I'm also 73. I live alone, off-grid, vegan & grow my own vegetables. I work out every day. My body tells me what it needs. I only need medical care when I have an emergency - like when I slipped on ice. My bones didn't even break. They're SO strong! Some people fret about me not doing the 'normal' things. Hi everyone, I'm 83 and I'm still working on taking my ego. Like, running for a bus a few weeks ago when I knew it wouldn't make it, so I lost my footing on bad pavement and gracefully fell and fractured my pelvis. Ouch! Healing well, thank you, but could have saved myself some pain and suffering, but the ego was happy. 🤗

You go to the doctor to assure you don't have issues we don't know of. I go once a year, needed or not. Since I am a long time vegan, having the feedback is valuable. Absolutely love your attitude and ego.

@@Wiseamphibian87 I totally 100% disagree. It most definitely can be detrimental to your mental / spiritual health (and therefore to your physical health) to participate in the medical industrial complex matrix. Babette gets it, but not everyone is there yet. If you personally want or feel you need to see a doctor to make you feel secure because you are not comfortable listening to your body and inner self, then by all means, do that. But in no way do healthy, happy vegans *need* to go to the doctor to maintain a healthy lifestyle. That's just propaganda from the pharmaceutical industrial complex... who works in conjunction with the medical industry.
Thank you for sharing this information. I'm a first-time listener. I loved it! You're right. Chef B. has great energy and her superpower is her aspirational way of being. You also hit on a critical point. I agree that it takes an "act of courage" to make the necessary changes to learn self-love and become a better human being. Chef B. is a badass. I love her energy.
Love chef Babette, Rich & their chemistry together ❤

Love Chef Babette and her positive loving spirit
Another beautiful podcast and very inspirational!
As always Rich another awesome show!!! Keep sharing the knowledge 💪🏾💪🏾
Great video! 💚
