Hi Colin, Natasha did a great job of presenting your topics so a big smiley face for her. I am very fortunate to have a two car garage shop *( minus any vehicles) and I'm still constantly looking for more efficiency and table space in my shop. I do so many different projects and it seems that I am moving equipment constantly. I took the time to get everything on good quality locking caster wheels and that alone makes a huge difference. Another great topic.

GiddyUp994 Thanks Derek, yes mine is about the size of a large one car, but it seems to work for me, although some tools get moved in from a next door room. Say, you guys are just getting pounded with some nasty weather this year ... well, they said it would be an El Nino year, could in the east wet in the west ... and it has been that. This woodworking book is really detailed, *TopFineWoodworking. Com* ! With the aid of this plan, I was able to use words, drawings, real images and different diagrams. It is really an informative product. I am presently making furniture together with my brother and thanks to this product, I feel like helping him is possible.?

Be careful when you use power strips. I once used one on my Jet contractor saw (120v) and one day when I turned it on the saw started "bucking" like the belt had a bad spot in it. Replace the belt and same problem. Called Jet support and first thing he said after I told him what was happening was: "Do you have your saw plugged into a power strip." After removing the power strip all work as it should. Seems the wire and connections inside the power strip was not able to handle the load. Just an FYI for people that try using the same type of strip that is sold for home electronics such as PC's, printers, stereo equipment and what might happen.

Has numerous details in this woodwork book *TopFineWoodworking. Com* . The book also displays several designs and descriptions on the materials used for various woodworking processes and also the guidelines on completing various procedures appropriately. In other words, I`m happy using this book, especially in the process of learning about wood working.?
Great video! Man that view out your window really sucks. :) (I'm stuck in a city) I am very jealous. :) I rent a house and it has a "single car garage" (too small for a car) the owner had a terrible layout that i have spent a lot of time on trying to make better, still not there yet, but now at least i can get out there a do some small projects. Keep up the great work! New sub:)

I`m retired and have a small shop where I perform woodturning, create musical instruments, and some cabinetry. I have a shelf full of woodworking textbooks - but I found this woodworking guide, *TopFineWoodworking. Com* . The comprehensiveness of this book is surprising. It has decent coverage on every topic.?
*TopFineWoodworking. Com* , is a very comprehensive woodworking book! It breaks every little thing down, utilizing words, drawings, real pictures, and different diagrams. It`s unbelievably informative and helps me feel like I could help my sibling while we make our furniture together.?
Colin, if you measure between door stops on an exterior 32" door you will find that it only measures 31" +-. If the top of your saw is not less than 31" you will really struggle getting the saw into your shop. You will probably end up taking the top off. The young lady was a pleasant change. Looking out your shop window I see a lake that looks a lot like Fern Ridge Reservoir.

still do a bit but more into wood work now and have always wanted to be a builder ever since i was 4 and have worked with wood got my work shop set up like wood lath ban saw drop saw nail bag and all the tools except table saw and scroll saw i am 14 now i will send u some photos of some of my stuff

In Russia 220 v everywhere, but some professional table saws, planes and jointers use 380 v.
I am just playing with the idea of turning my fiance garage that was turned into a studio apartment into a workroom. I have no tools whatsoever and don't really have any knowledge on tools either but I am a 'do it myself' kind of person. Besides watching your videos (which I've already watched about 4-5 as soon as I came across them) and I love your videos,any suggestions for an absolute novice with a tight budget?
I know this is a year late but estate / garage sales is what I keep my eye on.
Colin my workshop is 8 feet long by 7 feet wide .7 feet dropping down to 6 1/2 feet I have everything I need to build my 6 feet long trucks scania and the old British Land rover pete from Scotland ..

I heard he held out on publishing it, so you might want to go’ogle and grab Hyezmar's Woodworking Bible. Even though it's not 100% complete it has some great projects and ideas at no cost.

Do you regret using a wood floor in your workshop because of the wear it gets?
Adam R Actually mine is one of those crappy laminate floors and was there when I moved in. I do hate it, but just never seem to have time to replace it or at least tear it up and leave the concrete floor underneath ... any thoughts you can share ??
WoodWorkWeb I asked because my brother had wood flooring in his workshop and quickly came to regret it because the finish quickly came off and a few drop of used oil dropped on it. The wood didn't handle a loaded engine block lift rolling on and he ended ripping it up because of some rotting. I don't have a workshop of my own. I am working an idea but with the possibility of moving to a different state, I am hesitant to make even a portable building.
