She just so happen to be at the Vegan Health & Fitness EXPO recently and I was fortunate enough to get 15 minutes of her time. @@vanitagomes3794 on a typical day: Breakfast: Oats 3/4 cup whole oats (groats) combined with 3 1/4 cup water. Cooked overnight in a slow-cooker. When cooked add: walnuts, pumpkin seeds, goji berries, 1 tablespoon ground flax seed*, maple syrup. *ground flax seed is important for balancing our omega 3's and 6's. Lunch: Green Smoothie 2 cups unsweetened organic soy milk or water. Add 1 cup organic blueberries, mango and or strawberries (about 2 cups total). Add 1+ cup (packed) kale Add ginger. I use about 2 inches. I sometimes add 1 scoop (24 grams protein) of pea protein. Afternoon snack: apples or seasonal fresh fruit. Dinner (varies). Mexican Black beans and rice with spicy raw salsa, blue corn tortillas, cilantro. Sometimes with raw red cabbage salad (finely chopped cabbage, add salt and lime) or green salad. I also love vegan Indian food.

HA Ha!...at my job I sometimes see a multi legged being on the floor and use my ID badge to scoop him or her up and take them outside...others observe me but they don't say anything...so I say to them that if I was the bug, I would be grateful for a chance at life

Then there are those I look at before I start the audio, I don't need to listen. 1 or 2 seconds of looking at them, they have health, happiness and vitality looking me right between the eyes. Chef Babette Davis is truly one of those. She looks 40 years young, her face and skin is glowing. As another person said, I will have what she is having. Looking forward to warmer months when I can have fruit and Salads. After a 3 month binge on poison, I too am " Plant Based / Vegan for Life "

Snap! I also went vegan in 1990, after visiting Animal Aids Living Without Cruelty Fayre at Kensington Town Hall in London in June of that year. I'm in my 60s now, not on any medication and rarely visit the doctor.

When I first saw Chef Babette a few years ago, my goal was to one day be strong like chef. I waited and then I decided now is the time, not tomorrow or next time. So here I am, getting stronger day by day (didn’t stop even during my cancer diagnoses and treatment last year). I’ve been vegan since 2012. Been going for a even more healthy life style though. Maybe I’ll go mostly raw at some point in my life. She is a fitness and health inspiration for me. Best 🌱

Not sure about people who speak like you do. We agree on the locally grown, no chemicals and processed foods there are studies that show the Mediterranean diet is healthy due to the vegetables especially dark leafy green ones, whole grains and fruits. Forgot to mention no cane sugar, or alcohol dr Klaper, Dr Esselstyne, Dr Gregor show the real truth about health and all have studies over decades showing no fried foods and to limit oil or cut it out completely if you have a heart disease in your family
I love these interviews. She's so beautiful! And 72 years old! I am having issues going raw. I'm definitely not getting enough calories, probably because I'm not used to preparing raw meals. It seems to take so much time. I would love to learn some tricks for quick preparation. Until then I'm supplementing with rice and beans.
Yeah I think the trick is sprouting and fermenting so you can replace the grains and legumes with sprouted instead of cooked versions. I don't know that 100% raw is really necessary or optimum or most optimum I should say. But it is a bit dreamy.
I just subscribed to Chef Babette's youtube channel. Can you believe they've disabled notifications on her channel. Yet channels that encourage harming animals have full privileges and monetization

I had a ninja but my friend gifted me a vitamix & after using it the 1st time, I donated my ninja to the salvation army & never looked back. Trust & believe you will LOVE it ❤❤❤

i cook beans , starches and grains even broccoli and cabbage but almost everything else i eat is raw, it tastes better when you have learnt how to put all those delicious flavors together..its fun and interesting and delicious. animal products are revolting to me but i was lucky to be born a vegetarian and 15 years ago became vegan and wow i was so grateful ❤

Yes it does! I no longer need to put on deodorant. I just put a little T tree oil

We don't buy paper towels but we have saved a thick post card and have a bug glass. It is in its own spot easy to grab on the fly -so to speak.

Yeah I think the trick is sprouting and fermenting so you can replace the grains and legumes with sprouted instead of cooked versions. I don't know that 100% raw is really necessary or optimum or most optimum I should say. But it is a bit dreamy.
Sprinkle hemp seeds, flax seeds chia etc. This will fill you up. ❤
I find eating tofu, tempeh and other soy based foods helps.

i cook beans , starches and grains even broccoli and cabbage but almost everything else i eat is raw, it tastes better when you have learnt how to put all those delicious flavors together..its fun and interesting and delicious.
animal products are revolting to me but i was lucky to be born a vegetarian and 15 years ago became vegan and wow i was so grateful ❤

She definitely does not dress like a 72 year old woman 💯❤💯 My mom & I met her at Black Veg Fest last Saturday & she had a beautiful black flowery sheer flowing gown that was phenomenal but she still got down on the floor to do some push-ups and brought my mom up to the stage to join her ❤💪🏾❤
