapt. That game looks awesome. Also ngl a major memory unlocked when I saw gameplay of Death By Degrees. That takes me back. I rented that from Blockbuster back in the day.
I played a little of Saint Seiya: The Sanctuary and wasn't a hug fan. I think The Hades is a bit more smooth. I think it's cool that The Sanctuary has the French cast doing a dub though. I do like beat-'em-ups though so maybe I'll give the game another shot.
There's a French dub for the Saint Seiya The Sanctuary? Here in Latin America Soldiers' Soul is the only Saint Seiya game dubbed into Neutral Spanish, and one of the few Japanese games with a dub that's not from Nintendo. In fact, Soldiers' Soul is the last Saint Seiya work were Seiya's original VA, Jesús Barrero, voiced him before his passing
@@goylem91 that's interesting to hear, as I said before, the Neutral Spanish dub managed to bring back almost everyone, even those actors who voice more than one character. Saint Seiya's Mexican dub launched the career for many of its voice actors: - Jesús Barrero (Seiya): he previously voiced characters like Rick Hunter and Scott Bernard in Robotech and Koji Kabuto in Mazinger Z, he then voiced Jason in Power Rangers, Luke Skywalker in the OG Trilogy Special Edition, Kuzco in Emperor's New Groove; - María Fernanda Morales (Athena): she voiced Sailor Venus in Sailor Moon and Crystal, Nala in the Lion King, Lola Bunny in Space Jam 1 & 2, Tanjiro's mother in Demon Slayer - Ricardo Mendoza (Shiryu): Yamcha in Dragon Ball, Seto Kaiba in Yu-Gi-Oh!, Aizen in Bleach, Eddy in Ed, Edd 'n Eddy - René García (Hyoga): Vegeta in Dragon Ball, Hanamichi Sakurai in Slam Dunk, Hermes in Futurama, Nick Wilde in Zootopia and he's the usual dub voice for Ben Affleck and Keanu Reeves - José Giberto Vilchis (Shun): Van in Escaflowne, Satoru Gojo in Jujutsu Kaisen, Yoshikage Kira in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. He's also Jesús Barrero's nephew so he inherited many of his late uncle's roles, like Rex in Toy Story 4 - Marcos Patiño (Ikki): Vicious from Cowboy Bebop, Kingpin in Spider-Man TAS, Ging Freecs in Hunter × Hunter
