My girlfriend's friend was having her child during the SuperBowl. I had met her a few times. She promised her friend she would be present for the birth. I was llike, cool. I'm going to watch the SuperBowl with my friends. She expected me to miss the SuperBowl party and go to the hospital for some unborn kid that isn't even mine... what the Hell? She squawked non-stop for the entire day then wouldn't talk to me the day of the SuperBowl. Women can be horrible. I told her, fine I"ll skip the party and go to the hospital. I brought a small cooler of beer and snacks, turns out her friend's husband was cool as shit and we watched the SuperBowl together on that shitty hospital TV. She didn't even have the baby that day, eventually ended up leaving my girlfriend and her friend's husband eventually left his wife and took the kid. Best buds with him and his new cool wife cooks a BUNCH of food for the SuperBowl and even left in the middle of the game to pick up more beer for everyone. Moral of the story, if your girlfriend/wife makes you miserable or goes out of their way to make you suffer, leave them. Don't put up with it, don't work on it, leave them. There are good people out in the world you just found a shitty one. Shitty people will always make you and everyone around them miserable, just walk away before kids are involved.

We all make dumb decisions based on our emotions. Hope it works out, he speaks pretty highly of her so maybe it was just an emotional thing and she'll understand if he explains. If she doesn't then that might be a red flag. We've all been jealous before, it can make us think some pretty stupid things in the moment.
