    The woman that bought a Velar and didn't service it is clealy at fault. LR products need to be serviced in a timely manner and sometimes before the recomended service intervals. Many people skip on service because its expensive and then sell the car on to someone once they start to see issues arise. Then that unlucky person has to deal with it. Just because you can afford to purchase the vehicle doesn't mean you can afford the up-keep

    • @caymanblack9567

    • @stop_lying_bro
      @stop_lying_bro 10 місяців тому +2

      @@caymanblack9567 Service is based on the miles driven and how it's driven. The manufacturer gives you an estimated amount of time between services but that doesn't mean that's what your car needs. When driven hard, a lot of city stop start and high or really cold temperatures it's best to do service more frequent. And it looks as if the woman didn't service the car at all. There is a chance that the damage isn't her fault but legally the manufacturer has the upper hand as it's a binding contract between you and them saying the vehicle will be serviced at these times at their or approved garages.

      I think she is at fault for buying LR product. Should buy a Toyota. I don't even know where my closest dealership is. I maintain it really poorly. My first oil change was after 50k km. Now it has 300k kms on the clock. 16 years old. No failures. Still original Panasonic made in japan battery in it... I would love to buy something else... because I got so bored with it. These are lemons, I still don't know why they are allowed to sell their cars in the USA, I'm suprised there hasn't been a class action lawsuit, these happened with 2000 models VW passat and Jettas. Having said that, they need to hire Toyota engineers/consultant to design and fool proof their engines, is beyond me why they haven't done this already.

    I'm just here for the vids of various LR cars. I've had a D2, L322, D4 and now a new Defender 90. My D2 had some issues, the L322 had a couple but the other 2 were rock solid. That being said, because of various stupid things McGovern has said and done and because of the stupid property tax numbers here in SC, the Defender is probably my last LR for a while. If you find a good one then maintain it and keep it.
