At the end of the Klaxxi quest line when you hit exalted you are led down to the depths of the giant tree in their base. They reveal the story of their patron Old God Y'Shaarj that was 'destroyed' by the titans (his seven heads created the Sha upon his death). A warning was given: should their master ever return they would once again serve him - and that he has.
In other words: the time for vengeance against the faction that forced us to grind rep endlessly has come!

We got to this boss this week totally unprepaired, did a couple of "yolo" pulls and got fucked up royally. Felt a bit frustrated since evrelias video guide didn't explain enough about the abilities for me to say "yea this is what we do". Just wrote down some notes from your guide and it makes sense to be this long. Thanks a lot and i expect a kill this week thanks to you guys. At anyone else qqing for it being long, if you like killing bosses/leading a raid, this is perfect.

LOL. Listened to the explanation at work while tabbed out...almost lost my shit and started cracking up when he said that.
Wow. Bless you guys for doing your best to explain this fight for people, but frankly if it takes even you guys over half an hour to explain all the bloody mechanics in this fight, then its probably indisputable proof that Blizz has finally disappeared up its own arse. If they continue in this vein in the next expansion, we may all have to learn some kind of advanced memory recall techniques.

Might I Add that hunters are able to Feign Death off the "Aimed" ability of Swarmkeeper!
P.S. I play a hunter AND have tested this.

immolates on other targets generate more embers which causes more single target deeps, same with RoF and Havoc + incin/immo/conflag

We went 2 man healing this after our 2nd wipe. It's pretty easy.
However 1 of our healers died after 2-3 minutes, and our restoration shaman was solo healing for about 7-8 minutes, we did get the kill.
If you go for solo healing. Make sure you kill that add that drags a raid member closer and closer to it, very quickly.
I believe I may have a quick priority list for anyone who is stuck:
Korven > Kaz'tik/Rik'kal > Skeer > Xaril > Hisek > Iyyokuk > Kil'ruk/Ka'roz

Should also mention that for the Aimed ability, The ability can be completely avoided by some classes.
Hunter: Feign Death
Mage: Ice Block
Spriest: Disperse
Not sure but I think Night Elfs can Shadowmeld, will find out next time I kill em :D if not 8% repair bill :(
There may be a few more things some classes can use but not sure. Hunters can not Detterence it tho I should add.

Because Garrosh has the Heart of Y'shaarj. If you do the Klaxxi quests you'll see where they've all said they serve Y'shaarj first and will follow him if he reawakens.

Im not sure, but you can edit the default raid frame, also move it. I think its that.
i meant that 10 man raid frames they have just above their UI. the green squares with the raid members' hp etc.

Seems like a good brewmaster can basically tank the parasite guy indefinitely. A decent monk will never let shuffle fall so no parasites spawn ever.
I've watched this guide 10 times and i still don't get half the abilities. Can you try and do a Role specifik guide, Like Healers in one , dps in one etc just so that you can learn what's important to your specifik role.
Another good thing you can do is add some sort of Text because it get's hard to hear all the technical mumbo jumbo at times and rly understand what's going on. This boss is the only guide of yours i just can't get my head around.

***** you are half right. Yes there is a set pattern for each boss to come down. But that pattern changes every week.
i think for hcs there is only small changes in tatics so i bet its going to be a 10-20 video
what raid frames are you using in this shamans UI set up?
Yeah, that's why I'm here. If any fight gets me up to 10 stacks, it's probably going to be this one.
This is why I don't do LFR. I jumped straight into 10m reg and then a week later into Flex. Lol... I'm only on Siegecrafter, though... Oh god. We're downing this one next week.
what addon do you use to have a raid group frame like that?
If you look at tactics from tank PoV - simplified.
- Dont tank A&B at the same time or while A has debuff that increases dmg from B. And thats 4 mobs total, 2x A&B. How hard :)
What addon is the shaman heals using for target frames?
So the order has remained the same for the last 3 weeks. Based on this, would a kill order be coming available sooner?
Can the Gouge be avoided by turning your back to the boss making it similar to a rogue Gouge?
Is anyone else having trouble picking up the buffs on this encounter? Especially the Hisek buff. We have around 10 pulls on it, and my raid was never able to see the buff, we did consistently get the Scorpion and the Red orbs though.
What's Hydra, and why should I be jelly of it?

What type of elixirs was the tank using? i noticed at around 14:00
haste as battle elixir i guess
and i think propably armor as guardian elixir
Can you use Demonic Gateways or Demonic Circle while Mesmerize is on you? And does it break the effect?:P
