Nightbane is 100% there, in mount tab on ptr we found flying mount that drops from him, "Smoldering...sth". Also, people who played One Night in Karazhan expansion will notice various easter eggs all over the instance. Not to spoil everything, but there are mobs that cast Firelands Portal and some cast Purify that appears to do...nothing. Dank Memes, Blizzard.
The mount could also drop from the old Nightbane . The smoldering sth drops from Nightbane in Karazhan while the new Midnight drops from Return to Karazhan.
When we had to get 2 DPSes from PuG for that boss on PTR we got two fresh Demon Hunters. You can guess what was happening next. Then we got a Demo lock and he didn't want to move even during the ice phase. We finished the dungeon with him and another pug spriest.
Warcraft I/the Warcraft movie characters. Anduin Wrynn is named after Anduin Lothar who was King Llane Wrynn's (Varian's dad) best friend. Yoshi is saying that it's most likely young Anduin Lothar and Llane Wrynn in that scene.

It resembles Mythic Archie's place + you're killing a demon and demons can only die in the twisting nether. This looks great, I cannot wait to go through that dungeon. Keep up the good work guys! Plinio Jorge N'zoth can be a raid but a Ulduar 5 man would be brilliant, Ulduar has more lore behind it, from what we know from the chronicles vol 1, maybe a cavberns of time Ulduar Origins stroyline
We're kind of getting Ulduar though, HoV is a part of Ulduar and there's a lot of titan lore in Legion :P I'd rather get new Titan things (like they did with Uldum).
The lenght of this dungeon brings back memories of spending half an afternoon doing BC heroics. Must say for me personally, this is a welcome addition.
The fragments are part of a quest chain. Like, when you do attunements to get in, you are given a quest to kill and tap thing then to go INTO the instance, and that quest tells you to get those fragments. Those fragments are meant to be part of the process of explaining Medivh's story.

The cut-scenes shows event described in the last Guardian and Warcraft Comics + the Attiesh will splinter is reference to Vanila Attiesh, which sadly have been removed. So happy that they confirms that Medivh is still alive
I love it! Karazhan was my hands down absolute favorite raid back in TBC, and now they made it into a dungeon and did a couple of remake. Thats neat! But from the last boss, I got the Star Wars feeling with the floating spaceships, kinda same as star destroyers xD
The crystals are the secret timer for Nightbane. You need to beat the bosses under a certain time from entering the zone and click the crystal which adds more time to the timer to get to, kill the next boss, and click the next crystal.
@FatbossTV The soul fragments are what you need to get the achievement [One Night in Karazhan]. To get this achievement, from the moment you enter the instance, you have 5 minutes to use the soul fragment, and 5 minutes from each fragment to the next. Once you get all soul fragments, a total of 5 i believe, in the time limit, Nightbane will spawn. If you kill Nightbane, you get the achievement and a sweet ass mount.
Oh my god. I was so worried about a 5 man conversion of Karazhan but holy crap this looks amazing. Almost makes me wish for a 5 man mega dungeon of Ulduar. Props to Blizzard on this...wow
I always thought soft-enrages were more interesting than a hard enrage. Fights like Moroes (more and more players taking damage) or Gruul (he gets stronger every time he grows) made you think about how many healers to bring, because more healers meant you could last longer before wiping, but too many healers and you will start getting 1-shot. Hard enrages are fine and have their challenge as well, but I always preferred something other than a simple "oh yeah, if it takes more than X minutes, everyone dies!"
I cant realy put in word how much I love Blizz for it. Endgame Content that is not raiding and is absolutely great (especially for me as a player who didnt have the chance to experience Kharazan while it was actual endgame)

The "to space!" thing has been in there since the old Karazhan. Technically it is believed that the top of the tower can be used as a gateway to other dimensions. Where you fought Malchezaar was the exact same gateway. Why it leads to, apparently, legion space, is a mystery that has never been answered.

No. Blizzard said that it won't be avalible in Mythic+. Which is a little shame, considering some bosses are quite cool, but you can clearly see the reason - M+ Maw of Souls takes 10-15 minutes while this thing, even speedrunning, would take at least an hour and some. If it was to get Mythic+ version, it would have to be a separate keystone. They could split the dungeon in couple parts and then try with Mythic+ system, but I think they want to keep it as one, coherent experience.
They would also have to replan the ilvl you get from it aswell tough. Due to how difficult and rewarding other dungeons are. A mythic +2 Karazhan would have given 860 loot on basis, wich is higher than what you would get in the weekly chest for completing that difficulty and 15 ilvl higher than what you would get from any other mythic +2 dungeons. Or they could scale the gear down, but why do a harder version of Karazhan for worse items, like going from 855 and 875 pieces to 845 in a harder version. I can imagine there being a keystone system for it, but it would have to be taken on it's own system apart from the other dungeons.
Hey, looking Anarks UI and i'm really liking it. I'm wondering which extensions he is using for Elvui to get it styled like that. Mostly looking at how he gets the borders to be bigger around chat, action bars and skada. I can't seem to find any options in either elvui or shadow & light.

Medivh was corrupted by Sargeras (leader of the Burning Legion) at birth, though it was not immediately obvious. He later went on to create the Dark Portal to enable Gul'dan to invade Azeroth. Khadgar assassinated Medivh for doing this, and he was deemed the Last Guardian, as his power was lost with him. The council more or less disbanded. However, the power of the Guardian was potent, and it clings to all it touched. This is why his horses, his servants, and many of his guests are echoed ghosts of their former selves. When they died, the power anchored them back to the tower, instead of allowing proper passage. The raid instance brought in during TBC has ethereals in the instance because at the time, ethereals were Nether-traversing opportunists, and the veil between the Nether and the tower was punctured due to the extended efforts of Prince Malchezaar. The new instance now shows the Legion making it a second staging point for invasion. This is why there are no longer ethereals, and why there are more demons for the latter half. The warping of the architecture is probably the latent effects of pulling parts of Azeroth into the Twisting Nether (just look at what the Twisting Nether did to Draenor). Medivh is trying to convince Khadgar to become a Guardian, but that's because Medivh is a flipping twat that was corrupted by a titan-turned-fel and handed power without experience, so he probably has no meaningful perspective on what becoming the Guardian actually means. I'm telling you right now, if you had ever did the hill on a live server in the Pit of Saron, i can tell you that is almost about equal to a boss fight. That fucking thing was absolute shit and took us longer than it did to down the first boss... and we wiped more. LOL
If their only concern is that the trash is time-consuming, then they should be thankful Blizz left out the original library. Because that was two solid hours of trash clearing right there.
So, about the 2nd fight with the Maiden of Virtue and her Repentance ability that stuns everyone until they take damage. Would a Sulfuron Slammer work instead of picking up a Sacred Ground stack? I know it used to work for the third boss in Stonecore, Ozruk.

Legion dungeons were so good. Upper Kara has some of my favorite dungeon bosses ever.
Note that the library looks exactly like the one in the movie and not anything that was in the old raid instance.

What addon is it that allows you to see the enemies health bar that clearly and can see all the dots on them?
what hardware you have , that you're framerate is so good ? i have i7 6700k with gtx 1080 and still the framerate is shit most of the times.
