- Camilo deserves more screen time and I got really inspired when I heard this song! Thank you Laureli Amadeus for making it. :) This animatic took me a week to make. I'm surprised I had energy to actually finish it.

I really love this! Especially how when Camilo says what he doesn’t like about himself, he isn’t portrayed as being mildly sad but as frustrated. Also I love the Bruno bit lol

I see so many different animatics of Camilo's Interlude and it's interesting to see the subtle, different interpretations. This might be the first one where I've seen Camilo being visibly frustrated and having a somewhat antagonistic attitude towards his self-image instead of the usual depressed demeanor I'm used to seeing.
I love how different every version is. ☺ And yes! I wanted to make him more frustrated to himself rather than just being sad.
Yes I agree bacuse him just being sad isn't enough so him be frustrated was a nice touch.
Holy crap this is so good! Out of all Camilo's Interlude animatics out there, I feel like yours looks the most lively and dynamic. The transitions are smooth, and the different angled shots make the characters fit with the backgrounds really well. I also just love how you draw all of the characters! Both Camilo and Dolores' personalities definitely shine in this. I can't express it enough, I hope your animatic gets more attention because your animation, art style, composition planning, editing, and transitions are all stunning. Keep up the amazing work!

I like Camilo’s face when he’s like “DuMb JOkEs?! WhO doEs ShE tHiNk ShE iS?!” Its a good detail into the Animation and its clever and funny :D
She must really love her little brother for not getting angry at him saying "I wish I had a gift like you", like her gift is something nice and easy. She, constantly overflowing with sounds and voices, hearing everything, every secret, laughter, cry... Hearing everyone talking behind her back... Shutting herself in while seeing her brother outgoing and loved by everyone.
And still she loves and cares about him.
Who else just scream in excitement when this animatic just looks like the more lively than the other Camilo interlude animatic??

The life of Encanto characters is miles away from perfect. Pepa can't allow herself to feel sad, or worried, nothing at all, and therefore Camilo must keep her in good mood the whole time.

AH i love it this is probably the best I’ve seen for Camilo’ interlude!! I keep hoping one will be with him and Dolores dancing at once point and this is the closest I’ve found. I get the dancing is probably hard to animate BUT your animatic is so fluid and expressive!! Great job!

AHHHHHHHHH ONLY HALFWAY IN I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. The beginning where he’s reminiscing what his family’s said to him is great and I love the fluidity of the movements you make. The facial expressions are also amazing and portray what he’s thinking and feeling so well. AH I just love this sm 💙

This was lovely! I especially like the sequence of expressions at 1:26; you conveyed a really specific and familiar facial behavior in an effective, visually efficient way and married it beautifully to the tone of the voice.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate that it's Dalores who talks with Camilo, not only is she his older sister but with her gift even at night when Camilo is in his room and thinks no one can hear him she can this means she may understand Camilo better then anyone. Because she knows the side of him that he may hide from everyone else, it can often be easier to fake a smile the it is to ask for help.
I like that Dolores is in this song, it's great to see this side of the family gets along so good, especially because of the flaws in the other side of the family, they don't really have a good relationship between the sisters.
There are also good examples for that in the movie, like, when Camillo steels food, it seems that Dolores is going along with that, the both of them have such a great and supportive personality, like, you can see Camillo helping this exhausted mother in the family madrigal, when the house collapsed, Dolores was taking care of Abella

I really like this video. For quite a number of reasons, among which there are artstyle, the style of animation and my own assosiations with Camilo's thoughts... and the ending. It was so cute :3 They both know their gifts have their prices. And they help each other laugh it away.
Camilo's a nice boi. In a very nice family we didn't have a chance to see in full potential. A part of me is scared of possible (?) second part of the movie, because they just may ruine the lively and real picture of Pepa's part of the family fans created.
