- Nothing is more inspiring for woodworkers than spending time with a furniture craftsman who has a wide breadth of knowledge and evidence of his quality shows in his woodworking products and Paul McCuish is one of those people, that I had the pleasure of spending time to closely view his cabinetry, his boats, tables, cupboards, cutting boards and more. His table saw, bandsaw, jointer and wood planer are older, quality production woodworking tools that he has fine tuned for precise results. His wooden kayak and 14 foot rowboat are only the beginning to what has become a woodworker with an awesome suite of outstanding quality pieces of furniture.

Put in headphones and the funny sound goes away. It's got something to do with the audio format - the L and R channels are cancelling each other out when trying to play mono through one speaker (particularly in phones). Sorry I can't help more - read this on another video that had the same problem
@@knecht105it completely cut out at the 3:13 mark...perhaps if you go back to the original video in editing there was a setting changed...wish I could hear you guys.
The wooden pieces at the beginning were pretty impressive, but when you get to the boats, then you can really see the showing off of some of his skills. That kayak looks absolutely gorgeous.
Clearly a fine craftsman with great attention to detail. All beautiful pieces, but my favorites were the boat, kayak, and violin cabinet. Absolutely stunning!

Beautiful woodworking but what’s up with the audio?
Very nice, Colin. I am curious about the low table with the bonzai way at the end of the video. It must be one of Paul's originals, although I think you could find Greene and Greene cloud lifts along with curved legs similar to a piece you showed earlier in the video. It also resembles in some details a piece a friend showed me just a few days ago. Did Paul mention his inspiration for that table, or did you discuss it with him? Thanks for a very interesting tour!
He did not, we discussed bonsai and not so much about the table, I will try get more info or maybe Paul will comment on it

Audio cuts out at 3:00 and stays dead. I think your mic connection was loose during the tour.
