- Man I don't even know why drawing crying Camilo made me sad...
Anyway, please don't come at me for the hair, it was rushed. Though I like how it came out.
It took me one day and a lot of drawing but here we are.
Also I fell in love with the song bruh.
STORY AU:
I feel like Camilo would be the second person to get to Mirabel (Julieta) being the first. And his reaction would be really sad. Having flashbacks of her immediately and just breaks into tears.
Julieta would probably try wake her up or anything. Unfortunately her food can't heal the dead since well, they're dead so, they can't digest. By saying ‘we could fix this’ she means that they could still change things if she was alive.
From hearing their Mother's cries, Isabella would be the first one to hear (even though Dolores has the power to hear better- the Casita is broken so it wouldn't work anyway), but she'd be speechless. Luisa would have a ton of thoughts running through her head and think she was not strong enough to protect her sister and she'd think of how she looked before and now that she is dead, how sad she is.
The last scene is a flower Camilo planted for Mirabel, and as they get older everyone puts something dear to them beside the flower.
Another flower: Isabella
Weight Lift: Luisa
Arepa: Julieta
Paw Print: Antonio
etc
And her grave would be not so far from that.
This is just how I think it would go out, but I'm glad Mirabel is alive anyway.

This would've been such a powerful message. If you keep trying to please your toxic family and keep feeding into their toxicity, you'll eventually break. There's no fixing that. All they had to do was stand up to Abuela, which seems like such a small thing but in reality, it's standing up to generations of passed down trauma. And it rarely ends well. Just like with Mirabel.

Personally I think Abuela doesn't actually give a damn about Mirabel. Never did and never will.

@@SonySlasher2468 oh, I don't know...after Casita fell, we saw Abuela's horrified reaction like "What have I done?" - and I think if Mirabel had died, she might've felt even more guilty about it.

I haven't cried this much at fiction since the last time I watched Encanto and they were telling Mirabel to save herself instead of the candle. Also Casita was probably like "shut up bitch im trying to force a teenage girl to risk her life for mine"

Also, rain does make plants grow sooo-
That plant buried for Mirabel might’ve been watered by Pepa who literally just cried on the spot to water it.
